This is close to my work and offers a little more variety than most burger places. I go here for a change of pace when looking for a slower paced spot that doesn’t get the mad rush. The burgers are okay, but not superb :/

I like this little burger joint. The food is good, and I’d rather go here than to McDonalds for pre-frozen food. The Korean guy is really nice and conversational. It’s in the middle of some office suites and warehouses, so I’m sure they have usual customers, which is why they’re probably still open. Some of the menu items were pricey, so I stick to the meal deal.

Today I was driving around for my lunch break, in the mood to try out a new burger joint. Superb Burger was the first one I came across, and it did good enough. It doesn’t help their case that the best burger joint in town(Squeeze Inn) is now right across the street, but I bet they get more business as a result of that because the line for Squeeze is usually ridiculous. Anyone who has any sort of limit on their lunch break isn’t gonna be able to grab lunch there, so I’m sure plenty come here. Now this place is by no means Squeeze-worthy, but it’s not bad. They’ve got a big menu, including many Korean dishes. I came for a gardenburger and some onion rings, and both were pretty good. The gardenburger included avocado, and the onion rings were greasy enough to eat through the bag… so good stuff. Now the bad parts, which put them on the verge of 2 stars… I was the only one ordering, and it still took about 20 minutes to get my order. On top of that, the place wasn’t very clean. Tables weren’t wiped down, newspapers were on the floor, and even the menu was primarily items written on a piece of paper and taped to the wall. Sides weren’t even listed, I had to check a paper menu for those. They could definitely clean up their act a bit. But the food was good enough, and their prices were about standard. If the line at Squeeze Inn is out the door, this place will work as a substitute. Not an equal, by any means, but more of a consolation prize.

I went in a hurry, on a hot day a few weeks ago, around 230pm. The was no air cond. and the place was almost empty as it took the girl approx. 25mins. to make my burger. Neither was I impressed that the burger was just mediocre.

Usually you’re expecting just burgers, which they do have many choices of, but they also serve Korean food. Burgers aren’t bad, but I usually just go here for the Bulgogi Rice Plate. Their bulgogi is sweet and so good, and at often times I crave for it.

Tried to go to SI at 1:30 on a Saturday and ended up here — like many, I suspect, in the place. Burger was ok and the onion rings pretty good — passing the Guy F test of not getting the entire onion ring pull out of the batter on the first bite. What they need to go up a star is some TLC — staff seemed overwhelmed by a busy Saturday(SI had a line out the door so I guess everyone was Jonesing for some cow meat) and the place needs some repairs! And have someone wipe the tables.

2.5, really. It’s a decent value for what you get, and certainly better than McDonald’s across the street… but I expected more from a place that stays in business down the street from the Squeeze Inn. The burgers were overcooked. Not cool. But you can get a cheeseburger with bacon and good avocado for $ 5.95, and fries are $ 1.50. It’s not bad. the milkshakes were good. Service seemed really slow for not having many customers there.

All Ratings on 5 stars, 1 being X-Poor, 5 being exceptional Date of Adventure: Numerous — Recent into 2009 Food Variety — 3 Stars — A variety of hamburgers and chicken burgers. Food Flavor — 3 Stars — Never a bad burger yet. Noise Level — 4 Stars — All quiet as you wait except TV and grill flame Ambience — 2 Stars — It’s a dining hall, no ambience Value — 3 Stars — Burgers are decently priced for what you get, but you will spend 6 – 9 bucks with fries and a drink. Wait Staff — 4 Stars — Same friendly lady and owner guy every time Cleanliness — 3 Stars — Shoes might slip, spilled salt on tables, otherwise OK Overall Stars 3.14 Decent Joint, I like this place OK, the items I have enjoyed off the menu are: The Philly Steak Special, The Superb Burger(not a good pastrami burger really, it’s OK), The Mushroom Swiss burger(with a side of teriyaki). All of these items have been good. My favorite is the Mushroom burger, good flavor, good size. Also, I like the 12′ PHilly Cheesesteak which is advertised on the window, it’s decent, probably bland if you’re used to Grand Central Station(W. Sac. King of all cheesteaks — Combo) but it’s good. The Superb Burger is a pastrami burger, but it’s that stuff like turkey pastrami. Does not do it for me. Special not on the menu item: Fried Mozarella sticks, the bomb! This place is friendly and you might just find me there tomorrow.

I don’t know why the other reviews are bad about this place, I mean, this place was DELICIOUS. One of the best burger places I have tried in my life. Great burgers. The owners were very kind and offered us samples of food. We had the terriyaki meal which was so, SO good, and I had a western burger meal which was delicious. The onion rings here are the bomb. Seriously. I’d go here again and again. It wasn’t that expensive as well. 3.99 for a cheeseburger, fries, and drink. Jesus its good. Try it out, I swear you’d love here. I came at peak hour, when the parking lot was near full, lots of people, fast food, and grill cooked in front of you which is rare these days in fast food restarants.

I don’t know how this place stays open. Haven’t been to this restaurant for about 4 years and it has changed ownership. There was no one in the place, we went about 6:00PM. The cheese steak sandwich had no flavor and too much cheese. The burgers were dry and overcooked. Never going back here.

Check it out, a burger place with an Asian buffet? The Asian buffet looked kinda iffy to me, but I didn’t get it so I don’t want to knock it before I’ve tried it. I did get a cheese burger special, and that was pretty good for a random burger place. Better than fast food burgers I guess.
