This place is THEBUSINESS(the best). Lunch/dinner: The«Levine» is a pastrami sandwich stacked mile-high with delicious Brent’s deli pastrami. They’re the only restaurant, other than Brent’s, that has it! SOGOOD! Happy hour specials are off the hook. Great prices and always really delicious. However my favorite thing on the menu is probably the chicken salad sandwich. Served on a toasty croissant with avocado! Who doesn’t love avocado, especially here in CA? Breakfast/pastries: Also, I’ve had the hand pies. Deep fried, covered in sugar and served with ice cream? um, yes please. I Breakfast pastries are incredible too. Check out the scones. Coffee is always the best, especially when barista Edward is there. Staff: ever helpful, always charming, consistently cheerful. This place deserves so much more than 3 ½ stars. A true gem.

Went here for lunch today. We got sandwiches: turkey, blt and pastrami. Also tried the soup. Prices were high for what they were serving. Average sandwiches – although the fries were really good(not a lot of them though). We work close by, but probably won’t be coming back.

This place is super cute inside! I had no clue it even existed until my friends invited me out to lunch here. When you walk by it just looks like it’s attached to Claim Jumper, but it’s actually it’s own restaurant. There isn’t a sign outside yet because it’s still fairly new. Average soup, salads and sandwiches. I’ve tried the Urban Caprese salad, the Salmon BLT and the Turkey sandwich. All were pretty good. A tad pricey, but not bad. I’m not coming out of my way to come here for lunch, but I won’t be complaining if I have to either.

We walked in hesitantly while walking by… we were disturbed by the condition of our state’s Capitol at night. We passed a Claim Jumper’s but we were seeking local cuisine. We stumbled upon a jewel just a few blocks from the Sheraton. Our waiter was extremely attentive and very charming-knowledgeable about the menu. My shrimp scampi with vegetables was amazing. The shrimp tasted fresh and was beautifully seasoned and hey… NOPASTA. Loved it! Vegetables were crispy and tasty. My husband’s lamb chop plate and Caprese salad went over quite well with him. We complimented the very humble and personable chef and will come back soon! The price is right for beautiful food(it really IS pretty to look at) and groovy ambiance.

I’m giving this place a «meh I’ve experienced better» because for holding themselves out to be a new trendy spot, the came very very short of my expectations. Service wise, it was meh. Our party of 2 went for lunch and the server kind of threw the menus at us and mumbled something really fast about times. Maybe I was distracted but I felt very rushed despite it being a very slow time of day. Food was even more of a mehhhh. I got the grilled salmon sandwich and it was dry and boring. I wouldn’t have paid 5 $ for that, much less the $ 11 I think it is on the menu. The saving grace of my plate was the the giant potato wedges were cooked to perfection. I like giant wedges and know they’re not for everyone. Facility was cool… I think. The décor was cute and tasteful, points for the high ceiling and huge windows. However, I think if more people were there it would be difficult to navigate. The tables are along a narrow side. I imagine it’s great for happy hour though.(Makes note to go back for happy hour) They’ve got something going on with an old, empty pool that looked liek it’s open for parties? There were cocktail tables in it. PROS: cool facility, long drinks menu I didn’t get to try CONS: food, service Happy hour 4−6pm Daily FYI

So I go up the the counter and the girl has cake face so I’m not expecting high intelligence but when I ask for a large iced latte with vanilla and get a hot beverage when it’s 3pm and 80 plus outsode, it’s like really?! They were too busy talking to each other anyways. Didn’t get my drink for 10 minutes. Last time I came here it was the same way and they guy said I don’t know how to make a drink i ordered. The marshmallow something, which sucked. Last time I come here.

I was really looking forward to trying this place since hearing it opened. My mom came into town, I looked up the website to make sure they were open, and the website indicated it was. Upon arriving there, we were told it was closed for a special event. Very disappointed. It’s very frustrating when a website in 2016 doesn’t consistently update their website to let you know they are closed for a special event.

Pros: happy hour clams/mussels in a saffron broth, cheap $ 3 drinks during happy hour Cons: no regular food specials during happy hour, had to pay extra for bread to mop up the clam broth, under seasoned food(crab cakes and sauteed mushrooms)

I love Railbridge and all they have to offer and have been really wanting to check out their new space. It was pretty mellow in there during happy hour/dinner on a Thursday, but I think they focus more on the lunch crowd based on their location. Of course their wine selection is awesome although per their menu it didn’t seem like too many were offered by the glass. The first and third Thursday of every month they do a special wine tasting 5 for $ 10 per person, so we gave that a go. Wines were good and decent size pours, although I am always more of a port/tawny girl and they definitely have a nice selection of those too. Their railbridge platter(meat and cheese board) is a pretty good size and the selection of items changes daily. Our server was brand-spanking new, so my water got a little low several times, and it took a bit to have a few of our questions answered, but at least she was upfront with being new, otherwise it just would have seemed like she was completely slacking. The owner is a very nice guy and was walking around checking on varies parties. Next time I got I want to try the street tacos and I think it would be awesome if they considered adding a small upscale pizza option to go with the wine in addition to the flatbread that’s on the menu– and a gluten free bread, cracker, or pizza crust would be awesome, but that’s just wishful thinking. The private party pool area is right there within the restaurant which is a little odd, so there’s big glass windows separating everything, but I would still want to have a party in there. Overall, cool place.

One word: sensational! Yesterday on 3÷5÷2016, I visited to this latest, and the newest local restaurant spot located at the Downtown neighborhood. The RailBridge Cellars & Company brings the customers(aka. guests) to taste their delicious food and drinks all night long! As the Caffeine Crawl continued and concluded, I finally got a chance to try it out for the very first time. As I entered their doors, the atmosphere is quite romantic and relaxing as I welcomed here. The concept is totally revised, yet it keeps the original formatting like light poles, decors, and amazing wine cellar shelves especially walls and bricks. The employees are doing a fantastic job for making the customers like me a flawless service! No cons at all. Since I didn’t got a chance to try their main course food, I decided to try their drinks. I ordered their wine of, the Centennial Cabernet Sauvignon red wine. As I slurp it up, it tasted elegant and savy. I can feel the boldness of that red wine tasting the natural grapes and hidden berries too. Such a great drink to end the evening right! Additionally, I also tried their coffee samples from Vaneli’s which they distributed this local restaurant after it opened it’s doors. Not a bad coffee at all! Parking at RailBridge can be challenging to park. You can park at the nearest surface street parking, or the parking garage available. Otherwise, you can ride a bike, walk, or use public transportation easier without the hassles. In the end, RailBridge Cellars & Company is the coolest, and remarkable local restaurant that I’ve ever visited in years! I’ll come back for more in the future! A well, worthy visit! My rating: 5 solid stars.

From the minute I walked past this restaurant upon the beginning of my three day stay in Sacramento, I looked forward to dining here. This was, unfortunately, yet another time in which I set myself up for disappointment. I convinced seven coworkers to join me for dinner at this place. I even made reservations. You’d think that by giving a restaurant the«head’s up» seven people were coming, they’d be prepared to service us adequately. From the time we placed our dinner orders, to the time the food came out, almost an hour had passed. Fortunately, we ordered a few appetizers to hold us over until dinner service came out. The slow dinner service was one of the issues I had. I felt really dumb around the 45 minute mark when everyone I had convinced to dine here started asking me «Why did we come here again, I thought we were going someplace to eat?» One of my coworkers ordered the chicken, which prompted another coworker to make the joke«They must be out back chasing the chicken around still». Bummer. Another issue I had was that a coworker and I both ordered the Pork Ossobuco. About 10 minutes after our meal orders went in, the waiter came out to inform us that there was only one Ossobuco dish left for the night… wait…what? Any good waiter(and I know a few), know what’s going down in the kitchen, and usually inform you immediately if the restaurant is out of a dish. I subbed it with a Bacon Salmon sandwich. Not shortly after the food came out, and after I had only eaten half of my sandwich, our waiter asked if I’d like to box up my food to go. Excuse me? It takes you an hour to bring out my food and I get 10 minutes to eat it before you’re trying to push me out the door? Kinda rude in my opinion. When the bill was brought to the table, all of us were surprised to see absolutely no discount or comped drink or food item for the long wait or last minute notice about the Ossobuco. I didn’t expect it, but when my coworker asked about it, I started thinking«Well, that would have gone a long way for making up for the mishaps». As the star rating indicates, «Meh, I’ve experienced better». I’m so bummed to say that though, as I had such high hopes of this amazing looking place. Guess I won’t be trusted to pick the dinner spot for a while.

I came here for an exclusive Unilocal Elite event and I was not disappointed! The venue is on the smaller side, but definitely has a modern, classic vibe. There is a bar area with high tables for those who want to come in for wine and small bites, then there are smaller tables set around the room. I love how you can view the bottom pool turned event area. As for being the first service, the servers were actually on point — friendly, efficient and did not forget to tell us about the specials on the menu. We were provided with a complimentary three course meal with a glass of wine. Here’s my food review: — First course: carrot ginger soup; great for those who like ginger, there was a slight kick to the soup which I liked, it was creamy and delicious — Second course: Dungeness crab cake; tasted fresh and paired quite well with the watercress and lemon herb aioli, wished there was more than one though — Third course: cheesecake; I was looking forward to the crème brûlée but they ran out, bummer; nonetheless, the cheesecake was pretty dense and the portion was just the right size I would definitely recommend this venue for a date night or a girls night out! Sorry, I didn’t catch when their actual opening date would be but I think there will be a Valentine’s Day special– call and check them out! :)

This is a classy place with excellent food and reasonable prices. The staff were all very friendly; the owner is jazzed about the remodel as well. We tried the carrot ginger soup, rocket salad, lamb rib, and crab cake. All were amazing(but the crab cake wasn’t the best value). Definitely looking forward to trying it again!

I was one of the lucky few to try this restaurant out of the gate. Oh man. We are lucky to have places like this starting to make Sacramento home. Sacramento has grown so much as a city since I moved here over a decade ago. Places like this solidify us as one of the best places to live EVER. The Dungeness crab cakes are like heroin. The petit lamb rib melts in your mouth. I got to try the 3strands pinot, extensively. Not is it only socially conscious(please check out 3strands) but it’s delicious? Whaaaaaaaaaat, win win I will so be back with bells on. Thank you Michael and your wonderful staff for a beyond delicious meal with out of the park wine!!!

It was such an honor and privilege to have Unilocal be the first to try out their menu! The moment you walk in, you fall in love with the décor, ambiance, and the lovely wall full of wine. The menu has a wide variety of items that sounded delicious. I started off with the Rocket Salad, which was made up of arugula, grapefruit, crab, and a raspberry vinaigrette. Great and satisfying way to start my 3 course meal. My 2nd course I went for the crab cakes… and thank goodness I did. They were delicious and cooked perfectly with a side of aioli. What better way to top of this delicious dinner with some dessert! The cheesecake was divine, and just to jazz it up, the top was sprinkled with graham cracker. The overall dining experience was wonderful. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. My water glass was never empty– which is a huge deal for me. I can’t wait to come back with a group of friends. Random note: there was an empty pool with lights above it, looked like an awesome place to have a party!

I came here for a Unilocal event which included a 3 course meal. I chose the rocket salad for my first course and that was delicious. It was my first time ordering that kind of salad and I was not disappointed. It was just perfect! For my second course I ordered the crab cakes. The crab cakes were amazing! It was filled with tons of crab meat and there was not a lot of flour it was mainly crab meat which impressed me cause normally restaurants don’t have crab cakes like that. Well at least the ones I been to which makes me hesitant to order crab cakes anywhere. It also was not greasy at all. I loved that part! The only thing though is that I think they should change the name to crab cake instead of crab cakes because it only comes with 1 which can be misleading. My third course was the cheesecake and well i didn’t enjoy it because it tasted like I was eating a stick of cream cheese. It was pretty disgusting to me. I normally love cheesecake to just not this one I guess. I brought it up to the server and she said she will definitely inform management about it. So I’m hoping she did that so maybe they can make some adjustments with their recipe. My server was amazing she had excellent customer service and very friendly. In face every worker I came across was great! I didn’t have a negative experience at all. I would definitely come back and try other items on their menu.

How exciting to be able to be one of the first to experience the food service at Rail Bridge! We were there for a soft opening and from the consumer side, it all went off without a hitch! The staff were very attentive and friendly. I drink a lot of water and my glass was never empty. Always a great sign at a restaurant. The food was delicious. Hot and came out in a timely manner. I had a starter of Carrot Ginger Soup. It was warm and had just enough kick to it yet smooth. The Crab Cakes were perfectly crunchy on the outside without being hard and dry on the inside. We finished with the Cheesecake with was served in a ramekin with a dusting of graham cracker on top for a nice spin on a classic. The wine was fabulous! I can be a little snobby about my wine, but the Pinot Noir they were serving was great. And if you buy a bottle, $ 3 goes to a local non-profit to help the fight against human trafficking. The total for three courses and a glass of vino came out to just about $ 30. Not bad for a good quality meal and glass of wine! Look forward to coming back here in the near future!

Great Unilocal event at Railbridge Cellars! We got to try some of the highlights off of the menu at the first Elite event of the season… and I must say, I was super impressed. Elites were offered many choices for a delectable 3 course menu. So fancy for a Monday! My elite friend, Jefferson and I decided to divide and conquer, choosing different menu items and sampling from each other. For the first course, we tasted the«Rocket Salad» with grapefruit and arugula. I tried the carrot and ginger soup. I was a bit disappointed in the temperature of the soup, but the flavor was spot on. For the main courses, we had the Osso Buco with grits and I had the lamb rib with baba ganoush. 5 stars for the baba g alonnnne. Great texture and flavor… added a nice brightness to the dish. Lastly, for dessert, we had the Crème Brûlée and Cheesecake. I think they can definitely step up their dessert game and not make it such an afterthought. The CB was too much of a pudding texture and the cheesecake was more like cream cheese with a bit of sweetness. Another highlight… the service. Sure, the food was solid, but I get more impressed with service! High fiiiiive Railbridge, you’re on the way to a classy ass 5 star review with a few tweaks. Oh! And I’ll just keep going on and on if I mention the décor. One word… LOVE.

Came here for a soft opening for a Unilocal Elite Event and it was awesome! The service, the décor, the food, the wine, and don’t forget, the people you are dining with. It was quite entertaining to be dining with fellow Unilocal elites. When I’m with my friends, I’m usually the ones always taking pictures for all my social media websites: snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and etc. We were all taking a bunch of pictures. Had a great time catching up friends I haven’t seen in a while and also meeting new ones as well. We had a three course meal paired with wine. The dungeonous crab cakes stood out to me the most, then the pork osso bucco, then the cheesecake. Service was great as well! Had a good time! Overall, this is a great place to go on a date to or even check it out!
