In-N-Out Burger

I eat out for lunch everyday so that means I eat at many In-​N-​Outs as I run around. Normally the fine cheeseburger you get at one location with be exactly the same at the next location. That was kind of the case today. I say kind of because they really loaded on the «animal» extras this time. Especially the grilled onions! Damn it was good! I am going to ask from now on for a double dose of animal style. I’ll report back if they will make one that way

This particular in n out on del paso is excellent. I eat here too often. The drive thru moves quickly, compared to other in n out locations. They’ve been perfect with my order, and I like to customize. 5 star burgers and service.

What’s not to like? The staff here are also very customer friendly and always great! I always get ANIMAL STYLE EVERYTHING!!!

There’s something about In & Out that I love, it’s really the only fast food I ever crave; it’s probably because it’s the only one that doesn’t make me a dumpster after I eat it. I love me a double double with grilled onions and OMG the milkshakes are to die for, Neapolitan especially (shhhh it’s from the secret menu). It’s also the only fast food place i wouldn’t be completely offended if I was taken there as part of a date. It’s quick, dependable, super friendly, good quality and very affordable. I love having this place in my neighborhood, actually it’s kind of a love hate relationship… Get yourself a good old fashioned burger, enjoy there or take it on your journey, this place has super easy access from interstate 5!

Food is great however, it took 32 minutes to go through the drive thru. Ridiculous! Staff was friendly, that’s it. Won’t be going back, the whole point of a drive thru is to get your order fast.

Best In-​N-​Out I’ve been to!
I assumed that being right off the freeway, this location would be busy and chaotic during lunch. I arrived a little after noon, all the tables were clean and drive thru was not insane. There was no line and there were 3 staff members at the counter. Two were training and the trainer was patiently walking them through the order process. Usually, I don’t like being a guinea pig, especially when I’m hangry, but the trainer was nice and patient with her trainees that I wanted to help make sure they were instructed properly. At the end of my transaction, the trainer told one of the staff members that since he touched his hair during the transaction, that he needed to wash his hands prior to handling any food. I usually notice these kinds of things, but I didn’t and thought it was great that she did. I heard the hand-​washing instructions echoed numerous times while I was eating. I REALLY appreciated this.
While I was waiting for my food, I was approached by two staff members asking how my day was and if I needed anything. I also noticed two staff members whose only job was the clean and straighten up the eating area. The drink station is usually a huge mess during rush times, but this station was spotless! I wish I could have taken a pic.
My food came out in record time. While I was eating, one staff member asked me if I wanted a drink re-​fill. I had no idea they did this. Since I was eating alone and didn’t want to leave my food unattended, I was really grateful for this.
Lastly, as soon as I got up to throw out my trash, the same staff member came up and took my tray and cleaned the area right away.
All told, my entire visit was around 30 minutes. That’s the fastest meal I have ever had at an In-​N-​Out. Talk about efficiency and great teamwork.
Kudos to management and staff! Please keep up the great work.

Always great. An American Classic.
Every time we land in Sacramento it is our first stop. I’m usually good with a straight up double-​double. I know everyone loves all the animal-​style and secret menu yummies, but I still think that the simplicity is the key to the greatness. Crisp and fresh, the burgers and fries are just right.

In-​N-​Out is always good, but this place has really good staff that seem to take extra care in their work… especially Adrian who took our order. He was so friendly and helpful. If you happen to travel via Sacramento airport, definitely recommend this as a pit stop.

As expected, awesome In N Out with outstanding food. This location is a bit off of the beaten path but makes a lot of sense if you are headed to the airport or a Sacramento Kings game. Overall, the service is solid, drive thru is prompt and the product is great tasting.

This was my first time at an In-​N-​Out. I was expecting something amazing given the devotion so many of my west coast friends have to this place. Preparing to be skewered — I didn’t love it. Everything was fine but nothing was great. Well, the server was friendly and everything was clean. But the food — nothing more memorable than any other burger joint. Sorry, friends — you weren’t able to convert me.

This location has a super fast drive through and ALWAYS friendly staff. As is true with most In-​N-​Out Burgers: the food is on point!

Great location. Always plenty of parking and space to sit. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Who doesn’t love in n out? It’s impossible to dislike.

This is the In-​n-​Out location in North Natomas off Del Paso Rd. It is very similar to other locations with the same excellent menu, however this one is very convenient for people attending events at Sleep Train Arena. You will not find a better deal to feed the car before heading to a Kings game!

Second-​best burgers chain in California (See: Super Duper Burger), but people make a good point… In-​N-​Out fries are «meh» at the end of the day.
And ever since I realized that Super Duper has boozy milkshakes I can’t be bothered with the standard ones elsewhere.
Still a delicious cheap dinner. But four stars because of location and alcohol-​free milkshakes. :-)

It’s OK. I like the burgers from five guys better. The fries are not that great. I like fries from places like Checkers and five guys. I did not know about the amount of cheese in the double double. It was way too salty, all I could taste was the cheese.
On a good note… They have a guy working there that sounds a lot like the guy from the workaholics show, and the man-​ny from modern family. The actor is Adam deVine.

Ample parking, classic In-​n-​Out décor, delicious burgers, quicker than average service for an In-​n-​Out, and oh so good done animal style, double meat, fries well…
Sadly fries well done still don’t match up to fries from McDonalds, but hell, who’s complaining?

Neapolitain Shake! This location is always busy! fast service and the drive thru line is a sharp turn in.
Burger is good over other fast food places. Clean and it’s right on a corner of Del Paso that you cannot miss

A second chance redeemed this place for me!
So I’m visiting my long distance boyfriend in Sacramento and he swears to me that I have to try In and Out Burger! So as soon as he picks me up from the airport on ⁵⁄₂₃ we went straight there and I was starving! So he orders me a regular burger, fries, and I got a lemonade! Uhhhhh I was like really this is the big uproar you were giving me. #FAIL lol
This was the healthiest burger I have ever had. I forgot I was on the west coast and healthy is the rage. They don’t do bacon on burgers! huh, what, why! Clearly my east coast is coming out at this point. The fries are blah, plain shoestring fries that I have to add salt and douse in ketchup. The lemonade was so lite, needed sugar! Overall my first experience was ehhhh!

On the day I was leaving to head to the airport (⁵⁄₂₈) the boo wanted to redeem in and out with one more try after he realized what needed to happen for me to fall in love! UHHHHH ANIMAL STYLE double double! Why didn’t I do that in the first place! AWESOMENESS! I’m not a big fan of onions or thousand island salad dressing but they cook the onions into the burger meat and top it off with the regular toppings and thousand island dressing! And they do the same for the fries, by melting cheese and adding cooked onions and thousand island dressing! I also got a chocolate milkshake which was the best compliment to this meal. I eat pretty health on a regular but if I am going to do fast food it’s got to be worth it and oh yeah the second time around was worth it! Great way to get on a plane full and satisfied, even though I was sad to leave my man.
Definitely will be a regular when I am on the west coast!

Background — My wife was not feeling well and just wanted something quick and was doing a test run the airport so my wife knew the way.
Atmosphere — Another cookie cutter layout with the retro feel. The walls and counters are done in whites and reds. Not too busy for 5 but the crowd was already filling in.

Main Course — I went with my classic, the number 2 animal style for the cheese burger. I do not care for the fries that way. The grilled diced onions are what makes the animal style so worth it with that sauce. If you prefer no sauce, just asked for the grilled onions or better yet ask for a whole grilled onion slice. That is probably my favorite behind animal style.
