The quality of this place has really fallen off since it first opened. Sandwiches come out cold with soggy bread, you might have a bunch of standing water at the bottom of your salad, that kind of thing. Pass on this place, you can get a better sandwich down the street.

Even during training, the first week they were open, when there were 3 employees per customer, they still got the order wrong. Sandwiches dry. Nothing to write home about.

First time at any of these restaurants…
Workers seem to talk more than actually work, especially some skinny worker in a blue shirt today. He had a long line and was telling another coworker a story. Then the woman employee (in red) that was being told the story kept her back facing the long line that kept getting longer. She wasn’t doing anything but kept walking behind the counter.
Another man (in black) finally stepped up and took our order. I thanked him for stepping up to take our order. He did a great job taking our order with accuracy and efficiency. Thank you to this guy! I spoke to him afterwards and he is a new employee. Hopefully other employees here learn from his example.

It’s ok. I’m more of a Jason’s Deli kind of girl. I don’t mind Mcalister’s every now and then but sometimes it all tastes the same to me.

Oh man. Sandwiches, spuds, or soups galore. I love eating here over Jason’s Deli. Now that I live in Austin I actually used to think the opposite. But you dont know what you’ve got til it’s gone. I prefer the Mexican spud with brown gravy and add Roma tomatoes and jalapeños. Yumm.

Love our local store on Sherwood! Food is always fresh and delicious. Service is typically very good and soup always hot and flavorful.
Loaded pot roast potato and their Reuben sandwich and potato salad are great.
The Reuben is about the only one in town that I can find that when the craving comes to me, this is where I am going!
Phone orders could use some improvement if calling in direct to the store but they always make it right by you the next visit if you don’t have time to bring back the food and if you don’t check it before you leave.

I have never had a bad experience here! Our orders come out right and they always make a great Arnold Palmer. They have a great menu selection and fast service even when busy.
I am giving it 4 stars because the server/​workers do not come up to the tables to refill drinks anymore, something I really liked.
