Always dead here now after the shooting outside the establishment. They have huka tables around the dance floor and tables outside. One bar inside and one outside.

This is seriously my new favorite bar in SLC. We went there last weekend and it was so much fun. They have a super spacious dance floor and the music was so on point. The drinks and hookah were both great and everyone I was with had a lot of fun. There was a lot of opportunities to dance for extroverts, but also plenty of space to hang back and mingle for introverts. Not a lot of bars can say that, which made this a really good place that all of my friends could agree on. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for a fun place to go with a large group– especially birthday/bachelorette parties.

A few years ago when this place served sushi and 80% of the patrons seemed to be strung out on H… It was good. Not my crowd but it was solid. Now? I’m not sure what the hell happened… Tonight doing a bar crawl… All I can say is wow. A 5 dollar cover charge with under 20 people in the bar? And the first encounter was a patron talking poo to the door guy. Long story short, this place is filed with more cocks than a farm. Time to leave, why give them any more money to ruin my night. As an upside the staff was friendly but dear God the rest of the atmosphere… Tragic.

Circle Lounge decided to host a group of us(their mistake). The place is a very spacious watering hole with a big lounge area, a bar, and an outside space that’s like a long driveway. They tried to do some decent lighting in the lounge area but it doesn’t come off so well in the darkness & the light fixtures aren’t attractive. The outside seemed right though with the paint & graffiti on the walls and plenty of tables. They had hookah too. It reminded me of my friend’s underground parties, and the makeshift bar was fine but it wasn’t a full bar outside. They had whiskey though so I was fine. The music was mostly pop hits, but I’m not sure if the DJ is normally there or if he was there for our group. The place hardly had any locals there though. It was a Friday night and there were probably 5 people there from outside of our group. Huh? Gracie’s on the other hand seemed jam packed. Must be a reason

I recently visited Circle Lounge on a Saturday night, but unfortunately it wasn’t busy as my past visits. This place has a lot of promise, though. They have a nice sound system, cool bartenders, a huge patio area with several tables that you can reserve and huka if you want to smoke! You’re most likely going to hear a mixture of top 40 remixes, hip hop and electronic dance music. The dance floor inside is a decent size with table sections along the sides that you can reserve. There are also several tables outside that you can book as well, which would be great during the summer months.

Welcome to jersey shore where the douche bags come out fast and the drinks are slow. Don’t bother trying to find a table if you didn’t reserve one. Yes they serve hookah but getting a refill is close to impossible. They have an outside dance area which is nice but crowded and they also serve drinks out there. A lot of ass grabbing here and teeny boppers. What happened to this place?

Ughhhhh this place blows. Upon arrival, my male friends and I where searched intensely(without protection, or even an offer for an std test). We continued to our booth that we reserved days before and waited FOREVER to be served. Finally we enjoyed a filthy hookah with the company of less than attractive individuals now surrounding us, dancing to the worst of our generation’s top 40. My friends and I were talking and laughing amongst ourselves when two over sized, steroid-ed out individuals approached telling us we had in fact entered the wrong booth and that we needed to move down a few booths that was equal in size to the one were were already occupying. An argument emerged as we discussed the said booth. Within seconds, a greasy man small in stature entered into the discussion over the booth confusion. The small greasy man who approached us had a horrible attitude and did nothing to make this situation better, as the argument escalated he continued to tell the bouncers to kick us out. As I was leaving I informed the security guards of their lack of customer service. Their response was«get out of here, you’re a nobody!» Basically the Circle Lounge has no customer service and smells like fried chicken. DON’T WASTEYOURTIMEORMONEYTHERE.

The girls here are down… if you know what I mean. People here genuinely want to party, dance, and meet new folks. Nothing is worse than being at a club or other venue, talking to a girl and getting no response. I know not every woman in the world is going to be interested in me and I accepted that fact many years ago. However I feel like you’re at a club to talk to people and have a good time. And all the females here were definitely there to have fun and socialize. Good environment. I don’t know if I would trust the sushi, it’s just a little odd and pretentious and I don’t know if I want sushi at a club. The bathrooms are filthy, the deck is huge, and the DJ was pretty good. He had not only a show mix for music but also had matching video mixes playing the entire time, so I was sonically as well as visually stimulated. They serve drinks in plastic cups which I’m not a fan of. The crowd was very non-confrontational, and prices weren’t absurd, just typical club prices.

I can’t speak to the food or even really the quality of the drinks as I didn’t have anything special, but for the atmosphere and what’s going down, this is the coolest bar/club in Utah. Totally unexpected to even find someplace like this is boring azz Utah. The crowd is diverse, black, brown, yellow, rather than the rest of Utah that’s whiter than snow. Hot young folks havin a good time, dancing, drinking, smoking hookah and great table service. Loved it, I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

You really have to be in the mood to go here and deal with all the attitude from bouncer to door girls and servers. Mixed crowd from hoochie mamas, Asian crew, grease ball rico suave types, pretty much everybody who works out at Golds gym on van winkle. And sushi? No thanks. What i do dig is the patio and dance floor, usually great dance music and the go go dancers are hot. I love the concept of this place but not the execution.

I went to the circle lounge last Saturday and the place was packed! Cover was free for me(chick status) and I think 5 or 10 for my man. The dj was playing hip hop when I arrived and as the night went on it turned into house music. The crowd at first was kinda scary, but the later it got, the better it got. Except for the two 70 year olds who were creepin the whole time. Anyway, I was there for a friends birthday. We had a table which was nice because other than outside, there is no other place to sit. I also like it because of the hookah. Only problem with that was the waitress took a year and a half to come get it started for us. I’m not so sure about parking because we parked in my man’s work parking garage. Something else I really liked was that they had music videos playing. The bathrooms are pretty nice compared to others clubs. And either the drinks are dirt cheap or the bartender must have thought I was hot or something because when I got the receipt for my tab, it was A LOT less than what it should have been. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I’ll be going again this Saturday.

I really wanted to like Circle lounge but every time I’ve been there it’s so empty. But they do have great music and it is a really big place. The last night I came here it was a Dub-step music night and they had two DJs one in the patio and another inside. The music was great the majority of the time but both areas of the club were just dead. The service also wasn’t that great, it seems like only one server was working that night. We sat down at one of the lounges waiting to order drinks and hookah, the server never came. After waiting long enough I had to go get her attention when she stopped by the bar. I really didn’t have a bad time after that but it was really more because of the people I came with.

This place could be awesome, it’s a great location with easy access and parking. Indoor and outdoor bar/dance floor. Unfortunately they have terrible DJ for the weekends and no dress code makes the place look sloppy. Also on some occasions the cover can be quite high for no particular reason at all.

Circle Lounge is a strange beast. I can’t say that I have fun when I go here, but I’m usually entertained. The people-watching is divine but you’ll have to put up with sketchy people to enjoy it. Although I strongly disagree with the $ 8 cover charge, I will say that it’s one of the only places packed on a Saturday night in SLC. I guess I don’t even want to dignify this place with an in-depth review. Please, come here at your own risk and only if you’re desperate. Oh and get excited to walk down the wannabe red carpet upon entering… it’s a true testament of what lies ahead. Find Me In: whatever I have that’s ugliest. The girls here are in the most provocative clothing that Utah has to offer so I dress down in order to make some sort of statement that’s only amusing to me. A couple more visits and I might go in an adult-sized onesie. Yes, I own one and I’m not afraid to wear it.

Not a bad club, not a bad club at all. No cover which is the most revolutionary thing for a ripped off canadian like myself. On saturday night, there was good music(techno) inside. For a very popular club, there wasn’t too bad of a crowd, either. The sushi bar was, yeah. The chef wouldn’t acknowledge us standing in front of him, so after ten minutes, we took a plate sitting on the counter when he walked away. The sushi wasn’t that good. But again, this is Salt Lake, not SFO, so I didn’t expect the fish to be that good. That a club would have a sushi bar in it was pretty dope, but I think ramen would have been better ’cause that’s the best hangover cure. Ever. I will come back.

I went to this place on a Thursday at like 9pm right when it opened. There were no more than 10 people here, and for some reason this place seemed to be lacking in the Lounge department. there were couches everywhere. the place smelled like fried food due to the sushi bar inside. all I can say about this place is Meh

Went on a friday and sat. Wow what a difference! Much thanks to the owner that was super sweet and thoughtful! You are such a great host! I prefer friday night, because saturday was just packed like no other. Only con they only had a few tequilas to select from. I didn’t expect a wide variety of tequila brands in SLC but it woulda been nice if we had a few more options!

Man, that last review was harsh! Maybe it was that night… because I’ve been there a bunch of times and never noticed a fishy smell. Atmosphere is some of the best in the city… sort of an art deco vibe with asian influence(bamboo lining the walls). Go-Go dancers on Friday and Saturday are a nice touch. I’ve been there on several nights and there’s almost two vibes to the place: M-Th: Jazz lounge, Tuesdays are half off sushi and there’s also a live jazz band. It’s a great way to unwind and BS about the day with sushi and music and the trendy atmosphere. Fri/Sat: It’s definitely a club. DJ spins good music and there’s always a crowd. A lot of muscle guys wearing small shirts… basically douchebags… ha ha. It’s still a good time and the ladies dress well, crowd is usually 20 somethings. Sometimes there’s a lot of Asian people there… which being one myself I can’t handle. Perfect number of Asians in one area is 5, spread around the facility and not concentrated in one area. Otherwise it looks like tourist night. Overall, Circle is a great place to kick it, whether on a weekend or weekday. Definitely recommend going on a Tuesday and getting hooked up with sushi.
