My husband: This gym is great! I usually go to the 5am class, sometimes 6, Monday and Wednesday’s. Josh and Erica are dedicated at teaching and helping me to achieve a higher level of fitness and skills. Erica is a beast! Don’t underestimate her capabilities as an instructor just because she’s a female. I’ve got the bruises to prove it! As for myself: I went to one, AM session, and loved it. Overall good experience. I was so sore for about three days afterwards, haha. Unfortunately I don’t have the time within my schedule or babysitters to be able to attend often. My husband who has some military related competitions coming up, uses this gym to help him train. We both recommend this place.

I’ve been going to Jaguar Muay Thai for a few months now and I can’t say enough good things. Josh, the main instructor is awesome. He’s patient and gives one on one attention very often. I came with the goal to get in shape and I have far exceeded my expectations. The one hour classes are tough but they go by so fast. With how active and engaged Josh keeps you, you quickly realize you’ve just busted out an hour(or two hour) long work out! I’ll be a long time member and highly recommend Jaguar Muay Thai to anyone looking to get in shape or even learn a little self defense.

Have been looking to train in Muay Thai for a few years now thanks to Anderson Silva of UFC. Came to know about this studio in Natomas thanks to my friend on Facebook and have worked out 2 days and really love it. The workouts are pretty intensive and my t shirt was drenched my own sweat yesterday! Josh and Erica are great teachers and look forward to be training here for a long time!

Month-to-month membership. No contract. No dues. Okay, so I tried it, why not. Ive never kicked a soccer ball and never into any martial arts. Just wanting to loose that pregnancy weight and hey, with their location half a mile from the house, there is no excuse. Came in to just ask, and Josh was very friendly. He explained what Muay Thai is, and asked what my goal was. Heck, I’m not going into competition or kill someone, so I told him weight loss. The fact that he is also a personal trainer nailed it for me. And so Day 1 came, it was weird Saturday, and no one else was there. Good in a sense it was a personalized attention; bad coz it was tough and rough. Then I did my first kick. Lame, but a kick. Then I came in for Day 2 Tuesday, and it was packed, sweaty and hand to hand, with more kicks and punches. Saw all those hard-core Muay Thai dudes with power punches. Even the ladies whacks the pads. Oh my g. What did I get into? But hey, its my 3rd month. I fit into my pants and I am stronger. Josh is one heck of a personal trainer, a great teacher and wonderful motivator. He watches you like a hawk so whenever I had long water breaks, he comes after you. He works your weaknesses by giving you step-by-step instructions. Swear he was a zen master/teacher in his past life. Come Saturdays, I think its still bring a friend day so its free. Mention Unilocal so you can be my friend haha
