We went here for breakfast… were handed menus and told to seat ourselves and come back to the counter to order when we were ready. It felt like ordering food at a gas station. My breakfast sandwich and my husbands ham and cheese omelette were filled with artificial American cheese. I will say it was clean, but absolutely a waste of time. Will never go back.

Perkins used to be so good so I was hugely disappointed eating there this morning. The food was mediocre and the service was awful. The woman has no customer service skills and was at the point of throwing our food at us. Not sure if it’s part of her culture or whatever but I tried to show as much gratitude as I could(never piss off people who handle your food). The baked goods are great though but I won’t be back considering I drove from Tooele.

Everything was just average. I had the country fried steak with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes and English muffin. Potatoes and steak were dry. It was the sort of food that you’d expect at a truck stop. The chocolate muffin on the other hand was top notch.

The food was as expected which is always nice and consistent. However Jessica who helped us, was absolutely the best. She was friendly, efficient, and amazing. This girl deserves a raise.

It’s Perkins… what can you expect? Just lower your expectations if you’re hungry and waiting for your flight home. Service is down home good, but food mediocre.

Not all Perkins are the same. We walked into this smaller Perkins and expected to be seated and waited on(like Perkins back home). We were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of this one. It was pretty much self serve. Instead of waiting to be seated, we were given a menu and told we could sit anywhere. Once we looked over the menu, we approached the counter, placed our orders, paid, and got our own drinks. They brought the food to our table when it was ready. No waiting game here. Food was freshly made and tasted good.

Our food was excellent. I didn’t have high expectations, and was very pleasantly surprised. I had the breakfast menu’s steak and eggs. The eggs were perfect. The steak pieces and mushrooms(no onions, special order), were better than most restaurants I’ve been to, including much pricier places. The fresh fruit was cantaloupe, honeydew, and grapes… not only fresh, but GOOD. Usually I ignore cantaloupe and honeydew, but these were yummy. My husband and one son ordered omelettes, and they were superb. Also unexpected. My other son ordered a burger and was very happy with it. The fries were amazing. Definitely 5 stars. My perception of Perkins is completely altered.

Perhaps people need to adjust their expectations or order with more discretion when visiting this restaurant. Of course they’re going to use mashed potatoes made from a box, and not everything is going to come out perfectly — it’s an airport. hotel. Perkins. That said, the pot pie seems to be a good choice, and whomever is in charge of buying the ranch dressing for this restaurant is awesome because it tastes great.

Perkins is gross basically. Maybe it’s because I stayed in the attached hotel for over a month one time, and this was all I ate. But after not coming here for like 3 years, I came in and got steak and eggs. Greasy, oily, fatty, watery, chewy, yucky. Makes me want to be a vegetarian. They do have pies, and pot pies, and some pretty tasty sweet treats. If i ever come here again, it will be just for those types of things.

If I could give negative stars I would. WAYOVERPRICED for cafeteria grade food. I should have taken a picture but I didn’t want to embarrass my mom who was dining with us from out of town. I’m glad I didn’t pick the place or I would have been utterly embarrassed. The pot roast should have been $ 5 not $ 12. Absolutely, will not be going back EVERYAGAIN!

So, the set up for ordering is kinda a weird deal. You have to order first at the counter then they bring it out to you, which kinda reminds me of a cafeteria The staff is unhappy and disconnected, but they treat you nicely. For that reason I give it one star. The food is way over priced for what you get and is horrible. Really embarrassing actually. I will not be back. Fat kid un-approved!!!

Typical diner, but with counter service. The dining room & bathrooms are super clean, the folks are nice, and the food is good. They also give hotel guests a 10% discount, and room charging privileges. Super convenient being connected to the Fairfield Inn.

If you like Burger King you may like this restaurant. You go to the counter and order your food, pay, then get your own drinks and refills. Not like any Perkins I have ever been to. When you pay they have a line to add a tip. I thought tips were for good service.

I really enjoyed Perkins living in Idaho but this is not the same kind of restaurant. You get the same menu items but you order and pay just like at McDonald’s or Burger King. The wait staff was not very good either. I would recommend a different restaurant if you want a sit down, enjoyable meal.

The food wasn’t fresh i believe they microwaved my Turkey breast and the sides needed more seasoning. The cashier was very nice and the apple pie was good.

Have you ever seen«Restaurant Impossible»? That show where the angry British guy goes around telling bad restaurant owners all the things they need to fix? Boy, would he have a field day with this place! I had an overnight stay at one of the airport hotels, and being carless, needed a place within walking distance. This was the only option. It was Perkins or starve. I chose Perkins, but maybe I should’ve chosen starve. I ordered the turkey dinner, which came with stuffing, mashed potatoes, and a side salad. $ 12 for all that, and yet it was no bargain. The potatoes were thin and watery, clearly from a box. Either a box or a very bad chef. Ditto the stuffing. The turkey didn’t have much flavor, and had the stiff texture of microwaved turkey. It reminded me of that last portion of Thanksgiving leftovers that you eat, like, 6 days after Thanksgiving, the one that makes you throw out any remaining leftovers, lest you get sick. Any upsides? Well, the service was friendly, and I guess I didn’t starve. For captive audiences only.

I ordered the open face turkey sandwich with no sides for $ 9.19 that was clearly shown on the menu. I’m charged $ 12.38/before taxes even after I pointed out the price to the brainiac behind the counter. He says«don’t know what to tell you, the price is $ 12.38.» I walked out. What a hole. Don’t waste your time eating here.

Didn’t know there was a Perkins in Utah until saw this one tucked away or in a small business park West of the airport. This location is attached to a budget airport hotel which isn’t a bad thing but it is much smaller than normal Perkins restaurants and is obviously geared towards travelers who are stopping over briefly on their way to somewhere else. I ordered a chicken strip sandwich which was tasty but very greasy. The fries were so greasy I could only find a few I dared to eat. Being in Utah they did provide fry sauce. Service was very friendly although not particularly fast but I had an hour to kill during a lunch break so this didn’t bother me much. Ordering was strange for a Perkins as you ordered from a fast food type menu rather than being seated and getting waitress service. Overall 3 stars for the friendliness, okay but greasy food and the oddness of it all…

This is a set up for air travelers It has a limited menu compared to what I remember Perkins offering and you have to order at the counter That being said the service was attentive and the food was decent coffee shop fare and after a long day of flying that is what you want and need PS the breakfast potatoes are great

This is NOT Perkins. You have to order upfront and pay, then they bring you your food. Self service for drinks. The menu is not the same as Perkins and the food is nowhere near as good. Instant mashed potatoes… really? Packet gravy mix. Fries were nothing impressive. Ketchup bottles empty. The canned corn was the best part. Ha… also, no high chairs! Super inconvenient with a toddler. NOT impressed and I usually LOVE Perkins.
