On THURSDAYS salsa dance, great place, dancers are friendly, no high egos, drinks fair price, if you want to learn salsa this is a good place, they have salsa lessons. I Normally bring groups of people to use the dance floor and I teach them the techniques from the beginning, turn patterns and fun moves.

Was here last night for salsa and was surprised to find that they have Farm 2 Fork Restaurant. It is much better than any restaurant they have had before. We had a chai tea that was made with fresh herbs and local honey, baked samosa with a house made tamarind sauce and for dinner we had Salmon with rosemary mashed potatoes. Everything they are making is fresh and made in house. If you are coming in for salsa, come in early and have dinner. They will not disappoint and provide excellent customer service. The restaurant is a farm to fork, they have American favorites and also healthy East Indian favorites.

BOO! This place is beyond creepy. On their website they advertise Karaōke on Friday nights at 6. I got a group of friends together to go. I called SEVERAL times in advance to confirm that karaōke was still on and if there was an age restriction on who can go. FINALLY, after days of attempting to call, a gentleman answered. He made it sound like it was all ages and karaōke was still planned. We pulled into the EMPTY parking lot at 6pm sharp. We thought it was closed. But we walked in and NOONE was there. There was one woman working the bar who said that there hasn’t been Karaōke for 6 months now. Two other gentleman walked in after us and promptly walked out. I have never seen a bar empty on a Friday night like that. Don’t waste your time with this place. I already have wasted mine.

I am a regular at their Thu/Sat Salsa Nights. The instructions are usually good and its a good opportunity for anyone who doesn’t know salsa to get started. Drinks are between $ 5-$ 10. They have a mix of DJ’s and DJ Juan and DJ Omar are fun and play a good mix. Sometimes they have bands and those nights its usually not that good surprisingly coz of the sound system. The Bartenders are great, friendly and helpful. Alex is good with his mixes… Actual dancing starts at 10pm and dance class around 9pm…

Good variety of music(salsa, cha cha, bachata, etc). There was enough space to dance. My group of friends and I had a good time. Will come back. Fun salsa club.

I don’t know where to start. So the dj six was too loud thay you couldn’t hear the artist. I gave drink away… not good. Too far for this wack ass entertainment. I had to give a rating, but they don’t deserve one to me.

This place was horrible. Crammed full of snobby people who look at you like you don’t belong there. We had the vip table area and I was told I could not have water unless I bought a 20 $ bottle from my server. I thought they were kidding!!! So rude!

Best Salsa dancing in the area! Come on Saturday nights if you love to dance. There are plenty of serious dancers there to dance with. Watch out for a few creepy guys but other than that its a great place to go! Also, the hot dog stand was delicious!!!

If there was an option for no stars that’s what they’d get. Came to the station for a party that I drove an hour to get to. The owner of the station, a guy named Josh was bar tending the event and was a complete asshole. The POS machine at the bar wasn’t working so I had to get money out of the ATM to order drinks. Once I ordered drinks from him, he told me okay and the proceeded to service female customers without ever making my drink. He seemed way more concerned with getting laid than getting paid. When I complained he told me that«he was the owner and could do whatever he liked.» He was right in the sense that this was his bar, but never once was I ride to this guy about getting my drinks. Because I complained he then called security over to escort me out. They asked what had happened and when I explained, they apologized but the owner was still being a dick. End result was free drinks. But not what I ordered. Can’t wait for that guy to read his reviews.

NOTE: This review pertains to Salsa Thursdays/Saturdays. I am a Salsa dancer, so if you’re asking about other nights, I can’t help you. Also, their Tuesday night West Coast Swing night has moved to the Rodeo House in Old Roseville. Anyway, Salsa Thursdays/Saturdays have been one of the long-standing institutions in the Sacramento Salsa community! $ 5 cover at the door, which includes a lesson from Mike Del Campo, the premier Salsa instructor in town! The lesson usually goes from about 8:30PM to 9:30PM and is very beginner-friendly, so don’t be scurred! After that, there’s dancing until 1:30AM and the DJ(DJ Omar on Thursdays, and a rotating selection of DJs on Saturdays) plays a selection of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cha-cha-cha and Kizomba all night long. I love it here, though I can’t give it a perfect rating because 1) the bartenders aren’t the greatest. They’re not terrible, but they don’t make great drinks and 2) sometimes the DJs go too many non-Salsa songs in a row(I’m a bit picky with my musical preferences and prefer salsa, so your mileage may vary). Also, the parking situation ain’t the greatest, but there’s overflow parking across the street…

A friend and I tried out this place for the first time on Saturday. We got there at 8pm. It was just the two of us and the bartender so I was a bit skeptical thinking this place must be whack. I cannot comment much on the food. We only had 3 tacos before we left. It was too overprized for such a small serving. More and more people started arriving at around 9pm. We participated in the salsa dance lesson by Del Campo Dance Studio instructors. It was so much fun! The music they played were classic hits that night. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up buying 8 sessions of salsa dance lessons with Del Campo Dance Studio. The couple apparently instruct dance classes at The Station on Thursday and Saturday nights. Anyway, after an hour of dance lessons, the floor is then open for everyone who wants to get groovin. I like the vibe of the place. You can really see how people go out there to have a fun time. It can get really packed though. I will highly come back for more dancing.

This place is awesome! My friends and I try to come out here as often as possible. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. We love the low-key vibe it has on it’s slower nights because it provides a great place for us to hang out, catch up, and enjoy our time out.

Good selection of music on Saturday night, our first time. It gets hot and sweaty quickly, the level of the dancer is very good. I enjoyed seeing leaders made flares that make sense, although not my thing… The drinks were overpriced and a margarita that taste like lime juice is not an adult drink. Good luck. If I was living nearby I will come back become friends with the bartender and have real margaritas and dance with hot ladies.

OK, I’ve had mixed results with this place. Good food. Good prices. Very poor service once, but the rest of the time it was pretty decent. My father claims they made the best Old Fashioned he’s ever had. Much older crowd, and usually a small crowd. Was told that Wed & Fri nights are very slow. As for the very poor service I got once: After contacting the manager(owner?), he made it right with me. I’ll be back when I’m in the mood for something quiet.

The Station has one of the best dance floors in the area and is often filled with various meet-up groups that come out to dance, eat, and drink. The staff are wonderful — quick, friendly and efficient. The drinks are good, and they will make custom drinks for you. The menu changes often, the burgers and fries are always great, and the food service has improved tremendously! There are different types of music, depending on the night. Sometimes salsa dancing, sometimes country music. If there isn’t a live band, a DJ will spin the tunes. They have karaōke on some nights. Tuesday nights there is a wonderful Blues jam, one of the few in town that encourages younger players to join the seasoned professional musicians. Location is great, right off I-80, with plenty of parking. Come check it out!

Thursdays & Saturdays are the best. Another awesome place to shake your groove thang to some Latin music. No cover if you get there before 9:30, only $ 5 bucks after, drink specials and there is always 1 or 2 lessons before the social dancing begins. Kim, one of the owners is amazing and you will find her behind the bar mixing up some special drinks for the crowd and making sure everyone feels welcomed. Make sure to get there early, it gets really crowded. It has a great little patio area and they sell the most amazing bacon wrapped hot dogs. Definitely a good time.

This was the first time we tried this spot. It’s two rail cars, a caboose and more, all put together. Wasn’t expecting much, maybe some basic lunch items. Boy were we surprised! I ordered the oriental salad and my husband had the Philly French dip sandwich. Probably the best we’ve ever had of both of these choices! Really really good! This place had a bunch of big screens playing the football game on a Saturday afternoon, they had a dance floor(maybe 2), and the bar section is somewhat separate from the dining area. We weren’t thrilled with the iced tea and maybe some of the décor, but the food was AMAZING! Special thanks to Mike, our server who was very attentive.

I went on a Saturday when they had the free salsa dancing lessons. I didn’t realize it was an intermediate class so it was too fast paced. The food was just overpriced and not that flavorful, and the drinks were weak. They only played salsa music the rest of the night, and that’s fine. but I was over it pretty quickly. Creepy dude sat down at my table and make too much awkward small talk, but that’s not the bar’s fault :) Meh, probably wouldn’t venture out there again. Maybe if I lived closer?

Saturday salsa dancing is the BOMB!!! Drink specials of $ 5 too… I would of drank more, except I had to drive myself home(poopy). This is my favorite place to salsa dance and I hear that poopy Roseville is trying to make salsa dancing go away. WTF?!? Salsa dancers are awesome people. We are not rowdy-out-of-control-drunk folks who break stuff and get loud outside. We come to DANCE, DANCE, DANCE!!! Please, please, please don’t let Wednesday and Saturday salsa disappear from the Station.

If you like west coast swing dancing, The Station should definitely be your next stop. I live downtown and don’t get to the Roseville area much, but I make it a point to go here on Tuesdays. Tuesday nights are the BEST! First, you have some of Sacramento’s best west coast swing instructors teaching beginning and intermediate west coast swing. Then it’s open dancing all night. The folks at really know their stuff and are super patient and helpful when you are just learning. Just to watch everyone else dance is entertainment enough. Bartenders and staff there are awesome, especially Kristi!!! Haven’t eaten there yet since I’m too busy dancing, but may try some delectables soon. It does smell really amazing every time I’m there though.
