I ordered the sunrise special with egg whites, potatoes, toast, and chicken apple sausage with a side of fruit. Everything was very well made, fresh, and savory. Made this evil early morning more manageable. Thank you. Also your mochas are bomb. I was pleasantly surprised. Caution: they have tasty treats lurking everywhere… i almost didnt make it out alive. Cinnamon roll the sixe of my face, pies and cakes, cakes and pies and they all looked so gourmet. Ack! Im excited to try more items from their menu.

Patio seating in nice weather. This is a great place to enjoy live music on the weekends with a lively fun crowd. You’d never think this little gem was hidden in a strip mall in Natomas. Good happy hour food, my favorite is the Poblano Burger! Good breakfasts too.

Amazing food, strong coffee, great ambiance, excellent service! Adrian is the nicest guy & best server! First time coming here, it was quite loud inside so we sat outside, could smell the fragrant flowers, it was relaxing & nice. I had the brioche French toast & cheesy potatoes, oh those potatoes! The coffee was nice & hot, great robust flavor! Will definitely be back, hopefully Adrian will be there! :)

The ambiance is fine but the staff are not very intelligent and they lie on their menu. They didn’t know what a carafe was. The dumb waitress said«I’m underage so I don’t know what a carafe is». Are you kidding me? Wow. The person who took my order didn’t even know how to spell carafe either. So on to the food. Off the menu I ordered«Banana & Cherry Waffle Banana-cherry-walnut compote with house whipped vanilla butter $ 8.99» What arrived was a waffle with about a cup of *dried* cranberries(could have been dried cherries. no way to tell), a cut up banana and some raw walnut halves. Not even chopped. I should have sent the thing back but after the carafe incident I figured the dumb staff would spit in my food. There was no compote and no cherries. Its like a mean joke was played on me. Like I was sent into the future where only stupid people live and nobody knows what a cherry compote or carafe is. I intend on going back because it was gratifying giving the stupid waitress shit for not knowing what a carafe is.

My favorite place for brunch outside of midtown! The food is consistent and always tastes great. Big portions for a reasonable price. Even at peak time we’ve never had to wait more than 30 minutes. They did take away bottomless mimosas which is a bummer, but that’s really the only downside. The eggs bene and turkey avocado omelet are my favs. They also have a great happy hour with drink and food specials. The prosciutto and pear pizza is amazing!

Great place for brunch! There is an inside seating and outside seating area, so this place is dog friendly if you want to eat with your pup outside! I ordered the Prime Rib Ranchero Omelette. It came with potatoes on the side and a piece of toast. The food was really good, and it was a huge portion! The waiters were really friendly. They came to check on us frequently to make sure everything was good and brought our pup a water bowl too. Would def come again for brunch, and maybe dinner too!

My coworkers surprised me with brunch here for my bday. It was my first time here and I will be back! I got the Belgian waffle with strawberries and the loaded cheesy tots. They were both sooo good. My coworker got an omelette and he said it was really good. My other coworker got their French toast and said it was really good too. Their food and their ambiance together make the place have somewhat an elegance feel to it. I like it. They also have tables set up outside and I would love to come back and dine outside on a nice day. They took awhile in the beginning to take our order and my boss went to get someone and after that, they consistently kept checking in with us on our food and water and how were doing. You could tell they wanted to make up for the slow service in the start. 5 stars for good food and service.

I came here for a late lunch with a friend and we sat outside on their large patio area. The service was good. The wait staff was pretty attentive. I thought it was SUPER sweet that a little boy at the table next to ours way folding paper hats and a staff member brought over extra paper for him to make creations with. These little gestures NEVER go unnoticed by me so good for you, young male employee. I was STOKED that even though it was 1:58pm when we sat down, I was still able to order brunch. I had the special which was an Eggs Benedict with corned beef instead of ham. It was AMAZING! It was served with potatoes and asparagus. It was lovely and spring-y and I wish I could have it again. My friend had the Mighty Chicken Salad which looked gorgeous and she liked it a lot. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes and some of their baked goods!

Came here for happy hour. I got a huge glass of chard, cheese board, lisette pizza. Nice ambiance inside and out, always a relaxing time at Bella Bru. Our server, Luis attended to our needs and checked on us often, he completed our dining experience. I’ve also dined here on Fridays, live music was great. And yes, i’ve experience some of the snobby waitresses in my past visits. They need to improve on their smiles and greeting skills.

The ambiance is okay but I waited at the host stand on a Wednesday night to be seated and instead I had to find someone to seat me. I’m 6’2″ tall and it shouldn’t be that difficult to see someone of my stature standing around waiting to be helped. By the way Wednesday didn’t mean they were slammed at 7:30PM. Once seated the waiter was pretty non-attentive. Because of the experience the food and the menu didn’t impress. Why do I have to ask for water 3 times? I wasn’t slamming the water and I also ordered a beer. Something is just wrong when I’m looking for help more than three times. I’d be hesitant to come here on a busy Friday night when they have music. My sandwich and the salad were actually good. The Taco appetizer was delicious but the experience loses its overall value when the service levels are below par.

Came here for NYE dinner and was able to sit at the bar with a short wait even though they were packed. I ordered the calamari, steak sliders and a couple of burgers to go for the rest of my family. The calamari tasted good and was plated with yummy fried asparagus too. The steak sliders had good flavor but the edges of the steak were burnt. They do have enjoyable live music on certain nights and our bartender Bob gave excellent service.

What a nice surprise! Many beers on tap, superb food! I had the best beet salad I’ve ever tasted, and my fiancé had a burger. He’s very picky about his burgers so for him to have enjoyed it means a lot. I would highly recommend Bella Bru to anyone!

An urbanites retreat! Perfect place for Natomas folks who want to have a great time without having to go all the way into the city! We love the diversity, the family welcome vibe, and all the events. Monday night is trivia night, which was a pleasant surprise. The hubs and I came in for dinner and ended up staying to get last place in Trivia… but it was FUN! Friday and Saturday nights they have a live band at dinner. Dancing is encouraged and applauded. Entertainment was actually good. They played a lot of covers, but did so amazingly!

This café offers your average American fare like burgers, sandwiches, salads. The food is good, seemingly fresh ingredients, decent portions, but nothing super special. I had a salad with shredded chicken & avocado & it was about $ 12 and filling for a light dinner. I noticed that they had a few vegetarian options which is always nice. The space is really big so I think it’d be a good place for groups or parties. They also have a nice patio so bringing your furry friend along for a weekend lunch would probably be possible. When you walk in you’re greeted by a case full of desserts, which is very tempting. If I were to come back, I’d give their sweets a try because they looked really good. If you’re ever in the area and are looking for a place with American food & lots of menu options, desserts, or beers, I’d check Bella Bru out. But I wouldn’t go out of your way to try this place.

Seriously disappointed in this place. And guess what the manager owner does not give a crap. Cause if they did, they would do something to change this place. Wanted a coffee and decided to go here again since the last time I was completely disappointed. So I go in and the little twit of a hostess is so obsessed with how cute she is can’t fathom a smile, good morning, welcome or any other greeting. I say 1 please and am ushered to a table. The waiter comes and I’ve decided to order the breakfast bagel with vegetables, bacon and cheese, and a decaf latte. The order arrives and you can see from the photos i can only locate one small corner a drop of cheese, bacon was only added after I reminded them the bacon and cheese were missing. The bagel has no moisture on it whatsoever. The thing is bland except for the onion. On top of that I was served lukewarm coffee AGAIN and it was caffeinated after I asked for decaf. I will never ever be back this place sucks.

Went during a busy time so we took whatever seating was available. The wait to be seated was only 10 min when they told us 20, but the wait for our food was around 45 min. Took a while to get checked too. It was also getting hot on the outside patio and very uncomfortable. We asked to be moved to a shadier table. Other people around us also moved to other tables. We ordered the cheesy potatoes and the two eggs that come with potatoes and toast. The cheesy potatoes didn’t come with any side. So if you like a big breakfast I suggest to order some eggs or toast to go with. The food was good, but don’t come here unless you are dining for at least an hour & half if during busy times.

Have you ever been to a restaurant where you made reservations for a particular time and then when you get there they say you’re early rudely plus you won’t have a waiter until almost 50 minutes later??? Well, that’s what happened to us a couple evenings ago. I was debating whether I should update this review and decided I should just for my own memory files plus let the public know what they are getting themselves into. We did get seated in a somewhat decent spot out on the patio. I would have hated to be standing around that I would have gone to the nearby Raley’s and killed some time. We were sitting at our table and the busboy Chris brought us some waters and even bread. Normally when I come to a restaurant for dinner I’m starving. I mean we were here for dinner right? While we were sitting, this waitress bypassed us. She in fact got other people’s orders around us who came AFTER us so you know I was fuming a bit. I’m normally a pretty patient person. Okay scratch that because people who know me wouldn’t say that but I was trying!!! Then finally after we had been there probably at least a half hour or so. She came up to us and asked if we were okay. I said would you please take our dinner order??? She did take it and ultimately I was relieved that we didn’t have to wait for our original waiter who by the way didn’t show up until one hour after we originally arrived. Can you believe that? Did the frustration show on my face??? Maybe? Be aware we were sitting out on the patio with patio umbrellas, the sun does go down and strategically we were face to face with the sun. Was I the only one with this problem or what the heck? Besides eating out on the patio, they have a live band for entertainment from seven to ten in the evening. The gal comes around to get your money for the five dollar cover charge for each person plus places a wristband on you for record that you have paid. I was debating whether to stay but because we were already there and my salad did arrive fairly quick(the only real plus that night please note)! I just caved. The dance floor does appear to be good sized but in reality it is small. If they have an awesome band you can be sure that the floor area gets packed and that it did! I was frustrated already that we only stayed for the first set. I was paranoid of insect bites that I had originally forgotten to spray my legs & arms of insect repellant. Well, guess what? I ended up with six bites on one leg alone! I think someone was trying to tell me to stop coming here from now on. You can be sure that we won’t be back for a a good stretch of time not for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The place is overrated now FASHO!

Summer is winding down and Autumn is just around the corner. My wife and I are here at Bella Bru Café this evening to have dinner and to enjoy their(Live Music On The Patio) ! One of our favorite local bands was performing here this evening(East Wind Band). Tonight’s performance was our last chance to see East Wind Band perform here at Bella Bru Café this year. Bella Bru Café is a lovely café located in the«Park Place Shopping Center“on Natomas Blvd, Sacramento, Ca. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. With their huge outdoor patio, it’s a perfect place to gather with friends and family! They have a full bar and a large indoor dining room with plenty of tables and seating for large groups. Can’t forget to mention their fabulous selection of desserts! Dinner reservations were made for 6:00pm. Coming all the way from Elk Grove, we try to give ourselves a little extra time in case of traffic delays or some kind of emergency. As usual we arrived a little early, around 5:45pm. This isn’t our first time dining here nor is it our first time listening to music here either. We usually get a phone call from Bella Bru the night before confirming our reservations. We found it odd this time no one called! When we walked up to check-in on the reservation list, our name was not to be found! That was disappointing to say the least! I assume that the person we were talking to was the outdoor patio manager. She then said that we were early and that there were no servers out in the patio until 6:30pm. Our server shift doesn’t start until 6:30pm? What !!! Your telling me that we have dinner reservations for 6:00pm out on the patio but no one there to serve you until 6:30 ! She then referred us to another young lady who was assigning seating at the time and found our name on the reservation list. So my wife and I sat and waited patiently until we notice other tables being served before us. I don’t know about my wife but I was not a happy camper! If it weren’t for your employees(Chris and Kerry) we were ready to walk out! Chris was kind enough to bring us bread and water as we waited for someone to come by to take our order. Since our waiter or waitress didn’t start until 6:30pm. Kerry(Bartender) came by our table and asked If there was anything that we needed. We told her that we were ready to order. She was happy to take our order. I had ordered the(Cobb Salad).“Applewood Bacon, Smoked Turkey, Avocado, Tomatoes, Chopped Eggs, Romain Lettuce with a Creamy Dill Dressing». A nice salad on a warm summer evening! My wife had the(Chicken Caesar Salad).“Romain Lettuce, Garlic Croutons, Parmesan Cheese, Chicken, and a house made Caesar Dressing“ Delicious! Long story short. If this was my first experience dining here on the patio at Bella Bru Café, I would have second thoughts coming back ! Having said that, my wife and I have been coming here many times without having any issues. Service and quality of food is always fantastic! We’ll just chalk this up as having a bad day! This won’t keep us from coming back! We enjoy the food, the music and the atmosphere that Bella Bru Café offer to its customers. Always remember that good food we can get anywhere but great service is what brings us back. Thank you Chris and Kerry for saving the day!

Dinner experience today was awful. The food arrived after a really long wait. Fries were old, stale and seemed like were tossed in the fryer to warm them up a bit. Poblano chicken sandwich was ok, nothing to rave about. For the kiddo, we ordered Kids Pepperoni Pizza but were served cheese pizza. We had waited so long for the food to arrive that we couldn’t wait for them to fix their error. We were given a dollar off from the total for this goof up. Water and Soda were never refilled. I waited patiently for the staff to notice the empty glasses and finally I had to request to refill soda after we had already paid the bill. Hopefully the management takes notice!

Not good! We waited an hour, yes, ANHOUR, to get an order of crab cakes and a salad! Yes, an hour! Had to say that one more time. And our waitress would only check in on us as she was passing by in a hurry. A quick, «I’m sorry, it shouldn’t be much longer.» That’s it. And get this, when our small meal showed up, the cakes were stone cold as was the steak on the salad. Come on now! No time to waste, we were here for a quick bite before the concert at the Arena. Yes, we ate it cold. And did we get a discount, a comp, or even a visit from the manager after I mentioned how long we’ve been waiting? NO! Shame on you, Bella Bru Café The cakes seemed to taste pretty good and probably are good hot, as maybe the steak is too, but Bella Bru, you get one star * for this terrible service and cold meal. You, Manager, should know and be ready for a full house on concert night. Prepare! And take care of your customers if there’s a problem. Be proactive.
