Couture Lash Boutique

I’ve had lashes done by 4 different people and Katherine is by far the best. She is very professional, thorough and even goes as far as to explain the process with you. She is an Extremelash professional which i found out is the best in lashes.
Everywhere else I have gone, you just lay down and they start glueing. She takes her time and asks you what you want to achieve. She gives you options and is very honest about what your natural lashes can support.
Everywhere else I have been they rush you in and out only to have large clumps of lashes fall out within a week. Katherine takes her time and I never had clumps fall out. There were times where I still had half my lashes at 3 weeks!
The boutique is convenient, clean and quiet. Very relaxing. If you’re serious about getting quality lashes, this is the place. You definitely get what you pay for.

Needed a touch up on my lashes before I had to fly back to Cali and it was the worst mistake ever… The girl who «touched up» my lashes yanked out healthy lashes and then added on the most cheap looking lashes that I didn’t even agree to… I’ve been getting my lashes done for years and never have I ever had anyone pull out perfectly good lashes so that they could charge me extra. When it came time to pay ONLY THEN did she notify me that she put in a new set… I told her that this wasn’t what we agreed to and she became very aggressive and rude saying my other lash stylist did a poor job on my old set… yeah right… I never had any issues up until I came here… SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE! They don’t value their clients and they try to rip them off!

Before I decided to try this establishment for lash extensions I had been going to another place in town to get my lashes done. Having been a lash virgin so to speak I was not aware that my previous lash lady was using lashes that were way too long. They would constantly be in my eyes and would not stay upright because they were so heavy. That being said I came to Couture Lash Boutique and they gave me their basic lashes. They were finally the right length and were not falling in my eyes all of the time! Weirdly enough I came in one day to get a refill and I was told the woman who had been doing my lashes was no longer with the business. So I was told that a new employee would be doing my lashes. The new woman accidentally put their most expensive lashes on me which was no big deal because they were a huge upgrade from the lashes I had originally gotten and the lady doing them was much more professional. I came back for about 5 or 6 refills because I really enjoyed my new lashes and new lash lady. Until, that is, I came back one day for a fill and was told she was also no longer with the business. At that point I just stopped getting eyelash extensions all together because I did not want to start all over again with a new employee.

I came here for a spray tan and had a great experience. The person who helped me was Manuela and she was so sweet! She made me feel totally comfortable and relaxed and offered us refreshments in the waiting room. My tan came out great and Manuela chose a perfect color for me.
The boutique itself is super cute and they sell a lot of cute, unique accessories and clothing. The waiting room is very comfortable and they offer refreshments.
I would recommend this boutique to anyone :)

Went today for my first spray tan & I loved it! The ladies were so nice & informative. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but they put me at ease & made the whole experience great.

Beautiful, awesome, long thick lashes are her specialty! I love that each lash is individually lengthened expertly. I used to go to a different salon but my lashes always came out clumpy or glued together. Katherine is great and takes her time to make sure you always look your best.

If I could give zero stars I would. Saw them Friday, day before my graduation for a spray tan. Come Saturday I was orange and MANY spots not even done. — before Katherine (the owner) can say anything, it is NOT because of the rain that day. It was not raining when I left the place nor when I got home. I’ve had spray tans before and this is the worst. Katherine was not even there when I got the tan or even in the building yet she assumes she knows everything. I wrote my first review on Facebook only to have her respond with a VERY unprofessional comment and even posted a picture of my waiver (which is wrong on so many levels). She only wanted to blame it on me and coming in because of the rain when she wasn’t even there to begin with. Not once did she treat me like a customer and apologize and try and figure out a solution. I’m waiting to see what she will say to this review now. (Posting on negative reviews seems to be her thing). So save your time and go to another salon who is professional and actually knows what they’re doing.
UPDATE: the owner has responded back to this review and what she has failed to leave out is that she never tried to apologize but just place the blame onto me. I blocked her on social media because she was harassing me and threatening to sue me for such «false» statements when that is not the case. — I have the pictures to prove it. She went on to harass my friends as well. Very unprofessional. And it was not flooding or chance of flooding that day but clearly everything on here is a long stretch of a lie. I do not want you to contact me and I need you to stop lying and getting offended when someone posts a review. Like I said I review is a review for a reason. Not every single review can be 5 stars— unless you get your friends to go online and bump up your reviews like you did.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Katherine is nothing short of A-​MA-​ZING… I go in there looking ROUGH & leave feeling fabulous! ;) From the lashes (Xtreme and Russian!), to the airbrush tanning (Victory Blend is my personal fave, but the Fiji Express is also great, if you’re short on time), to the Tyler melts– I’m in heaven! I cannot say enough good things about Couture Lash boutique, Katherine, and her staff. If her door happened to be locked, I would beat it down to get to Katherine. I promise, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I recommend this place to everyone! The lash extentions are the best! They did my lashes for my wedding, and they were BEAUTIFUL! and throughout my whole honeymoon I had amazingly gorgeous eyelashes and didn’t have to worry once about wearing any mascera or makeup! For me, they are now a MUST for vacations!
Not only is Couture Lash Boutique the best (and I mean BEST) place to go for eyelash extensions, but they also do spray tanning and let me tell you, IT IS AMAZING! A friend and I got spray tanned here before we went on vacation with a bunch of our friends, and everyone kept commenting about how great we looked and how natural the tan looked! I am definitely going to do it again!

One of the most disappointing experiences. Door was locked and I waited 20 minutes and then left. Even called for times and no one answered. Finally, Katherine called me. She actually seemed annoyed with me when I had been the one who was early… waiting outside of a locked door!
Rule number one: Don’t argue with a customer about whether you as the owner were late or not and whether the salon door was open or not. Apologize profusely and ask for a second chance. Rule number two: Don’t act as if you don’t care whether the customer comes back. Rule number three: It is probably a good idea not to hang up on your customers.
My advice: Katherine, you may have amazing skills for extensions, but your business needs to be run more professionally. Trying to do too much with too little resources. Short fuses show that you are worn out and can’t handle the stress. Get a grip.

This is the only place I would get my lashes done. Katherine is not only an international trainer for lash extensions, she is the Best that I have found! I did my lashes for my 30 year high school reunion and no one even knew that they were not my lashes. I’m so happy with them, especially all the compliments I get! I highly recommend this place and Katherine for my beautiful lashes!

I have been going to Katherine for 3 years. She is the best! I’m pretty sure the other reviews must be fake or they did not take care of their lashes. Katherine is professional and my lashes get all kinds of compliments. Really, people just think I have naturally long lashes, which is the real compliment. I tried another salon and had to have the lashes removed because they were put on with too much glue and they took over 3 hours to apply and 2 hours to do a fill. Katherine takes all of an hour to apply a full set and a refill is around 45 minutes. My lashes always look full and natural. YOU HAVE TO TRY COUTURE LASH BOUTIQUE IF YOU WANT THE BEST LASHES!

Gave them every opportunity to prove their name and apply quality long lashes and after 3 months gave up and was left with shorter lashes than my natural.
Just because they claim to specialize in lashes doesn’t mean they provide their service and quality to everyone (that was case with me).
Research before making the dreadful expensive decision I did.

I went to the best in San Diego and tried so many in San Antonio I almost gave up but then found Catherine
She is UNBELIEVABLE! Nobody tells me I have nice extensions, everybody tell me my eyelashes or my eyes are amazing! She does an amazing job, my lashes are super full and it has been almost two weeks.
Besides, they barely fall off and when one or two do fall, I see that they aren’t stuck together but every lash is glued to one extension only, which doesn’t damage my lashes at all. Also I can’t even recognize the glue on, which is amazing because my last girl I went to put so much glue it looked bad and ruined my lashes
The lashes are beautiful and lightweight, but also dark and noticeable.
This woman is a pro… :)
