Not as good as they used to be. The soup was overly sweet and the phở was overcooked. The grilled pork over rice was not authentic, as they did not use the typical broken rice. The lady always looks mean and she scares me. I used to be a huge fan of this place. Now – not so much. Not coming back unless they change. Final Verdict: I used to love coming here for the piping hot phở. All good things must come to an end – DUH! They changed their soup and their service is still bad. I finished my food, because I didn’t want the lady to be mad.

Yum deep fried catfish! You’ll have to wait up to 30 minutes for one these bad boys. These babies the size of my calf and I’m not a skinny bitch so you’ll want to share. Since the wait is so long, I suggest getting a refreshing chicken salad to begin with. It’s light but enough to get you through the wait and the multiple attempts at rolling your food properly.

Who knew catfish could be this good? Tony C. thought we wouldn’t be able to finish 2 catfish, but boy was he wrong. I think he needed to be reminded that he was in the presence of Unilocalers whose sole function in life is to eat. Although, like Pete, I wasn’t a good roller of vietnamese rolls, they still tasted pretty damn good, if I do say so myself(sorry Pete, your rolls looked pretty bad… but it’s ok… coz so did mine. Thi was the only one with professional looking ones). I love the concept of making your own spring rolls — it’s so interactive! Plus, the fact that this was my first official UYE(with food) made the experience an even more delightful one. The total price for each person — $ 15 — NOTBAD at all for all the spring rolls I consumed. Thanks Tony C. for setting this up! woohoo!

Came here on an lunch invite from my man Tony C. After being lost in the hood and ended up in Tito’s plaza( ), I finally found this place. Got to meet a few fellow Unilocalers like Regina and Theresa and Thi Le. It was all about catfish spring rolls. Ordered 2 fried catfish.( )You dissect, fill in goodies such as lettuce, noodles, fish sauce, mint. You roll and then eat. Rinse and repeat. I wasn’t very good at rolling part but I was good at eating. It was nice to just sit down with a small group of people at these luncheons. Got to know everyone well and the get together was definitely 5 stars. The catfish was about 4 stars. 2 catfish with all the fixings was $ 77 before tip. I also ordered a grilled pork vermicelli noodle dish to go. The owner was going to charge me $ 1 extra until I pointed to her that it was not that much. So because of that and the fact that 1⁄3 of the pork was fat, I dinged her one star.
