TO THREAD OR NOT TO THREAD: I started getting my eyebrows threaded a few years ago and it seems to be getting more popular these days. I prefer it over waxing because you get a better eyebrow shape, it’s faster, and there’s less irritation (ladies — have you ever had a bad reaction to wax? You know what I’m talking about!). If you haven’t tried the new threading craze, I suggest you give it a thread!
WHY I CHOSE THIS LOCATION: There are several locations that thread in the Sac area. I chose this one because of its convenience, and because I could save a trip to the mall (avoiding tough parking and the temptation to shop). There is easy parking in the lot next to this place and I love that there is never a wait.
THE DEALS (OR NOT): They have a deal where you can pay for a few months at a time and you can go in as often as you want. Sounds awesome, right? Well, they take down all your information, including your driver’s license number. They give you a neon green card to bring in with you. Well, being as I have too many cards and can’t keep them straight, I forgot to bring it one time. So, I was already there and figured it wouldn’t be a big deal (like Pure Beauty, where there, if you forget your card, they’ll look you up in the system). Well, turns out it is a big deal at Eyebrow Plus. No neon green card = no deal for you! I had been coming in for months and every 2 weeks and it was the same girl every time, so she knew I had the card, but she wouldn’t give me a break. My bad for forgetting the card, but it would have been nice if she’d cut me some slack!

I’ve got my eyebrows done here 3 times. The first 2 times I LOVED. I love getting them threaded instead of waxed! But I got them done today and I told her not to do it too thin… they came out too thin. I’ve never had eyebrows this thin before!!! :(And they also raised the price. It used to be $ 12 and now it’s $ 15. I think $ 15 is a bit high… I might have to look somewhere else. They also have membership packages. $ 40 for 3 months, unlimited threading. But maybe they raised the price for that too.
