Mercy Pharmacy

The best pharmacy in Sacramento. The people who work there, like Donna, Alex and others whose names I can’t recall, are super nice. They are always accommodating and always look for ways you can get discounts on meds. Everyone there is also very knowledgeable about medications. I know that it’s a pharmacy and it’s their job, but some places like Rite-​Aid or Walgreens are very impersonal and harried. Been coming here for almost a year and really love it.
Also, the previous reviewer who had the need to talk shit about about Donna is clearly holding some kind of unwarranted grudge. It’s a pharmacy; no need to talk about plastic surgery. It’s irrelevant and insulting. Donna has always been helpful.

Donna behind the desk is a ditsy lazy blonde who doesn’t want to do anything but recover from her plastic surgery (it didn’t help ma’am).
My husband is an in-​patient at MGH who’s being discharged today. I went to the pharmacy to have his Rx filled before we go home. She asked for insurance information. I told her it was workers comp and that his information was in the system. He’s still admitted (hasn’t been discharged yet). She didn’t check. She acted like it was a hardship to look in the computer. I asked her to call the doctors office to have the demographic sheet faxed to her. She acted like she was too busy to do it.
So I ran up to the doctors office to get his face sheet. She had a question about the quantity of the pills. I asked her to call Yen and that Dr. Yee was in his office to clarify. She didn’t do it. I had to run back to the doctors office to have him physically check the boxes.
Initially she said that it would take 20 minutes to fill the Rx. When all was said and done (no help from her) she said there was now 3 people ahead of me and that it would take longer. Seriously lady? I’m doing YOUR JOB!
Rx was done is 45 minutes so they get at least one star.

I have been a customer at this pharmacy for 6 years and remain completely amazed at how excellent the service is here. No lines. Fast service. Friendly staff.
I will definitely remain a customer.
