Hey, I’m updating my review to 4 stars for the takeout service and food quality.
The thin crust pizza and garlic knots are delicious. I also like their house salad. But the place is a hopping on Friday and Saturday nights for dinner. The tables are pretty close to each other. The bar area and dining area are in 1 big open room so it gets loud and crowded. I usually do provide take out vs dine in.

This place is awesome !!! My husband and I decided to check it out and we order some apps and I order a burger and fries which was so delicious as well as everything else, my husband order a small pizza and that was also delicious! Not only was the food great but the service was even better I give them a five star for sure we will def be returning (:

I love this place. All the staff were nice and the food were awesome. Penne w chicken is the best for me but my husband love the chicken Parmesan. Overall this place is one of the best by far.

I live nearby Pete’s restaurant in Natomas. It’s a great place for just hanging out with my son. He gets fresh roll of dough to play with while we are waiting for our food. In the evening the atmosphere is different and a great place to hang out with friends or just go on a date with my husband. The food choices are great! There are salads and lighter calorie options for those who are watching their calories. The service is always excellent! This is our favorite spot in Natomas so far.

I was seating very fast group of three, waiting 15 minutes server never greeted us a older couple was seated and was greater within 5 minutes we walked out probably never go back

It was a busy evening. Deana (I’m not sure if that is spelled correctly) was the hostess. She was calm, competent, polite, and accurate with her assessment of the wait time. Instead of just yelling out our name when the table was ready she came a got us, a nice touch.
Our waiter was attentive and personable. The food arrived quickly and was appropriately tasty.

Been here 3 times since my recent move to Sacramento. Definitely a great place for food, beer, games and family.

We love it here. The food is always great. The manger Kelly super friendly and helpful with anything. Only reason I didn’t give it all 5 stars it’s because the servers aren’t always the best. But overall very good food and we love the patio they have, because we able to bring our dog.

Five stars for the two times I visited.
I first visited with my wife and kids on my birthday during happy hour. They have my favorite beer on tap — Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar. It’s cheaper here during happy hour than the cheapest price at a store. They also have a full bar. Great start. The server (forgot his name, younger, skinny Latino dude) was great. Greeted us right away and was very friendly. When he came back to take our drink order, he gave my kids pizza dough. Check for this place being kid friendly lol. I ordered the 14 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We ordered the pepperoni pizza for my youngest, kids burger for my middle, chicken tenders for my eldest, and my wife ordered the shrimp linguini. The steak was perfect and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were hella good too. The pizza was great. Sauce was really flavorful, the dough was perfect, and the cheese was fresh. The burger and tenders were also good; big portions for all. The pasta was amazing. It was a white sauce, not overwhelmingly creamy, just right. Amazing birthday experience.
Second time, I visited with my fam and two friends, along with their dog. We sat in the patio. It has patio couches along the restaurant and tables with umbrellas, at least six. They also had a small play area for kids. My kids ordered the same since they all loved their food the last time. I ordered the Italian sandwich (forgot the exact name), my wife ordered the same pasta, and my friends ordered the combo pizza. Food was amazing again and our server (forgot her name, Latina girl with braces) was great and accommodating.
This is now my family’s go-​to spot instead of BJ’s because it’s smaller, the food is better, the drinks are cheaper, and compared to our experiences at the San Bruno and Roseville locations of BJ’s (we were regulars for years), the customer service is hands-​down better at Pete’s.

MINUS a star for Veterans Day. Nothing at all offered. Like most places in Cali, no regular military discount either, but damn, no Vets Day deal?

Fantastic food and wonderful service. The outdoor area is great for our little guy to run around. Started off with the seared ahi and knots, shoulda doubled up on the knots. I then ordered the California Burger was great and added bacon which made it even better as bacon always does. My wife had the chicken sandwich, she said it was good, it must have been cuz I didn’t get a bite. Love that they offer Track 7. I do want to go back and try the pizza there. Pizza and beer sounds good right about now.

We ate there last night and Nichole was our server. Very sweet person! Made my family feel very welcomed. Was very sweet to my children! Took the time to talk to them when they had questions.
I love they are family friendly! I love their pizza! Can’t say there isn’t any of the food I tried I didn’t like!

Updating to ⁵⁄₅ because they are consistent with excellent service and everything I have tried has been great! The knots are to die for!

I’ll give them one star for the food which was good and one star for comping my meal.
So it’s lunch time and I see that Pete’s has an awesome deal. For $ 5 you get a slice of pizza, a side of caesar salad, and a delicious cinnamon roll thing. I work just about a mile away and leave around 11. I decide to sit outside because they have a nice outdoor area with comfy couches. The place is not busy at all, maybe 7 other people. There was a little confusion as to who was taking my order but no big deal. Time goes by and I start wondering how long it takes to warm up a slice of pizza and throw a caesar salad together. I figured I got there around 11:10 and if my food comes out by 11:30 I should be able to eat and make it back before my hour lunch break is over. Well it’s 11:40 and still no food. The waitress was very apologetic and gave me my meal on the house which was nice.
I’ll be back since the food was good, will just call ahead next time.

I’ve been slacking on giving reviews lately, but feel that this one is desperately needed. My group of 3 showed up at 10pm last weekend (they close at 11pm) and were greeted when we walked in and seated. We opted to sit outside, since it was a nice night. The server was pretty cool and attentive, but the food was just okay.
We ordered the sweet potato fries and knots for an appetizer, which were good. For the main course we ordered the Italian pizza because the pizzas were half off. One type of meat on it tasted like Windex or some kind of cleaner. I picked that particular meat off and ate the pizza because I was hungry and I’m not too hard to please. My girlfriend opted to not eat any after taking a few bites.
Now my HUGE issue is the cockroaches. I know we were sitting outside, but the floor literally was crawling with them. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I counted over 15 of them before we decided to leave. Also I took note that they have a conditional pass from the health department… when you couple that with the cockroaches it really makes you wonder.
I would give them 1 star, but the service was decent, so I gave them 2. I’d steer clear though until HUGE changes are made. The thing with cockroaches is if you see a few there are WAY more around that you can’t see, so if I saw over 15 just imagine how many there really are.

I enjoy the ambiance every time I come here. Happy hour specials are always nice and you can always catch the game here… unless it is crowded of course, in which the staff will try to get you in as much as they could.
My favorite time to come is Tuesday nights at 7pm for Trivia Night. Anyone can join for good prizes.
Pizza there is the main thing but the chicken parmesan is amaze-​balls!!! They make good steaks too.
Must have appetizers are the garlic fries, sweet and spicy wings and the garlic knots!
So far I have not experienced bad service. Only good times with the staff. Just keep in mind if you have a groupon, you cannot take advantage of the happy hour specials — even if you want to split them on different checks. You have to choose one or the other at your table.

I was real excited to try this place. We finally got the chance to try it on a Friday night and was hoping for a great dinner after a long work week. We ended being very very disappointed.
When we walked in, we were greeted right away and only had to wait less than 10 minutes. The table they seated is close to the front check in and it gets slightly crowded when you are eating and customers are almost standing over you watching you eat.
Our waitress was really nice and I’m giving her the star for her good service. She was friendly, gave recommendations, and was quick and efficient. I apologize but forgot her name but she had short hair!
As for the food, we started out with the deep fried artichokes hearts as an app but it was slightly too tangy and it came with a bowl of melted butter. As I was eating it, I was getting tired of the batter flavor.
I should of ordered the calamari!
We ordered a medium pizza: half combination and half Petes garlic! We ordered the pizza in thin crust as well. The pizza was nothing to be excited about and the crust wasn’t even that thin! The ingredients were okay but didn’t seem fresh. Also, when my lady took a slice out, everything came off! The pizza almost tasted like a frozen pizza. Mountain mikes, round table, and village bakery is much better.
We also ordered an all American burger and garlic fries. The burger was decent… Nothing out of the ordinary. The garlic fries had too much oil in it.
The noise level is high and I couldn’t even hear my lady speak.
Overall, I probably will not return… I feel like the amount of money I spent here, I could have had a better meal.

We came here for a birthday party last week and rented out the private room.
The set up was nice with 3 long dining tables and the food in the corner.
We had two waitresses who were nice and very attentive.
The food was about on par with Olive Garden.
If I could have I would have given 3.5 stars. Overall, it was a fun experience.

SITREP
My colleagues and I are getting ready to launch into 5-​week training-​cycle, but we have been running out of time, because of the various demands on us with other projects during the work week, to have some extra time to decompress.
Several of them live in Natomas, and have spoke of their love for Pete’s food and brews which is near where they live. So TODAY, those of us who live downtown decided to join our teammates in their Natomas Lair.
THE SETUP
Located in a reverse-​sited strip mall that is obscured by a large gym as you are traveling East down Gateway Park Blvd, it’s definitely not in the most intuitively easy place to see. But once you drive around towards the back parking, you will find the restaurant. [And some probably like this more «secluded» aspect of access.]
THE MENU
Lots of great stuff here!
* I was jone’sin for the Sicilian Meatball Sandwich, ever since I caught eye of it on fellow Elite — and our esteemed Queen — Devo’s pictures on Unilocal of her Husband’s sammich and I just had to have one! It was indeed so very good! ($ 10.95)
* Staci got the Mushroom & Pepperoni Pizza and she was QUITE pleased with her acquisition of this tasty pie!
* We also got a full order ($ 4.95) of some pretty delicious Cheese Garlic Bread!
* The Deep-​Fried Artichoke Hearts were a very tasty departure from the norm and quite good either in butter, tomato sauce OR my blue cheese dressing!
* And then the Deep-​Fried Cheese Ravioli were exquisitely crispy on the outside, and tender yummy on the inside — again, it didn’t matter what sauce we used on these puppies, it came up good with whatever!
THE BREWS AND THE BAR
A huge selection! I enjoyed my pint of SHOCK TOP with a wheaty flavor, and a citrusy aftertaste. It was perfect with my Meatball sandwich.
We were also near the bar and it looked like an absolutely fab place to come watch a game. The bartender was particularly friendly — as was the two young ladies who served us the whole time — and the bar set-​up looked very comfy for about the 10 people seated at the counter-​top, watching the TV.
THE LOWDOWN
Definitely a great place to come for great food, refreshing brews, and a «space» that is nice to decompress in as a group.

I love this place. Have been coming here for happy hour or have a few drinks and appetizers with friends this past year. We’ve been here on the weekends, weeknights, it’s almost always busy, not in a bad way. There’s families, couples, big groups, small groups; it’s all good times. I almost always have to order a pizza when I’m here, usually for happy hour, they’re really great deals; 2 topping, small pizza and it’s super filling. It’s not a personal size, it’s enough to share with a couple of people.
Service is a hit or miss, but everyone is usually friendly. I have yet had any complaints about anyone there. I also like that they have 805 on tap, which you don’t find too often up in Nor Cal. Their wings are pretty good, the knots aren’t too bad, salads are good also. The only thing I haven’t tried are the pastas.
Nice place to catch a game or chill out with a drink and food that won’t disappoint. If you’re impatient or short on time, I don’t recommend this place.
