Pretty disappointed in my $ 9 salad — yeah I get you don’t go here for a salad but seriously 6 pieces of tofu 6 small tomatoes and a handful of lettuce does not constitute a $ 9 price tag. Next time I go for the meat!

The truck served up a great vegan sandwich last summer at the Chavez park concerts! It was awesome to get something completely meat free. And honestly, gigantic. I think they were trying it out for a test run, hopefully, it’s still in the mix!

I absolutely loved my sandwhich. My sister and I weren’t sure what kind of food to eat until we saw the other table with their huge sandwhich and fries we knew we had to get it. Without a doubt you must come hungry and ready to pay for such an extraordinary sandwhich or salad depending on how you feel. But also they don’t have a combo, so you’ll have to pay extra for a drink. Other than that great service and wonderful quality food!

Hillbilly Chomp? Yes, please! I had one today, and for the first time realized I really like fries on my sandwich. I LOVE fries, but I didn’t love the idea of giving up the satisfaction of eating them one by one(or two by two) in separate bites from my sandwich/burger. Until now. And this sandwich had so much more to it than just fries. The pulled pork was fantastically flavorful, and the bacon thick and cooked beautifully. Top it all off with melted cheddar, slaw with vinaigrette, and a toasted thick slice of fresh bread, and you have a world class sandwich that weighs about 5 pounds and can feed you for two meals. All of this for less than $ 10. I’m hooked.

We were visiting Sacramento and happened upon Wicked wich, it was awesome and delicious. The was able to tell us if there were any items that were Gluten Free, we had the Pulled Pork and Fries, outstanding and delicious. Thank you Wicked for doing a great job as a purveyor of quality foods I will recommend your establishment to all my Gluten Free clients, and I will put your establishment on my list of «must visit» restaurants on my blog

The Wrangler! It had bacon and avocado, what more could a girl ask for?! The sandwiches here are ginormous! Luckily I was sharing with a coworker, half was definitely more then enough for me. Their regular fries were a little soggy and on the sad side but the taste was there, just wish they were crispier! However, the Bahn mi fries are a must! What a creative way to fuse Vietnamese and American food together. Each bite is an absolute mouth full of deliciousness. I like to have a slice of jalapeño with every bite to give it that extra kick! I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve actually never tried their food until last week at work. One of my coworkers shared a small plate with me and it was delicious! She gave me some of her banhmi fries. Since that was just a teaser, I ended up trying it out earlier this week with a few of my other coworkers. I ordered the wrangler sandwich and banhmi fries and we shared. Both were extremely tasty! I was sooooo surprised at the amount of food they serve! Huge portions! The wrangler sandwich was Delish! It had avocado, bacon, chicken, and a whole bunch of other goodies in it. When I got my banhmi fries, it was also filled with a whole bunch of goodness! The pulled pork, daikon, jalapeños, and the sauce gave the dish such a sweet, yet tangy taste that my tastebuds loved! It was definitely something that I will be going back for! It’s a must try!

I love this place. How they every decided that the place they wanted to replicate their food truck food was in a mall food court is beyond me, but I’m so happy they did. Besides probably helping out with the traffic in the food court(and I’m wondering what will happen to them when they start to build the new downtown arena — but I digress), the permanent location makes it easy to get the food truck fix. Their sandwiches are hefty and creative and fresh. I love their Red White & Blue(actually not sure of the name) but it is steak with thick slices of bacon and blue cheese and is soooo good. I’ve also had the spicy one with the peppers(the Charro, I think) and that is also delish. Just really can’t go wrong with the food. But get there at noon and you’ll have a long lunchtime wait! I try and get there by 11:45 and then it isn’t too bad.

Amazing sandwich. I had the Red, Hot and Bleu. I had half for lunch and half for dinner. My mom had the Cubana and we shared the plain fries. DELICIOUS. The lady at the table next to us was eating the Hillbilly Chomp and it looked so very yummy. They didn’t have the same sandwiches from their food truck(slightly disappointing) but everything was really good. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Stopped here for breakfast the day after Xmas, and I was pleasantly surprised… They had a great breakfast deal, make any one of their sandwiches into an omelet for $ 5 with a side of home fries… good deal and the food was really tasty and filling.

I don’t get to Downtown Plaza much anymore, but since I was in training at 300 Capitol Mall for a few days, I took a walk to the food court to see what was available. To say that the offerings are a bit lackluster is being kind. Hell, even Sbarro is gone! However, Wicked ‘Wich saved the day(2 days in my case). The first day I ordered the Cubana sandwich. This thing is tasty and pretty healthy as well, if you overlook the super-thick bread. Tasty chicken, avocado, freakin’ delicious. The next day, it was time for Banh Mi fries… Sweet Baby Jesus in the Manger, these things are deadly good. The fries are crispy, the shredded pork tender and flavorful, add that sweet sauce, daikon and carrot and holy crap — amazeballs. Truly the only place worth visiting for Downtown Plaza eats.

Good quality sandwich. Had the Bronx bomber with egg and bacon(it was my brunch) and I enjoyed it. Was heavy but not too heavy. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Never did I think the day would come that I’d write a review for a food court joint– so be flattered, Wicked ‘wich! I recognized the name from hearing about the food truck so I knew I needed to give them a shot the last time I went shopping. Had the Bronx Bomber– pastrami, cheese, housemade slaw and horseradish cream sauce. AKA sex in your mouth. You have the option of having double meat(that’s what HE said!), but you really don’t need it because you get so much to begin with(that’s what SHE said!). My only regret is that I have to ask myself… WHYTHEEFFDIDYOUNOTGETTHEBANHMIFRIES!!!

A nice addition to the Downtown Plaza food court. I love their sandwiches with their spongy bread stuffed with slaw and fries. It’s not cheap but you’re getting your money’s worth. You order and pay at the register. They take your name. The food is prepared when it’s ordered so it’s not sitting under heat lamps or anything like that. Your name is called when it’s ready to pick up. I’ve liked everything I’ve had EXCEPT the Treehugger Vegan Burger. The Treehugger is available with a Portabella Mushroom or a house made Vegan Burger– I like the Portabella so much more.

My wife is in love with Rocky. We came to check out this place after hearing about the legendary truck and eating at its sister restaurant Broderick’s. This isn’t a full service restaurant but it is an upscale option for a food court at a mall. It shares space with fast and processed food vendors but specializes in farm to fork ingredients and a menu that is truly unique. We’ve only tried the Rocky Balboa from this location(and fries) and it’s safe to say we now have an excuse to visit downtown plaza more frequently. You can taste full flavor and freshness and it’s amazingly yummy.

Going out with relatives to a mall is not the greatest thing and I was not in the mood for mediocre food. But thank gawd this place exist here. I had the Banh Mi Fries and they were amazing! Perfect pulled pork on top of thick cut fries with pickled daikon! And it was such a large serving that you could share it between two for a meal. Plus a soda and it came out to be a cheap $ 10.

What a welcome addition to the Downtown Plaza Food Court! I was really happy to see Wicked ‘Wich had set up shop there… I love their sandwiches, and their salads are a great option for someone like me who’s trying to watch their carb intake. I mean, I love their sandwich bread, but it rockets up my blood sugars like you wouldn’t believe. Sigh… The few times I’ve been already, the staff has been über-nice and efficient. They obviously don’t make your order until you order it, and you can watch them making it so you know it’s fresh. Nice! Do yourself a favor and give this brick-and-mortar version of the awesome Wicked ‘Wich food truck a try. :)

Banh Mi fries are awesome. Red Hot & Bleu sandwich is steaky, HOT, and good. The Cuban chicken Caesar salad is not for me. It looked REALLYREALLY good, but my ignorance led me to order it. I didn’t know Cuban food has cilantro in it and my taste buds are really really adverse to cilantro. Good thing I had the Banh Mi fries to fall back on! Love them! Everything was fresh and prepared piping hot! It isn’t fast food so don’t expect it to zip out of the kitchen. We were the only customers at 11am(early lunch) so the wait was fine. I can’t imagine what the tru lunch time crowd is like. Would be worth the wait for this heavenly tastiness! :)

Ordered the Cuban Caesar with Chicken. I told the woman at the register that I was diabetic, she asked what type, I said TWO, she said, «Get the Cuban Caesar with Chicken and no Croutons!» I agreed! I watch the kitchen crew assemble my order. One was adding the ingredients to a large salad bowl, then proceeded to toss it. Another was grilling my chicken while yet another guy prepared my salad container, fork and napkins. This was all happening while Joelle, the woman at the register was shaking her fist in the air as if she was rockin out at a rock concert. She was obviously happy, upbeat and expressing herself. I smiled at her. The salad tasted fresh and full of flavor with chunks of garlic and cheese. Reminded me of a great Italian vinaigrette dressing. The chicken was marinaded in some herby stuff and tasted just as wonderful. It was also served hot. The only drawback would be wilted lettuce if you take it to go, so suck it up and grab a table and people watch as you grub on this magnificent creation of a salad. 5 Stars for a great salad when eating there and NOT taking it to go. Simply Wonderful!!!
