Regular old Chinese restaurant. Quick, hot and large portions. Hot and sour soup was good but a little heavy on salt. Really liked the Chicken Lo Mein. Sodas are in cans not fountain FYI.

Typical chinese comfort food! I’ve had their general Tso’s chicken, black bean chicken, hot and sour soup and ma la chicken! All categorized as «spicy» but not enough for me! I enjoyed their service and would probably order again if I stay at Double Tree Hilton SA Intl airport.

Well I was in the mood for Chinese so googled and got Bean Sprout close to me. Ordered Orange Beef mild with extra sauce. Worst I have ever had! They must have been out of oranges because there was no sign or taste of them in my dish. Crab puffs were okay a bit chewy but that could have been because of delivery. Beef fried rice was fine nothing special. Scratch this one of my list.

I am a sushi fanatic. When I found out they delivered I ordered right away. They have great tasting rolls and the crab puffs are fantastic! Not the best sushi I’ve ever had but really good for delivery! Also, the delivery time was on point! They said 45 mins and it was here in 45 mins! Great job!

When my husband arrived to the restaurant at the prime time dinner time. We noticed that the restaurant was empty(4 other customers). The emptiness should have been a sign which we should of left. My husband ordered the sesame chicken and egg drop soup. My husband told that the sesame chicken is spicy which it was not. The egg drop soup was plain and flavorless. I ordered the duck which i eat often just not at this restaurant. The duck was dry and plain which i was very disappointed. We will never eat here again.

Incredibly mediocre Chinese food. After having been traveling since 4AM, I decided to order dinner for delivery. I opted for the Kung Po chicken with fried rice, hot and sour soup, and an appetizer of fried dumplings. Out of all three, the dumplings were the best.(Albeit they were no longer crispy by the time they arrived.) As for the others… The hot and sour soup had the sour down, but there was no heat to it. In general it just lacked depth of flavor. The chicken and fried rice were incredibly disappointing. The sauce for the chicken was gelatinous and gummy. There was heat, but no real flavor. As for the fried rice, it’s hard to go wrong but, somehow, this one lacked any flavor at all. No taste of onion, no taste of egg, nothing. All to say, it was edible because I was hungry, but I would not let such dishes pass if I were eating in the restaurant. After the delivery fee and a three dollar tip, I feel like I just wasted $ 25. Lame. The only reason I gave them three stars instead of two is because the lady who took my order was incredibly friendly and helpful. Oh, I should mention, even my fortune cookie was stale! What in the world! Let that be your sign.

Came here after hearing rave reviews from my Son who ate here recently. Was not disappointed! Very friendly and fast service, and the food was off the charts! My new favorite Chinese restaurant in San Antonio! Will be back soon.

Place was deserted on a Saturday afternoon, which should have told me enough. The prices were outrageous for the quality of food. Two stars just because the server was courteous and the portion size was decent. But 14 $ for 5 pieces of mediocre quality sashimi? Might as well go to a real sushi place and get better quality for the same price. The Chinese dishes are cheap takeout at best. Definitely not worth the time.

Food decent. Had Tigers eye and Akaskan sushi roll. Both good. Chick lo mein used thin noodle. Expected thicker noodles but tasted fine anyway. Décor was blah/haphazardly put together. Tabled not bused very quickly as many were dirty when we arrived. Service was appropriate. Bathrooms smelly. Sadly, will not return.

I’ve never had their Chinese food but I have had their sushi rolls on a couple of occasions. Personally, I think they’re better than the 2 stars they have if you’re just eating their rolls. In fact, I’ve been to virtually all of the Japanese places in town because of my Japanese wife, and even she has enjoyed her meals here — but then again she sticks with the traditional rolls e.g. futo maki. The waitress was very kind but seemed to still be learning the trade. I think that she’ll work out once she gets some experience. Lastly, they are a bit on the slow side so expect a wait even if the place seems rather empty…

Food was average to say the least, front desk was on her cell phone when we arrived… unattentive… the waiter was decent until 2 other tables were seated. Then he disappeared… wont return

This place is absolutely ridiculous bought a Groupon for 4 Guest called ahead they said it would be okay to have 3 at the table. Once we got there they could not honor the Groupon because we need a fourth body… what and the HELL… I was going to order an extra plate, and the three of us were we’re going to order more than enough food they were even going to make an extra $ 20… Needless to say they refused… they still could not explain why … I will never go there. I will never even talk about again … the waiter and waitress were just airheads !!!

My opinion on the Bean Sprout is very hit or miss. More hit than miss. However, it’s one of my boyfriends favorite restaurants. I’ve eaten here an gotten delivery. Each time the staff has been incredibly nice. Last time I was at the restaurant I’m pretty sure they were in the process of remodeling some things. It was still nice and clean though. Delivery usually comes pretty fast unless you order on a friday or saturday night. it can definitely take a lot longer. The longest I have waited was almost an hour and a half but when the guy showed up he apologized and didn’t charge me for the soup i ordered. I’ve gotten a few things off their menu. I love the egg drop soup! I get it all the time. The sweet and sour chicken is good to. The sweet and sour shrimp is just okay. I’ve had better on that. I also like chicken lo mien. My boyfriend swears b the mongolian beef. He gets his really spicy. We’ll definitely keep eating here!

Had this place for delivery yesterday. The delivery time was 45 mins but took 15 more mins. At least the delivery man was very friendly. I ordered the dragon roll and the sweet and sour chicken. I didn’t expect the best quality roll because it wasn’t their main, but what I got was just inedible. Getting eel for delivery was a big mistake cause by the time I got my food, the roll was slightly on the colder side. The sweet and sour chicken was soggy. I don’t know how long it’s been since they made it and left it sitting before they actually delievered the food. If the prices weren’t that high. I wouldn’t complain. But for the price I paid, it was definitely not worth getting.

Very good, a new must for me when visiting San Antonio. I tried: mongolian beef, which was great, hot and sour soup, a tasty eggroll and sweet and sour shrimp, which was just ok. 5 stars for the beef and the great service: waiter did a great job and the lady at the desk was nice; we asked to dine there with a fast food happy meal for our child, and that wasn’t any problem. Fully recommended.

I’m giving them 4 stars because of the service. We called for delivery to our hotel room. They were extremely friendly. The man who delivered was also extremely friendly. The food was okay. Had Chinese food and sushi. Both were average. Nothing to get excited about. Would I eat there again? Yes. But probably inside the restaurant.

Came here with a groupon for sushi. The sushi was actually really good and tasted fresh. If you’re judging a book by its cover, trust me the décor is questionable, the windows are all covered and the tables have plastic tableclothes which makes you think maybe they’ll be closing soon, but the food was surprisingly good and the waiter we had was very attentive. Don’t know if I’ll come here again for Chinese but I can definitely say the sushi was great.

I always enjoy coming to this place! They are what brought me back to American-made sushi… no matter what that wreck of a sushi place over in The Quarry does to ruin it! I particularly like the Alaska Roll while my family is more adventurous. When they start working on the décor and the seating, I’m sure I’ll go to a 5.
