Awesome authentic Italian food! Love all the gelato flavors and the owner makes those herself as well! :)

An Italian native who is an expert in making Gelato and who also has great authentic Italian coffee and food? This place is excellent and I absolutely love the food I have had. The owner is sweet too and loves to share her Italian culture. I have taken several friends all of whom have been impressed. You gotta go!

Stopped by after brunch when my curiosity got the best of me. I was full but could not resist their selection. The staff is very friendly! The gelato is absolutely amazing! The best so far I have tasted in sac! The chocolate croissant is delicious as well. It practically melts in your mouth. Didn’t care for the cannoli. It was very cold, hard, and bland. Not sure if that’s how they’re supposed to taste, but I wouldn’t get it again. I also noticed a large wine selection that I would love the come back and try.

The gelato! Ferraro Rocher was very good and apparently the customer favorite. The hazelnut though is otherworldly. It is so smooth and creamy, so pure of flavor and texture it’s is just luscious. Certainly as good as any gelato you have had in the US.

I love their gelato. So rich and creamy. The flavors are all great especially the opera. I will be coming back even though I don’t like driving down town. I will now just for this gelato. The staff is friendly and give you samples to try. They also have a good lunch selection I would like to try out. Definitely worth the calories!

The food and gelato are really great here. I eat lunch outside with my dog whenever it is warm enough. They have lunch specials which include a drink and small gelato for under $ 10. I love the pastas, pizzas, and paninis. The menu seems to change fairly regularly which keeps my visits unique. Best of all I love the service these guys provide. For instance, I hate uncooked tomatoes and usually feed them to my dog, however they noticed I was picking them off and came to ask if everything was alright. Their attentiveness makes you feel very welcome and taken care of. In the end, my dog enjoyed the tomatoes as her treat for begging so hard while I ate.

My fiancée and I have been all over the bay area and Sacramento searching for a bite of ice cream or gelato that surpasses Devine’s, which has led us to Eatuscany. A lot of reviews have stated that the gelato here is better than Devine’s but we have to wholeheartedly disagree. Devine’s has a perfect balance of sweetness, vibrant flavor, silky texture – all of which I find Eatuscany just can’t quite match. I found it much too sweet; the two of us struggled to finish a large together because of the cloying sweetness. The flavors not as distinct; I had to do an A-B comparison to figure which flavor was which. To top it off, the variety was lacking. I haven’t tried their other menu items, so perhaps it is worth coming here for lunch. A customer behind us was raving about what he had for lunch.

I agree with the previous reviewer that this gelato is better than Devine,(although I will not update their review since they have so many choices). This café is small but clean and offers some pastries, coffee, gelato, and lunch Italian food. Based soley on the gelato it is creamy and amazing. The service was friendly and the young woman gave us samples. I was eyeballing the Italian coffee but didn’t have any since it was late at night and I would have been awake. I had the pistachio and the crème brûlée like Opera flavor.

Nothing I can say that other’s haven’t said already — the gelato is really freakin’ good. They have more interesting, unique flavors compared to your average gelateria, and they’re all really rich and creamy, super flavorful, and topped with a cookie if you want one! We had some of their specialty flavors and I gotta say I loved the Eatsucany flavor, which was ricotta based with figs in it. Prices are pretty standard as far gelatos go, I think my medium cup was $ 5.50, and I got to choose 3 flavors. I shared it with my fiancé and we were both pretty satisfied after eating it. I saw that they have a bunch of other savory food items, wine, espresso drinks and other desserts on the menu — it is a café after all! I didn’t get to try anything but the gelato, but will definitely be back!

I love Eatuscany! I could not wait for this place to finally open. Such a cute little Italian café. I work a few doors down, so sometimes I’ll treat myself to some gelato or a panini. I highly recommend trying their Lucca panini on ciabatta bread. All the meats and cheese on it goes really well together. I also like the mini pizzas they have started to sell! They make them fresh and bake them as soon as you order one. Even though their gelato selection is small(compared to Divine down the street), it’s really refreshing and tastes authentic. I can’t compare it to Divine’s gelato. Customer service is great. It’s a family owned business, and all of them are really friendly!

Honestly. This is everything I want in a café. Italian food that is faaaantastic, perfect gelato in an array of inferring flavors, and décor that is inviting and makes you want to stay. The owners are real Italians! And they know what they are doing! I ordered the pollaio panini and it was perfection. The focaccia bread was perfectly crispy, the chicken was very juicy, and the pesto sauce added the perfect amount of flavor. It was so good, my friends and I considered coming back for brunch. And we totally would have if we hadn’t already made previous plans that interfered. Oh well, next time. After finishing my HUGE panini I ordered a small gelato. So so so good! I got the ferrero rocher(tastes exactly like the candy because it is made from real ferrero rochers!!!), biscotti(also made with real biscotti), & pistachio. The girl who was helping us was extremely nice and understood my indecisive nature and let me have three flavors in my small cup! Honestly, props to her, she had great customer service and didn’t judge us for wanting to try all the flavors. Bottom line, I will definitely be returning and making this my go to gelato spot!

Their apple pie gelato and affogato(expresso with a scoop of gelato) is the best here!!! Finally, a cute little Italian spot in midtown Sacramento. I am definitely coming back to try other things in the menu. Also, the staff here are very friendly and inviting! It’s a small little place(only 2 – 3 tables inside) but they do have a few more tables and chairs outside. The young lady with black hair needs to smile more though that is usually running the register :/.

While I can’t speak for the food just yet, I can go on and on about how phenomenal the gelato is here! Easily comparable to Devine in quality with a creaminess that actually outdoes their neighbor by a small margin. The staff was so friendly and helpful, being more than willing to offer samples of flavors until I found the ones I liked most. While they were all derricious, I distinctly remember the pistachio and how…“pistachio-y” it tasted. So unbelievably true to its name and such robust nutty flavor. Unlike Devine, I really appreciated the flexibility with each serving size as you’re welcome to request as many flavors as they can cram in regardless of whether it’s small, medium or large. Such a wonderful new gem in Midtown, just a matter of time until I’m back again.

A few weeks ago we were next door at Ginger Elizabeth’s and saw this new café opening up soon. Today we had the opportunity to come and check it out. We came right at opening at 11:00 and had the whole place to ourselves. Let’s start with bad news first: service was meh. The chef in the back welcomed us when we walked in, but not the girl standing at the register. I don’t think I saw her smile once when we were there. She questioned me when I wanted water with my pasta of the day combo. And she failed to explain what the«Eatuscany» gelato flavor was when an innocent customer asked her what it was…(«What’s this flavor?» «It’s Eatuscany.» «Right…but what IS it.») I just get really bothered by lackluster service. You don’t have to ask me about my life but at least smile… and don’t make me feel judged or stupid. Anyway, the good news: the food was GREAT. I had their pasta of the day, which was pasta carbonara. I don’t normally order pasta when we go out since we usually cook that home often. but the caramelized onions and pancetta sold me. It was rich and tasty. I don’t think the pasta was homemade but the flavors were all there. I tasted my boyfriend’s meatball sandwich and it was melt-in-your-mouth good. Not one of those paninis with the bread that scrapes the roof of your mouth either. We ended our meal with Ferrero Rocher gelato. It was creamy and tasted exactly like a cup of Ferrero Rocher gelato should. The scoops are pricey, as most gelato spots are, so I’d recommend going with their combo meals; you get a drink, entrée, and gelato!

Holy guacamole! I always thought gelato was the frou-frou, overpriced version of ice cream but Eatuscany’s gets it right. Although a medium cup of gelato comes out to about $ 5, Eatuscany’s is taste-tester friendly and will give you as many baby spoons necessary to sample their flavor inventory and hone in on a decision. Unilocalers were raving about the Ferrero so that’s what we settled on. I think the best way to describe it is to imagine melting 5 Ferrero Rocher candy balls together and then refreezing that creamy blend of nuts and chocolate into gelato form. First impressions can be deceiving but it’s as good as it sounds – we inhaled our Ferrero in less than 5 minutes. They even top off each gelato scoop with a cookie! They sell sandwiches and paninis here too which I didn’t get an opportunity to try, but the gelato alone is enough for Eatuscany to hold its ground on L street. At last, I no longer have to settle for Yogurtagogo anymore!

Came here because I saw it on my Unilocal feed that he came to try this place out and the pictures looked amazing. Right next to wrap and roll in downtown/midtown. First look, it looks very nice. Small, white. Menu at the top. Gelato to the left. White table tops with white stools. Water(self serve) by the entrance. Patio seating with custom design of the Italy flag colors. There’s a ton of food variety like gelato(dessert), antipasta, pasta, panini, pizza, dolci, and vino. What I ordered: the eatuscany and ferrero Roche gelato. And the Lucca panini with an ice tea. What it tasted like: love the gelato. So good. I can definitely Come back and get it again. The panini, eh, it was ok. It took a while to come out. The bread was extra toasted, every time I bit into it, it broke apart. It’s like the hard bread that hurt at the roof of your mouth every time you bite into it. And crumbs everywhere. It honestly just tasted like a ham and turkey sandwich. Service was great, gelato was great and I’m sure there are other great items to try. So I’ll definitely be back. It’s worth another try. 3 for my panini, 5 for the gelato and service. Just the atmosphere and the location was great. But 4 overall we’ll see when I come back to try something else. Ps, the building is 1801 and L but because it’s building 80 it’s closer to 19th and L.

I only had the gelato here. Yes, I was one of «those» who taste-tested very many flavors. They were all pretty delicious but I ended up getting the small cup of ½ ferrero rocher and pistachio! They have one that’s called Eatuscany, which is a ricotta-based gelato and that was pretty good too! Very creamy! The small with the half flavors was about $ 4.50, which is a tiny bit on the pricey side. The place is small but very cutely designed, nice and bright. Their food looks great — I’d love to come back to try some. They also have combo meals which allows for ½ sandwich, drink and gelato for $ 11! that’s a good deal! I will be back for sure!

I noticed this little caffe finally opened while I was dining across the street at the new Broderick’s location. Located between Wrap n’ Roll and Yogurtagogo. Cute, chic spot that offers vino, salads, antipasti, sandwiches, pizza, and GELATO. I keep my radar open for Gelato Spots for dessert options after lunch/dinner. The gelato offerings were typical in flavor. I ordered the Caffe in a cone. Which is basically coffee gelato. The chocolate chips and sauce on top of the gelato were decorative and I didn’t find any in my cone :(The husband had the Ferrer Rocher and enjoyed every bite. A cone and a medium size option was $ 5.50 each. Kinda steep for gelato. I definitely have to come back and try the food! PS. Super clean bathroom! And the tables outside are reserved for Eattuscany patrons only. There is inside seats as well.

The gelato caught my friends attention and I was in serious need of an espresso before heading home to the East Bay so we decided to check it out. I walked in and all of a sudden I felt like I wasn’t in Sacramento anymore. There was a family eating inside speaking Italian, the owners are from Italy, and I was having flashbacks from my trip to Italy. Authentic Italian in Sac?! really cool and great addition to the neighborhood. This place serves coffee, soups, salads, pasta, panninis, various pastries, and of course house-made gelato. Cute and simple décor inside and there are a couple of outside tables. My espresso was good and my friends could not stop talking about how good their gelato was. There was a good silent 5 min where no one talked to me because they were having a foodgasm. I can’t wait to come back and try some of their food items. Thanks for the friendly service and welcome to Midtown Eatuscany!
