First time there tonight… all i have to say is… one of SA’s best kept secrets. Lets keep it that way! From the only «guero» there tonight, you made me feel welcomed! Again, dont mind if we keep it that way!

Cheap drinks and a fun atmosphere, definitely has a certain crowd but all the people I met there were cool and down to earth people. Seems like most of the reviews on this place are judging a book by it’s cover. I had a great time here.

Why do all the places I like get such a bad rap? The Broadway Bar is prime example of a solid joint with semi-​bad reviews. It’s located in a strip mall and north of 410… so it’s not in the best location. The outside SCREAMS… G-​H-​E-​T-​T-​O… but the inside is nice with plenty of space. Now that I mentioned it… I can’t ever recall this place ever getting packed. Which means to me… I dont wait to get a drink. There are darts and pool tables if your in the mood. I like the wall seating with marble table top… «give it a little something extra don’t you think» (In my best Elle Woods impression)… Any-​who Iove this place… great happy hour specail. cheap-​cheap!

What’s interesting about Broadway Bar is its location. It’s right outside the loop, down the street from two very busy bars and yet it doesn’t get a lot of action. Which it should. Broadway Bar is a sizable place. There are great couch areas to sit in around the bar. When I went they had some great live music. The fact that the bar isn’t frequented gives it a low key vibe which is great, especially if you’ve already visited the bars up the street and need to end your night on a casual note. The drinks are well priced and it’s a great place to go to have a low key night.
