the beer is COLD and there is good service at the bar.
the food always comes out hot and i really appreciate that.
any time we’ve had an issue, it is addressed and corrected (gift card!)
the menu is extensive, they get an A+ from me

We came this afternoon for my nephews 18^th BD. The server was nice. She didn’t have too much of a personality, but then again, it’s not a true requirement. They seem to help each other out quite a bit. All of our food came out at the same time so no one had to wait (there were 17 of us).
The food was really good. They give the kids good sized portions and it includes the drink and dessert (ice cream or a cookie). That’s a bargain!
Overall this was a very good experience. They don’t sing to the birthday guest but they do offer a free dessert for them if they are under 21. We were told of they are over 21 they can have the dessert OR a beer and a shot.
This could have been a 5 star review but I just didn’t get the great jive from the server, even tho she was efficient AND when I went to pay the bill she shorted me on my change by $ 50. Since I got my money back I did not make a big deal about it. They just need to be careful about that. Some folks are not as nice.

5 stars because they sell a drink called a Pain Killer that’s amazing. Food is always amazing and the servers and very well trained. Love this place.

Food was good had the rib and fried pickles, atmosphere was good, staff was not very attentive sat half the meal with empty glass.

I ordered a 6 oz Pepper Jack Burger and fries and it was great. Shared some Gringo Dip with friends and MYYYYYYY GOOODNESS IT WAS GOOD!!! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food immensely. Our server wasn’t very attentive and we had a good size party who would tipped well but she was mostly unavailable. The restaurant wasn’t that busy that we couldn’t have gotten more consistent attention. I will go back and try other menu items because there’s a lot to choose from.

Julian was the best server ever! Super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. The food and drinks were pretty good, and I loved the atmosphere. This is a great casual place to grab standard American food.

The BEST fried pickles I’ve ever had. You don’t even need the ranch for them to taste yummy. That’s the ultimate test for a good fried pickle. I’m one who always tries to pick out new places to eat that have fried pickles and this place seriously wowed me. Their gringo dip was super yummy as well with their waffle fries!

Awesome happy hour prices. Half price appetizers can make for a great dinner! ! We come here frequently.
Their potato soup is awesome. Baked potato and salad are great as well. Really good chicken fried steak as well.
My husband likes their burger or club sandwich.

Horrible food wait time too long server rude disappointed because it’s just down the street.

Always have a great experience when I go. And I go often for the food and drinks! I did have one small encounter of a not so good day. and when it was pointed out to the manager, it was taken care of. The staff is all so great and I always come back for the food and service. I recommend the gringo dip and strawberry margaritas. Me and my bf always get the gringo dip at every visit.

Great place to chill, drink and eat a great steak. Our Waitress Michelle was awesome and Manager presented himself to double check on our order.

We didn’t know that this was a franchise, it looked very appealing from the outside, so we went in for Lunch.
Good Service and Atmosphere, but we were all expecting a bit more of food on the platter, you know Texas style :)

Short and simple:
The food is consistently good. The service is inconsistent at best. We went this past Sunday for lunch around 1PM. We waited about ten minutes to be sat (which was expected) but once we were seated, it took our server over ten minutes to greet us and get our drink orders. The incredibly slow service continued throughout the meal, with the server disappearing multiple times. At one point we looked over and saw that a couple that came in well after us had been seated and had their food and drinks when we had just received drinks. There are a lot of restaurants around San Antonio, and even though the food is good it is frustrating to go to a restaurant and receive such poor service.

Great atmosphere. Love the patio. Great times with friends. The pretzels are sooo good. Happy hour is from 3 – 6 half price appetizers. And several drink specials. My only complaint is the service. .kinda slow

Ok, I never post but have to say something about this place.
First of all where is the manager or do they even have one??? Employees at bar every time I come here are playing with their phones and gathered together talking and ignoring customers!!! Just got my wings as I’m doing a review… Guess I’m supposed to eat my boneless wings with no silverware!!!
I keep coming back because they serve ipa beers here and the bar area is nice but the manager should be fired and the bar staff with.
Here’s to Generation Y’s great service everywhere they work. No values, poor service and no desire to work.

Great food robust with flavor now my favorite lunch place. Love the fried pickle spears wow, Maui Jim salad yum the jalapeño margarita nice kick but I added shot watermelon to it perfect

the resturant it self was fairly new, we entered at 5:00 and was greeted by the host are name was taken and we where handed a timer, I walked to the restroom to find the restroom was unattended for obviously hours, and in much need of attention , with paper all over the sink, due to the fact the garbages were filled, in the cost out counter tops, no toilet paper just a mess, MInd you staff members also utilized this bathroom
we continued to wait as it was suppose to be a 10 to 15 min wait now 30 minutes later with over 6 to 8 in one area empty tables in view, we were seated at a table and weren’t greeted for about 10 mins after being seated now making in 540 waitress came to see if anyone helped us and sent another waitress our way now are food order wasn’t taken till 600pm we put out food order I. and the food came out fast a I might say was very tasty and proportions sizes were good, to bad the staff experience already had put a bitter taste in our mouth, it appears as if you weren’t in a large party or order liquor you weren’t noticed. I’m going to try another location and hope the service and overall experience is better then the one on the south side .Most of the staff appear to be very young in in much need of training. And not one manger made an appearance ;(

Management needs to train the people who answer the phones. They have poor customer skills. City base location.

This was my first time eating here and it was delicious! The fried pickles are good and the meals were exactly what we expected. They are very detailed on the menu when it comes to knowing what is on and in your entrée. They have a large variety of beers and mixed drinks that I really enjoyed. The margaritas being my favorite here. The customer service is great as well! I’m sure we will visit again!
