NOTHEREONSTINGLE! This is a yard for trucks and there’s a bunch of food trucks stored here. They’re not open here. No idea how to find them but it was a waste of time and gas to go here. 3 other cars showed up and we all had to u-turn and leave-it’s at the end of a dead end street.

Convenient for a late night snack. The tacos are good but they are really stingy on the sauce and lemon.

This taco truck is hands down bomb. I have gone here for many years. I remember when I used to come here when they had just this basic looking truck. And then I suppose since they made some more money, they upgraded to a truck with lights. But then when they upgraded they raised up their prices by 50 cents. And then I was like hell no am I going to pay $ 1.50 for a taco truck. And then when I knew the price was $ 1. Later as the years gone by, one of my friend told me that they went back to $ 1. I guess they realized that $ 1.50 was cutting. But I believe that the tripas are the only ones that cost $ 1.25 or $ 1.50. When I’m here of course I have to order the Carne Asada. The tacos they have here are so juicy and just satisfying. The tripas here are bomb too. The tripas that they have here have a nice crispy crunch to it. This place is the spot to be if you want some bomb and cheap tacos.

Great service, great food, and great location. I loved the tacos and burritos, both with crane asada. The quesadilla was ok. Friendly, and fast. The quality of the food is good too, not greasy like some other food trucks. Will return.

This food truck is awesome. Tacos are delicious. Quesadillas good also. Chicken, carnitas, carne asada all tasty. The green salsa is fairly spicy, haven’t tried the red. Make sure to get onions and cilantro. The family that runs it are all very nice. Only downside is that they are getting increasingly busy with longer wait times, however, it is worth it

I only tried the tacos here. Chicken and beef are good except for the fish tacos. they could add more meat to the tacos. I don’t know what’s up with these tacos trucks health grade, not so good.

i tried this place out because i didnt wanna drive to el sereno to get sum tacos, so this taco truck is up the street from me. this taco truck has okay tacos for $ 1.00 but sucky ass burritos with a funky smell!! and they only give you 3 salsas regardless on how much food you get!!! i guess they dont like putting meat in your burrito nd its more beans nd rice than meat! its packed with AZNs that think its like the greatest mexican food ever!!!

I don’t know folks. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health gave them a 68 on there last inspection on 7÷3÷2013. That gives Tacos La Dona a grade D. 16 violations!!! Really? I will pass.

I enjoy good Mexican food that is tasty, cheap and fast! Though it is not a sit down restaurant with chairs and tables, I HIGHLY recommend this place! Nothing in the area is better! I prefer this place over Estrella Tacos and King Taco!

I was looking for some late night grub after class & I found this place off Unilocal. I ordered fish tacos & chicken tacos. The fish tacos had the usual, fried fish, shredded cabbage & crema & a small tomato slice. Everything all together tasted very fresh. The fish was crispy & that crema was on point. I also usually find that with Mexican food I tend to favor one salsa, depending on what spot it’ll be either the red or green. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really like both, equally the same. The chicken tacos were bomb too! I’m definitely goin back for more. Next time I want to try their hand made version of the quesadilla & their shrimp tacos as well

First off I would like to say this truck gets no love. Just cuz its the new kid on the block doesn’t mean its not good. I started going to this truck at its original location in Rosemead(on the corner of Rosemead and Duarte). In all honesty when I first tried the tacos at this truck, I thought they were just ok. But after some time I think they made some changes and now I can say they are my go to taco truck. I would always order just carne asada tacos. But after one night of drinking I decided to be funny and ordered all the different meats(asada, carnitas, al pastor, buche, lengua and suadero). Thanks to alcohol I discovered my new favorite meat at La Dona… SUADERO. Damn this meat is DELICIOUS, it has flavor like asada and tenderness like lengua. I asked the lady what kind of meat it was and she said it comes from the chest of a cow. After further research google, I still don’t really know what the meat is. But I know its DELICIOUS. However I don’t know of any other place that prepares their suadero like La Dona, everyone else overcooks it. Tacos are always a must when I go. But I would definitely recommend the quesadillas too. They put in the perfect ratio of meat and cheese, so you can take taste all the ingredients. They also have more of a selection than the other taco trucks on Fair Oaks, but I don’t remember the names of the items cuz they were in spanish, and I’m a creature of habit… 1 asada quesadilla, 2 suadero tacos and a horchata please!

The real taco truck down the street(closer to California Blvd.) was closed, so we went to this place. The guy that took our order was cool and the truck had a lot of flashing lights(the type that give people seizures). They had a large menu to choose from which was cool. They needed another cook because there was a lot of people and it took a long time to get our food. I was going to order the pastor tacos but they ran out of pastor. So I ordered the asada. The meats was not good, my sister ended up getting the mud butt and another friend also got sick from the meat. The salsa was good

Amazeballs! On our never-ending conquest to try every taco truck possible, we come across delicious Tacos La Doña. I must say. I am super impressed. Try the quesadilla with the hand-made tortillas. So delicious. Even without the meat, the flavors of the tortilla and the cheese are perfection. The husband, who is a BIG Al Pastor fan, is a huge fan of their Tacos Al Pastor. Loving that flavor! Flavorful meat, yummy tortillas, and hot sauces that singe your taste buds. Can’t ask for anything better. My personal favorite? I’m with Anna T. below… the Tripas tacos… holy cow! Best tripas I’ve had in a long time. Admittedly I am a huge Tripas girl, anyways. Being Thai, I try to incorporate it into damn near everything! So, of course I’m always a fan of tripas. But Tacos La Doña REALLY does it well. Seasoned and cooked to perfection! My only gripe that would bring this place down a star… the wait. No… I don’t mean the lines. I mean the long time you’ve got to wait for your food to come out. But considering they handmake their tortillas and everything, I’ll let them the star-deduction go unnoticed.

I tried this place on a whim because they were at my local park for a fundraiser. I tried four tacos: chicken, beef, pork, and pastor. I have to say that the tacos + meat were all pretty tasty. However, all of the condiments and sauces were WAYTOOHOT for this gringa. I tried the green salsa(tomatillo) and the green sauce(spicy avocado?). Even the pickled onions packed a burn. Tears were streaming from my eyes. If you’re a fan of hot then it is probably no problem but if you’re a wimp like me, beware. And no way would I feed anything other than a bare taco to my kid.

I am ashamed to say, but my friend and I have tried every single thing on their menu! Last week, we were there 3x after having dinner for a late night chow… this is probably why I can’t lose weight seriously! Anyhow today, I had Fernando from Tacos La Dona come to catered to my exempt team in Pasadena. Every single person LOVEDIT and were wondering when they were coming back(next Monday team… you’ll just have to wait). OK– love their fish and shrimp tacos, just like in ensenada and cabo… the food is so fresh… My favorite is the tripa tacos with the red sauce and extra habanero onions… man does it burn in seductive way… You know you’re going to get burned, but you take your chances… with a pepcid or tums of course! Gotta try it!

This was my 3rd Taco Truck within 2 hours. The initial goal was Arturo’s Taco, but I could not help but stop by due to their insanely lit LEDs. For such a great LEDed out truck, their meal listing is very poor. It was as if you saw a beautiful guy/girl from a distances, walked up to him/her and were like, «Hey! You tricked me.» Oh … Sorry. That had nothing to do with their rating. Since it was my 3rd stop, I really enjoyed their Pastor tacos and for some reason, their torilla seemed very fresh, soft, and finely grilled to perfection, just a right amount of crisp on the outside. I liked the idea that they have more items to select from, which I was too full from trucks 1 and 2 to try. I suppose with my analogy, his/her personality was better than OK.

Seafood tacos!!! Fish and shrimp — so delicious! I am surprised many people posted their reviews about this Pasadena taco truck on it’s other location in Rosemead and no one has written about the one in Pasadena yet. I guess I will share my experience here. It started as my friend Mr. M and I would try all the taco trucks on Fair Oaks Ave. in Pasadena. I have to admit I have been a semi-regular of El Taquito Mexicano Truck so I was skeptical about other new comers. I still think El Taquito makes the best spicy pork and asada(steak) tacos :) Ok, so I went for Tacos La Dona since I heard about the great reviews about their other location in Rosemead. This Pasadena location is at a HUGE parking lot. You’d never need to worry about parking. No other taco trucks around this area serves seafood tacos so I tried the shrimp tacos first. it was delicious so I ordered the fish tacos. BOY it was even better! The batter is not too heavy but very crispy. The inside is tender, fresh, and juicy — just cooked perfectly as any fried seafood you would want it to be. Oh, did I mention it was so inexpensive?!! Then we tried the entire menu. The asada is very juicy and seasoned just right(slightly saltier than Taquito). I like the way they put three different sauces outside so you get to add them however you like. Ask for the pork skin taco if you like pork skin. It’s super juicy with a good kick. I am not a big fan of chicken taco in general so I would say it was just all right. In addition, I even found the Mexican style«Dirty Dog» — hot dog wrapped with bacon. It’s so evil but so irresistibly delicious. If you like your grilled onion to be more caramelized like I do, make sure you mention it when ordering. By the way, the guy who usually takes orders is very friendly and easy-going. You can make a special request as long as they are not too busy which is another plus why I like about this place. One last thing that surprised me is it comes with its own PORTAPOTTY for the customers!!! How convenient can it be! I am sure some late night drinkers will appreciate it. My must-try list: — Fish — Shrimp — Asada(steak) — Al-pastor(bbq pork) — Chicharron * They rotate menu regularly. The guy told me they have a pretty big menu so I am definitely coming back to try more new items!
