I ordered a grilled breast and a go cup with 2 tenders and potato wedges. The Go Cup was free with a drink purchase because I had filled out the survey on my receipt from my last visit to KFC last month. The survey coupon is valid for 30 days, and so I went to KFC today because the coupon will expire tomorrow. They informed me that there would be 14 minute wait for the grilled breast and offered me an extra piece or a cookie. They ended up giving me a free grilled wing and biscuit, which more than made up for the wait. The staff was very nice and friendly and the food was typical KFC, which I think is good. I especially like the grilled chicken and the biscuit, and the prices are very reasonable, even without the coupon. The location is also very good, as it is next to an HEB, so I went grocery shopping after my lunch at KFC. The receipt I received today has another survey offer for another free go cup, so I will likely complete the survey and be back within the next 30 days.

My experience at this location was GREAT(it was my first time eating KFC in a year). I pulled into the drive thru, ordered my meal,(there was no line) & received my food in less than 3 minutes. The staff was very friendly as well. Greeted me with a lot of energy, staff was upbeat, & attentive. I will be back. I LOVE their coleslaw. I will not eat it from any other place but here. I

So many things are wrong here. This place is badly managed. On the last three visits — there has been no one monitoring the walk up area! Kind of makes you wonder how they survive when you have to wait 5 minutes for someone to take your order(maybe you are supposed to use the«hit the bell if you got great service» to get any service, lol). The first time, we were going to eat in but then all the large tables were dirty, the floor was grimey, the two tables that had been cleared had disgusting wet towel residue wipe marks — yuk. On all three visits — they were out of at least one item that we wanted to order(green beans twice and cole slaw the other time). Double check your order before you leave! So if you have plenty of time to wait, don’t mind a filthy dining area, want to guess which items on the menu they haven’t run out of and aren’t picky about getting what you ordered … this is the place for you! With Dickie’s BBQ, Pita Fusion, Wendy’s and Quiznos to choose from in the same shopping center — pass on this KFC.

First we went to the drive thru and waited forever, then left to go inside and waited another forever. And left to another KFC that was quick.

So. Like most reviews I must start with TRIPLECHECKYOURORDERBEFOREDRIVINGAWAY. The guy who took our order repeated everything 3x over the intercom and was just starting to punch the orders into the cash register as we drove up to the window. He then proceeded to hand is drinks which were dripping with the soda. We got the food(at snail speed) and began to drive away when we decided to check the order. He did not properly seal the containers of gravy, resulting in a puddle of gravy at the bottom of the bags. One of our meals was completely missing resulting in us having to go back in to get it and make a formal complaint. KFC typically does not disappoint, however this location is less than satisfactory.

Really disappointed in this KFC location. I ordered a kfc $ 5 fill up famous bowl. I was disappointed to see when I got home that there was no gravy on it and that instead of cut up pieces of chicken, like the other KFC’s put, I come face to face with chicken strips. I wanted a famous bowl for something quick to eat, but instead I’m wasting time cutting up chicken to be able to eat my gavyless famous bowl.

Avoid this KFC. They are not training their employees properly. I went inside, there was stuff all over the kitchen floor. The counter service had only been there two days, he didn’t know how to correctly enter or service the orders. We waited over 20 minutes before complaining and finally getting our meals after ordering. The orders were ALL wrong for all of us waiting!!! The new guy didn’t even give me ANY Breasts in my Qty 12 piece chicken only bucket EVEN after I complained and had him redo it !!! …and he smartly didn’t give me an itemized receipt so I couldn’t go online and complain. Chicken was greasy; will not purchase there ever again. This was the worst experience in the two years I have been going there, but the store has consistently declined in that time frame. Go to Target and get their Fried Chicken… go anywhere else.

This place never has anything I order. They say there out of it all the time. No wonder there’s so few KFCs left.

I don’t think I’ve ever eaten at a KFC. I grew up in Baton Rouge in the land of Popeye’s and I honestly go to Popeyes on occasion to get two things, good fried chicken and to listen to Dr. John and the Meters play over the sound system. It’s as close to home as I get these days. KFC tenders, some mashed potatos that seemed instant and no coke? Really? I can’t figure out what’s up with fast food places that can’t give me a coke. I guess they gotta pay their bills to Coke as a business. I may try KFC again but I was completely underwhelmed.

I don’t know how this place has such poor reviews?.. How do you get pissed off that you’re getting hot, freshly grease fried chicken? Ill wait for 6 minutes. shit, Ill wait for 10, but I DO expect that you’ll have some extra biscuits, a side or some pies in there for my wait. If that’s the case, management needs to step it up. I didn’t have that problem tho. Drove through late last week on a school night– after not having had KFC in years. We really don’t eat«that» kind of stuff anymore, but it was that or the read headed girl with braids, and I needed something a bit more comfort-food-ish. We ordered the 10 piece bucket and sides. Extra crispy! We added 2 extra large sides for $ 4. What I thought I was getting though was the picture of 2 pieces of additional chicken and 2 sides. for $ 4, I thought«hell yeah». so when I got home to 10 pieces of chicken vs 12, I called back & it was then explained to me its either OR. All was good after that. Chicken was delicious. Cole-slaw was traditional KFC yumminess. Mashed tates and gravy and biscuits hadn’t changed. Satisfaction. Thank you for NOT changing your damn recipe! My almost 7 year old says as we pull into the drive through, «is this the place with the red and white bucket?». I answer him with a yes, and he responds with«this is the best day of my life!!»… How do you not get at least 4 stars after that?

This is a very poorly managed location of KFC. I’ve stopped here many times despite the poor service because it is convenient, but I think today was the last time. I got contradictory answers from the guy on the drive-through microphone and a blank stare from the girl who took my money when I asked a very basic question. I was told I would have to wait six minutes for my chicken strips(despite it being during the peak time when they should have expected the business) but it took more than twice that. Then when I got home, I realized that part of my order was missing.

This review is based off of my experience at this location on 11÷11÷12 around 3pm While on a road trip I had a MASSIVE craving for some KFC so we drove 10 mins out of our way to come here… Dirty, dirty, dirty this place is a disgrace to the KFC name. I’m pretty sure the employees knew this place sucks because when I asked for a new cup(the tea was soooo bad) the girl at the counter was like… oh yea I know… 8-( So here’s the Bad: 1. Soda machines leak and spray water on your hands when filling your cup(Which means that they are DIRTY) 2. Soda splattered all over the floors making a huge sticky mess 3. The trash cans had recently been emptied but the staff didn’t bother to close the doors that cover the trash cans so they were wide open and stunk. Now if there is no trash but it SMELLS like trash I’m thinking that there is something hiding just out of sight. GROSSGET A MOP! 4. The«fresh» brewed tea tasted disgusting. The best way to describe it is if you brewed tea, left it sitting room temp and let the used tea bags sit in the tea all day ANDTHEN take a drink… yea that’s about right. 5. There were chicken bones on the floor in the walk ways. 6. Greasy finger prints on pretty much everything… tables, backs of chairs, windows, counters, table tops oh and you guessed it even on the main entrance door.(Think of that one as a little parting gift on your way out) 7. Food crumbs everywhere. 8. The manager on duty was yelling at the staff back in the kitchen. I couldn’t make out what he was saying but if I worked there I would quit. Here’s the Good: The dark meat chicken was good

Got a sandwich that had a portion of the bun missing. For some stupid reason, I bit into it anyway. It was cold, stale, and tasted like it had been sitting around for a few days. Had to throw it away. Apparently, nobody here cares about the quality of food the customer gets, because the thing looked nasty as soon as I opened the box.

They always mess up your order. So before driving away, triple check everything because even if you have them repeat the order back to you they ALWAYS forget something.

This particular KFC or KGC or whatever you call it sucks. I would give it zero stars if I had the option. We rolled up through the drive-thru for a $ 10 bucket of yard bird and some mashed potatos. When we got to the window the kid taking the money told us they didn’t have any chicken ready. WTF? was my first thought but I politely asked how long it would be. Two mins was the answer and I decided no big deal. He asked me to pull forward and they would bring it out to me. 15 minutes later, yes I timed it, still no bird. Cars where leaving the drive thru at a steady pace. I grabbed my receipt and walked up to the drive thru window. I asked the kid if we were ever going to get our food. The manager came over and told him, «It’s sitting right here.» Our chicken had been sitting next to his register for god knows how long. I asked if it was cold and the kid replied«No it just barely came out» I asked him if he meant«it just came out?» because it «barely» coming out wasn’t really an option. Either it comes out all the way or it doesn’t, but not«barely» I went online when I got home and left a comment pretty much like this one but haven’t heard back from them and I’m guessing, probably won’t

The two stars is a product of this being a chain — as with most, everything a chain makes you can experience better in some other fashion. I wouldn’t normally bother reviewing a fast-food chain, but for the sake of the AATX list I’ve decided to toss in an entry and found I actually had more to say about KFC that I thought. First off, Kentucky«Grilled» Chicken? Really? Sanders must have rolled over in his grave when they started printed the«KGC» buckets, trying to reinvent themselves as a healthier place to eat. For a while you couldn’t get«extra crispy» strips, but now they’re selling the«new» crunch-box combo that basically reintroduces them. Can’t get the Buffalo snacker anymore, but you can still get the regular one. I guess I just don’t get it — they should have just stuck to their guns like Burger King did and continue making the food people enjoyed while simply adding the re-vamped grilled recipe to their arsenal. But I digress… As Gary mentioned this particular place is also joined with an A&W Burger, which gives the family a few more options. Additionally, if you eat inside, they have the classic root beer«on tap» for dine-in guests to get their Float on, although I think they stopped providing the awesome glass mugs for people here recently, which used to be pretty cool. Now then — for the Atkins portion of the review. Obviously KFC becoming KGC has opened the door to a lot of meal potentials here — just skip the sides, get a few piece meal, diet drink, and you’re good to go, but the unique meal solution I’d like to review in detail is: The(Grilled) Double-Down This awesome meat grenade is two grilled chicken breasts, which act like the«bun», held together by cheese, bacon, and a sauce I can only describe as «awesome sauce». The grilled version supposedly has 3 grams of carbs(sauce I assume) and even the original fried version is a lowly 11 carbs, or a little more than half the 20 allotment on induction. The tradeoff is actually the only complaint I have about the sandwich. You see, batter frying things like chicken tenders and fish actually creates an artificial«handle» for food otherwise solved by a bun or a tortilla. When you remove that golden handle, what you’re left with is a slippery situation. KFC tries to mitigate this in the grilled version by tightly wrapping the bad boy in foil, so you can peel back the goodness a section at a time. But this only gets you so far… the grilled version is EXTREMELY juicy so you’ll want to make sure that box it comes in is there to catch the drippins. Put it plainly, there’s a certain level of care you have to work through when attacking one of these bad boys — unless you’re already a handsy person that doesn’t mind getting dirty. As an added tip, my buddy Greg foregos the awesome sauce and orders a spicy brown mustard which comes on the side as a dipping agent. Haven’t tried it that way yet but he digs it!

Well another Kentucky Fried Chicken place combined with the old A&W Burger place. I had not had any lunch and just got back from the Doctor I have a massive head cold I stopped to get some lunch then go home and sleep. I like the Kentucky fried chicken and got it several times to take home for dinner. So today I got a double A&W burger and fries with drink. Now I remember I had a burger here before as well. I did not like the fries and the meat was so well done it was like trying to eat a dried old piece of liver. Please remind me never to order a burger here again. The young lady who gave me my food was great and very pleasant, one star for staff. If I was rating the Kentucky fried Chicken they would get a three star but I am rating the A&W portion so the get one star. Would I go back? To get chicken yes, to get burgers no.
