Great sandwich spot. Unlike many others, you actually get a large amount of meat on your sandwich. It isn’t too pricey either. I’d recommend this spot over anywhere else in downtown.

The sub depot in carmichael had an amazing sandwich selection. I loved «the conductor» (pastrami, cream cheese, avocado, bacon, and olive tapenade) when I walked in I felt like subway and a school cafeteria had an ugly baby. The service was really kind and the food wasn’t particularly bad or anything, it’s just so basic. Like ham and cheese on white basic.

This place is soooo good. I prefer theirs over any other sandwich place. so fresh and delicious. The owners are just really lovely people who provide great customer service with a sincere smile on their faces. My favorite: turkey, American cheese add bacon on white bread. #bomb

First I want to say that they have EXCELLENT customer service! very friendly! Also there Food is delicious!!! I always have the Barb Q roast beef sandwich and its just mouth watering, and the steak and cheese absolutely amazing! I recommended you buy the foot long just due to the fact that they are so good! Over all Great service I rate this place 5 stars! everything is always very Fresh and not dry like other places,

If you want a colon cleanse, get the steak sandwich. Gave me explosive diarrhea and fevers and chills for a couple days. Could possibly have been a staph aureus infection

Great local owners who care about their product and customers – Well worth a visit. The hot pastrami is great (lean meat, good amount), italian combo is a favorite, and the tuna is nice and also provided in appropriate quantity. Simple, customized sandwiches at a reasonable price.

A favorite lunch spot for my fellow workers. We enjoy the quick service, great flavored sandwiches, and friendly atmosphere offered by the owners/​operators. Whether I order a 6″ sub, or 12″ with combo (soda and chips or potato/​macaroni salad) the serving size is great. The meal and atmosphere is a terrific value. I highly recommend Sub Depot to all of my friends.
Sub Depot is in midtown, with parking in front or on the street.

By far one of my favorite sub spots. Small but cozy. They always have a sub special and I walk out of there with a six inch anyway I want it, some potato salad and a drink for 7.15. Definitely recommended if you are downtown and want to get away from the chain sub shops.

This place makes very good sandwiches. Not too large of a variety but their ingredients are fresh and the meat tastes good. I always get a large turkey on white and it never disappoints.
The customer service here is very good, it is a small family own business which is why their business hours are short but they are open 6 days a week. You get to see the same people every time and they are always friendly and in good spirits.
One time I ordered a large turkey and thought it was the sub of the day but only the 6 inch turkey was the sub of the day. However, the owner still gave me the sub of the day price. This just made me feel good about myself, looking back it I only saved 50 cents, but it’s the thought that counts.
Good tasty simple subs + hard working small business = 5 stars.

Fresh ingredients! Super friendly staff. It’s always the couple who I believe owns the place in there working. Over summer their son was helping out but other than that I’ve never seen anyone else. They’re sweet as pie. Sandwiches are always good, break is super soft. Prices are totally reasonable. Especially for the quality of food. Beats places like subway/​togos by miles!
Small place but quick service. Love it!

One of my lunch places of choice for work. Sandwich is above average for a good price. Most footlongs are $ 5.99. The steak and cheese is my favorite so far. Only things missing are dutch crunch bread and sprouts. Still a good deal and 10x better than subway.

It can get stuffy during the summer but the sandwiches are always great! The owners are also super nice and friendly. I usually get the turkey breast or tuna with wheat bread. The prices are way affordable especially considering everything else nearby are fast food places, so why not get something affordable, good and heathy instead of processed fast food? SubDepot all the way.

I really liked the sandwich that I ordered here. It was a pastrami sandwich. It seemed like a mom and pop shop. There was also a choice of macaroni salad or potato salad. I really liked eating that too.
My sandwich tasted fresh and I really enjoyed it a lot. It is kinda pricy, but I have to say the taste of my sandwich won me. It was nice and fresh. The workers here were extremely nice and I have to say during lunch time, this place is kinda busy. That says a lot. People like this place. and its a great place to get a good sandwich to fill the spot.

If youre wanting a no– nonsense sandwich with basic, quality, fresh ingredients while minding your budget. . come here.
It’s like Subway but a MILLLION times better! They don’t take your meats and cheese from a fat wad of thin slices in a plastic wrapping
I always seem to pick between a salami or turkey sub, always on wheat with everything .
(except jalapenos). . I recently ventured on to the Hot Pastrami cause my BF always gets it.. and OMG it’s probably my favorite now. .
Costumer Service is great, its usually the same couple, always very sweet.
I think Footlongs are only $ 6.50 !

I been going over to Sub Depot for a few years for my work lunch breaks. The sandwich is huge for the price and is a great basic sandwich. Nothing crazy or fancy but I like it and I am picky.
The people that work there are always polite and nice people. The only thing I would recommend is that place needs a good cleaning. Some fresh paint and a new cash register. The register they have now is filthy and black from all the years of use. At least take some 409 to it or something.

This is my favorite place to get work time lunch. It’s cheap, unpretentious, and freakin’ delicious. It’s set up like Subway but a million times better because their ingredients are incredibly fresh, especially the bread.
It’s very basic– they only have white or wheat bread, the most basic types of sandwiches (no mortadella, prosciutto, mushroom confit here), and don’t have any crazy sauces. But somehow, it’s so damn good that I actually crave their sandwiches.
Plus the owners are really nice, I think it’s a husband and wife team. I call in orders all the time and they’re always perfectly made and waiting by the time I get there. I also like how they cut all sandwiches in half, even the 6 inch. Highly recommended.

I was up in Sacramento with my mock trial team for state and needed someone that would deliver for lunch. I placed an order for about 25 people and the sandwiches came in a timely fashion. I really liked that all of them were labeled according to what they were (no searching for the veggie ones!), and lots of condiments were provided on the side for us to add to our sandwiches. They gave us a discount for the group order, which was a plus since we were working on a small budget.
My only problem was with the salad we ordered for someone on the team. She described it as a «sandwich in a box», which it was. It was odd with whole slices of cheese in it.
I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich, it was fresh and filling.
