I used to dine here back when it was originally called Crazy Tacos and featured an All-​You-​Can Eat buffet for seven dollars. It was a good decision for them to nix the buffet and stick to a more standardized menu. Whenever I’m shopping in the neighborhood, I’ll drop by La Cabana. The exterior does look like kinda drab but La Cabana does have standard Mexican food at inexpensive prices.

Just went here to eat with my husband & 2 kids. It’s like cafeteria style where you stand at a counter to order your food, pay, and then seat yourself. We ordered off the very small menu, waited a short time for our food and got served some really bad «bar food». Plus for an added bonus at right around 6:00pm they turned the music on which consisted of REALLY loud, bad rap with all kinds of F-​bombs. I’m no prude but I thought it was a little early for offensive dance music. I definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone with kids or the need to eat good food!

I must say that I didn’t expect the food to be that good, I really liked the tacos and surprisingly fresh oyseters on the half shell were very good. The owner is super friendly and we actually ended up staying for the late night karaokee and DJ, Definitely would come back and have tacos again.

I stopped by with a friend on a Saturday night and I was surprised at what I saw. There was a live (Mexican) band playing on stage. Lots of people dancing on the floor and the bartenders are very friendly. They also sell food good Mexican food for reasonable prices.

A great place to have tacos. I go there every Sunday, good quality food and tastes just like home. All in all a great place to eat and hang out the service is great and food is just as good.

This place is definitely a dig. The music is way too loud for dinner, and the pozole I had was ok, but the hominy was over-​cooked. Many other options for good Mexican food in Sac — I’m not coming back…
