I currently live here. I like it it’s quiet and the neighbors are respectful. The staff is professional. The maintenance guy needs reminding of minor repairs which can be bothersome but they get done. The negative side is the parking. My car was towed because the is no free parking anywhere on the street or adjacent streets. There is two hour parking but if you stay there even 10 minutes longer you can and probably will get a $ 30 – 50 ticket. This can get expensive especially if you get a ticket every other day like I used to. Finally my car was towed(twice) once because I parked in an area that was prohibited and I did not know and the second time because my plates were expired and I had two outstanding tickets on my car. THis is an apartment complex for low income individuals and as a low income individual I was in between paychecks and could not pay those fine or renew my plates until I got paid. The city towed my car and now I have to use public transportation which is nearby. That is the biggest negative of all, was getting my car towed and constantly getting parking tickets. It’s hard on weekends for example to have to go out every two hours to move your car. It’s a pain and truth be told sometimes I would be doing chores, homework and cooking and i would forget to move my car within the 2 hour time never by more than 10 – 20 minutes but by the time I remembered my car would already have a $ 40 ticket. Already low income to begin with, these tickets created an unnecessary burden. The apartment it self if nice cozy, no amenities but then again it’s low income, just your basic apartment with a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and bathroom and a nice balcony if you’re into that.
