Papa Murphy’s Take’n’bake

This place needs help. They get phone-​in orders wrong and want to cause an argument in the store in front of other Customers. Then the manger… lol wants to tell you to be quite and the employee still continues to fight and blame you cause you wanted family size. I was spending money at least weekly on 3 – 4 pizzas every time. I switched stores and one with different owner. They lost my business for good. –2 stars

Maybe I’m picky but I just went by this place with my mouth watering for a pizza. I’ve been there before and they make a decent pie for a reasonable price. Sign and other media state that they’re open until 9PM but I was told at 8:31 that they couldn’t take my order. Very disappointed.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would.
This papa murphies was fine for a while, then I went in last night and I can tell you I’ll never come back. The employees working on February 15, 2016 around 7pm have no idea what customer service is and were incredibly rude.
I called in an order around 6:30pm and got there around 7pm. I don’t eat cheese so I said I needed 2/​3rds without cheese and ¹⁄₃^rd with cheese. I got there and it was flip flopped. Nearly the entire pizza was covered in cheese. I looked at it and asked if I had ordered it this way, and without hesitating, the older lady with short hair said «Yeah you did, I repeated it back to you» staring at me while her and the cashier kept looking at each other trying their hardest not to roll their eyes. I said «I know this is frustrating but Im sorry I cant eat this» and without even offering to make me a new pizza, the older lady with short hair said «Well we cant sell that, it has no cheese on part of it» meaning they cant resell it to another customer. Which isn’t my problem at all, so I’m not sure why she even said that to me, the customer who was disappointed that my pizza was unedible due to allergies. I even APOLOGIZED for something that wasn’t my fault to calm them down because I’m in customer service and I know how frustrating it is to wrongly communicate with customers on what they want.
So I ended up saying, after her rude, unnecessary comment about reselling «its okay, dont worry about it» and started to walk out. They said nothing but «okay» and then mumbled to each other as I left.
I’m just wondering why they didn’t offer to remake my pizza for me, but instead took their frustration out on me. That’s nearly twenty dollars these employees threw away.
I hope they weren’t having terrible days, but even beside that, you have to leave that stuff outside of work. You have to come and remember that every customer is going through a life of their own and if you treat them like crap, you’re only part of the problem that this world is facing. Try being more compassionate and put the company that you’re representing first.
Again, wont be coming back because of how these employees responded to the issue.

Staff is always friendly and makes the pizzas in a timely fashion. I’ve been satisfied everytime I’ve come here.

After reading a few reviews i was prepared for the worst. Me and my boyfriend ordered the chicken bacon stuffed pizza, our cashier Alex, was surprisingly pleasant. We paid and waited about 10 minutes (the usual) the place seemed clean, we got our pizza headed home. Flavor was perfect, sauce was good. We were both satisfied with our trip. Thanks Alex :)

We love this Papa Murphy’s! Always been happy for the great pizza and friendly service.

Called in a order. Got there and they had the entire order wrong. Was told it would take five minutes to remake it. Took more like 10. Was kind if annoyed by that. Like put the toppings on and let me go. Don’t help people who can in after me

Recently I’ve been so disappointed in the frozen pizzas I’ve brought home from the supermarket that I was on my way to Domino’s when I remembered Papa Murphy’s has an incredible stuffed pizza! Holy smokes it’s a lot of pizza for one person but it’s SO good!!!
I love that the cheese is weighed ~ I felt like «extra» cheese was added for free because they’re so on point with it! The place and the employees were all clean and neat looking and because they make it right in front of your face you KNOW they didn’t spit in your food which is always a bonus! The employees were polite and friendly and I was in and out in about 11 minutes total even though I had a custom order.

I went in on ⁸⁄₁₆ to pick up my call in order. While waiting I saw they had cookie dough and cheesy bread sticks you could bake at home. 2 sides for $ 7, so I got both, and the top of the breadsticks said marinara included. We go to finish up paying and I remember we needed ranch for the pizza. Susie (our cashier) says they’ll have some right out. I go to leave, and realize that the breadsticks don’t include the marinara in the packaging so I asked for the marinara and she said the ranch counts as my side. Excuse me? I was expecting to pay for the ranch, and the marinara is included. Why the hell would you not even ask me? And then my receipt showed I got charged for each side separately totaling $ 9 (not a huge difference but still disappointed since the signs said $ 7). This place is clean and the food was yummy, but the service leaves much to be desired.

The two stars are for service. When calling in my order, the gentleman was so incredibly sweet and nice, with a hint of chipper which is so hard to find in customer service in arden arcade. My cashier when I came in to pay was very pleasant as well, but that’s where the happiness ends. I asked for double sauce and figured there wouldn’t be a problem since I’ve always had great experiences at other papa murphy’s. My pizza was DRY AS HELL. Who in there right mind thinks just a HINT or a pinch of color is enough sauce for a pizza? Literally, I saw a faint amount of pink under my cheese, not even enough to be called red and was SO SO SO disappointed. I ate it anyway, only because I couldn’t leave the house again due to construction in our apartment complex. Every one is forced to park on the street and I didn’t want to park 6 blocks away from my dang house. Né ways! Check your pizza before you go home from this place… wish I did :(

I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed in a Papa Murphey’s in my life. I place a call in order for a medium gluten free Murphey’s Combo with green bell peppers instead of mushrooms. The employee on the phone was polite, read me back my order and said it would be about 30 – 35 minutes.
I get there and there was only one employee working and she hands me my pizza with no veggies! I ask if that’s the murphey’s combo and she said yes. When I asked about the veggies she gave a dirty look and said «oh sorry, I forgot the olives» I said, I asked for mushrooms to be substituted with bell peppers. When I got to my car I realize there wasn’t any onions either.
When I went back inside, it took them about 3 minutes to notice me! The only thing this store has going for them is the fact that it looked clean. All in all, I would go back because it’s the closest location to me. If their customer service and quality improves, I will update!

Well they told me 25 mins and here I am 40 mins later and still waiting. The girl up front Morgan is a snob and not helpful. Acts like you’re bothering her. Cheap on the toppings. I asked for a bag and instead of putting my stuff in the bag she just hands it to me.

May I see your I.d. Just the thing I want to hear. Nothing like paying to feel like your running the latest pizza scam. Getta clue.

I had a family size meat deLite pizza with extra cheese and yes, it was delicious and I had to work out a week to work off the calories but it was worth it.

To date the best take n bake pizza’s I’ve ever had…
I do like a lil bread with the 40 pounds of meat & cheese that comes on the «ALL Meat» pizza that we 100% always order from this location but it’s the freshest ingredients: Canadian Bacon, Sausage, Pepperoni, Salami, Ground Beef, Mozzarella cheese and the most delicious red sauce to be exact that beyond satisfies my pizza needs to a T… Mushrooms are a must as well at an additional $ 2 for them they are well worth it… Out the door we can get this gynormous pizza with the additional topping & the use of our coupon listed below for around $ 14.
I also love their COUPONS which come in the weekly mailers. Of particular obsession is the one where you can «Family Size» your pizza for free saving you at least $ 3 – 4 bucks and their family sized pizza can feed an army or an army of 2 leaving enough leftovers for another day or maybe even two and their pizza heats up extremely well and often tastes better the next day than the day you bake it…
Ancient Chinese Secret: Oven… Reheat your beloved pizza in an oven and with it on foil verses the microwave… Perfectly re-​crisped crust and the freshest left over pizza ever!
Nothing would make me happier than to bestow the most coveted of 5 stars to this location however I cannot as they have room for improvements and here’s the areas that need it:
ONLINE ordering: It sucks… It sucks royally to be exact… Their website is not at all user friendly when attempting to locate your closest location, build said pizza order and makes using coupons impossible even though it says you can use them it will deny you making a coupon clipper like myself irritated and agitated; never a good thing…
More about the online ordering and another ancient Chinese secret: If you order online they reward your efforts by having a special check in window once you arrive to the store to pick up your order that lets you zip in and out faster that the other line aka: The Line from Hell where the rest of us stand, where there is always at least one person counting out their pennies, coins, running back and forth to their car to dig more out and then complaining to the store associate about god only knows what as it creeps along at a snails pace for all the other types of orders: Call in and walk in orders…
Chaps my hide that because their online ordering system sucks so badly that I cannot use it and then I am forced to wait in the line that often times reaches out the door and all because they have yet to improve their online ordering system and that they have taken the time to create a «special» super speedy pick up window for, BUT that in ALL the trips we’ve made here I have never ever seen one person use the «Online Ordering» elite line and we have come here beyond frequently over the past several months… Yes I have asked & voiced my complaints to the in-​store associates about this but they do not address it…
No five stars for you Papa until you improve this area… Actually your pizza is a 5 but in all honestly you deserve a 3 because of this issue but I am going to let my addiction to the meaty delicious goodness of the pizza override that fact…
Yes you will still be our go to for our take and bake side of beef and pork beloved pizza’s however please address this online issue as your not only loosing a lot of business by not doing it but your irritating your loyal customers; fix it or remove it all together as its like a dangling carrot that ya just can’t reach…,…
Okay! that’s all I got…

I have been a paying customer here for a long time. I have never had a problem paying with a credit card. This time, however, I was using my boyfriends card, (who has also been a customer here for a long time) the clerk would not let me pay with his card despite a call and proof of purchaser, this completely turned me off from this location. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and have never had an issue like this that could not allow reasonable proof for a credit card purchase. Especially when I could have just ordered and paid with that same card online!!! This makes no sense to me, and this location had lost mine and my boyfriends business indefinitely!

I came in to order the stuffed chicken garlic stuffed pizza. I was greeted by the staff and placed my order. The pizza itself was delish they put a ton of chicken which seemed like more than they normally put on it, but i’m not complaining by any means. My only compaint is the wait was a lot longer than normal, maybe I will call it in or order online next time.

Will never buy again.
The pizza was stuck to the cardboard «shell» and impossible to get into the oven. The hassle of dealing with this huge mess of a pizza is not worth it. Especially since its really not cheap. $ 13 is nearly as much as I would have spent for a baked pizza from a pizza parlor.

The people at this place are pretty nice, and the pizzas are done pretty fast.
The reason for the low score, is that the pizzas are light. I have gotten a lot of this chains pizzas in many different locations, and these do not have as much stuff on them. I just got a stuffed Chicken & Garlic, and it weighted the same as the pepperoni pizza of the same size. Will not be going back.

Got a pizza here for dinner tonight and was pleasantly greeted and treated!
The older woman there (didn’t get her name) was very nice, she took my order and asked if I wanted anything in place of the tomatoes on my chicken garlic gourmet (I asked for no onions or tomatoes) I thought that was nice of her to offer. We talked about me being lactose intolerant and she said she occasionally gets customers who are also, and ask for no cheese… that’s a bit blah for me! Load up the cheese please… I’ll just be paying for it later, but it’s so good!
She also told me if I were to bring her the soy cheese she would make me a pizza with it, anything I wanted just bring it! How awesome was that to offer! Glad that everyone there was so nice… some nights it’s very busy in there and not everyone is a «peppy» mood… but understandable… work is work, but glad I got there when it was empty and the employees were sweet:)
Oh, they have pink lemonade there in the 20oz bottles… mmmm, haven’t had one of those in a while and it was a perfect sunny day for it! Go on-​line and sign up for their e-​club and get coupons sent to your in-​box, we always get the ones sent in the mail, but you can never have too many coupons!
