I travel around a lot, usually I always go back to the same few places that I know when I am home, but my beard was in need of a cleanup and I had an interview that would come before my customary trip to the barber when I got home. I looked online, called them up, and was told to just come in when I can.
I arrived at the shop before closing time (as did many people after me). Come early if you can, there’s a rush at closing time! Evan was great, he cleaned up my beard, did the head shave, took his time, and made great conversation. I will definitely be back!

Nothing but good things to say about this place. I’ve had 4, FOUR different people cut my hair in a row here and I’ve had the same result each time over the last 4 months — a hair cut and shave exactly the way I want it. Not your average barber shop.
Reasonably priced, friendly staff, comfortable setting. New go-to for me.

Hubby and I have been going to the same barber in Salem for years. When we saw the reviews here, we thought we would give The Original Barber Shop a try.
Glad we did. Even and his team did a fantastic job and took time and effort to give us both fantastic cuts.
My undercut rocks.
The space is very clean and comfortable and modern. A space you would want to go to.
Handicapped assessable as well.
We will be back!

I’ve been going to the same «barber» shop for years. The only guy that was good in the place just quit. The other girls just didn’t know to cut hair frankly. After searching online I tried this place.
Don’t be fooled by the place when you walk in the door. Nothing fancy. That said, they know how to give a real haircut!
For any guy out there that needs a real fade and wants someone to spend the time doing it right, don’t go anywhere else. $ 18. Cash only. You can’t beat it. Well worth it. I’m sold and will continue to return.

I normally cut my own hair, but I was getting married so I actually needed a good cut. My best friend found this place because it’s apparently the only one that also does shaves. We got there early on Saturday May 23^rd and my friend went first. He just got a shave (he’s bald).
I got a shave and a cut, but the barber was very patient and wanted to do a good job, so it took him about 45 minutes. I have a tough beard and it was a lot of work. He was clearly not in a rush and really cared about doing a good job. Barber was chatty and did a fantastic job.

YAY! We found a barber shop that is closer to us that both BBB and the hub can go to!
The shop is right off of 28 but not obviously visible on 28. It’s on the left side of the visionworks building. You’ll see the barber pole! Plenty of parking!
There’s a bathroom which is a plus especially just in case BBB needs to be changed!
Comfy waiting chairs and sofa that BBB enjoyed.
TVS equipped at each barber chair.
Wifi is available too!
We had Evan cutting BBBs hair and he looks so handsome! Just in time for Easter!
Jeff cut the hubs hair and he looks like a new man!
The barbers put so much attention to detail and time… Hence the 2 thumbs up from me! and the boys love their hair!
Very friendly crew that welcomes all ages.
We’ll be back when we need another haircut!
