This place has to have the worst employees ever. Today my husband and I had the worst most embarrassing experience ever due to the employees at this location. My husband and I decided to take a trip to mall this morning. After leaving the mall I decided to get my nails and feet done. So my wonderful husband decided he would wait for me while I got pampered. Now the place I was getting serviced was next door this location. So my husband is sitting in the car minding his own business and all of a sudden out of know where here comes 3 car loads of Sheriff’s officer’s asking my husband why is he sitting in the parking lot. He says my wife is getting her feet done in the nail salon. The officer proceeds to tell my husband that we have received a call from this business stating that there was man fitting his description this license plate number with suspicious activity. My husband said officer all I’m doing is sitting here waiting for my wife. See the problem wasn’t that he was sitting in the car waiting for me. The problem was that he was a BLACK man sitting in the car waiting. So then the officer proceeds to come into the nail salon and ask my name. Are you kidding me? I’m like officer what is this about? He say we got a call from the employees at this location about a man sitting. I said yes my husband is waiting for me. I’m embarrassed and pissed all at the same time. When did it become ok to start profiling people? And when did it become ok to start calling the police because a black man is just sitting minding his own damn business? And then when I asked the lady why would they do something like that? Her piss poor excuse was «oh we have had incidents before». What the hell does your incidents have to do with my husband sitting in the parking lot waiting for me? Nothing at all!!! This location needs to know that not all black men want to rob and steal. Now I have lots of friends and family members that work in the hair industry and I will sure to tell them to never visit this location. If they do this to people sitting in the parking lot lot I can only imagine how they treat you when you go in. But then again I guessed it’s based on the color of your skin… I will make sure I post this experience on all of my social media pages. And seeing that my son is a Broadway performer I will make sure he shares this with all of his friends across the world…

the manager at the Howe Ave location is RUDE!!! No customer service skills whatsoever, she treats her staff and customers like crap! She has a major chip on her shoulder, not sure why because she is nothing!

I’m an esthetician and they have almost no supplies with the exception of wax. You are lucky if you get greeted here. No my favorite location

Very rude people, both staffs were not helpful and when I was leaving they shook their head and started laughing. i will never go back…

Rude staff. They were closing but people were clearly still shopping and checking out. I asked to check a price only. I didn’t ask them to do a thing just wanted to walk over and look at a tag and was told uh no. I usually don’t shop at this location and I won’t in the future.

What happened to Erika? She was so friendly. The blonde older lady with shoulder length hair could use a serious attitude adjustment. Not only was she so rude, but she was watching everyone shopping as though every person in the store was a thief. I also don’t appreciate being practically followed around the store like a shoplifter. She was so unpleasant I’ll probably never go back to this location. The Alhambra girls are so much nicer.

The lady with the blonde hair was downright rude and unhelpful. First off, she wouldn’t stop restocking the shelves with Rusk products when she saw me trying to look at the section. She was in my way and did not even acknowledge me when I was standing right next to her. She just looked unhappy to be there. It won’t hurt to smile sometime! I asked her some questions about my hair and she did not say one word that was helpful. All that came out was negativity and a bad attitude. Don’t get me wrong I can handle direct criticism but this lady is out of control. It seems as if she had no knowledge about the product line either. The worse customer service ever at Cosmoprof! But the girl at the register named Shelby was very nice and friendly on the plus side.

Everytime I go here from the second I walk through the doors, I feel like I’m ruining someone’s day. Sorry to interrupt your ladies gossip because I need to check out. The workers here aren’t friendly and don’t seem to have any customer service. «How dare you shop here attitude» is getting old. I always waste my time going to this location because they are always out of stock. When I received a voicemail from them telling me my product was in stock the message sounded like a threat stating they will hold it up to 48. (Or I’m sol) blech, too much attitude at this location.

This place has a ton of stuff — they carry many good bands too. It is also super organized. My only complaints are that they are unenthusiastic about helping you and their impatience is outwardly apparent if you are in there for even a minute after closing.
The woman working behind the counter just shouted responses back to me instead out walking out from behind the counter and into the isle and helping to me. Then after they closed, and we were finishing-​up, this eerie essence of irritation and impatience filled the store — clicking of fingernails, closing of lights, loud sighs and pacing.
I have worked retail, I know what it is like BUT sometimes your business and clients are more important than leaving work at exactly closing. Giving a customer five, peaceful minutes might be the deciding factor for their return. As a result, I bought only one nail polish. I will try Cosmoprof one more time to see if it was a fluke incident.

Love this Cosmoprof! Erika is So Helpful! They always know what is on sale and how to give me more for my money. Very Knowledgeable about all their product lines and have more stock than most other stores. Always clean and easy to find things, Very Friendly!!!

I been coming to this store for over 15 yrs… All the ladies in there are so helpful. If I’m ever in need of any help on color corrections… They also seem to have an answers. Unlike some other stores.
They’re all License cosmetology. If I ever need to return products. They never give me a hard time. Always nice and upbeat. Clean store. I’m there almost every week.
