This is authentic and definitely homemade. The retried beans where perfect and the homemade salsa was fresh and flavorful.
Staff wee me attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend.

This place is so good I’m happy we finally have a restaurant in the neighborhood that offers homemade cooking nothing out of a can and inexpensive the fried pork chops and carne guisada are the best o yeah and homemade tortillas

This is the second time I have come here. Both times have been excellent. This is a small ‘hole in the wall’ place and you won’t find it unless you are looking for it. It’s not much to look at from outside but you can’t eat that so don’t let that put you off. Great place for lunch. Service has been great both times and very friendly. The food is excellent. The first time I had steak Mexicana since it was the special. It did not disappoint. Flavorful meat and plenty of grilled veggies. Be forewarned if you are not into spicy, this had plenty of heat.
The second visit I made a point to try the enchiladas. Yes, they use the required red tortillas (thankfully). They were very good and everything was hot. The homemade tortillas are the best I have every had and I have had them everywhere in San Antonio. Next time I go I will try to get a dozen to go with me to the house.
Check the hours-​this is basically a breakfast lunch place, they may be open late on Friday or Saturday.

Yesterday I had the Texas Plate. The Texas Plate promises A LOT & delivers! It had a great taste and the homemade tortillas were well made and delicious.
The Texas plate is two enchiladas, Carne Guisada, cheese enchiladas, rice, beans, 2 tortillas, lettuce and tomatoes.
Delicioso’s has a GROUPON $ 15 coupon. I got a tour of the kitchen. Very Clean. Chef Andrew Gloria leads the kitchen and I also got to meet the owner, Mark.
Today I had a Chorizo&egg, Potato & egg, Carne Guisada, and a Barbacoa taco.
My wife had the Chilaquiles plate today.
The Chilaquiles were well made, mixed well, tasted great, hot, and fresh. My wife loved the plate that includes Chilaquiles, fried potatoes, and refried beans. The fresh homemade corn tortillas were very good as well.
Delicioso’s has Breakfast plates and omelets, oatmeal.
Salads including Chef Salad, the Works Salad, Taco Salad,
Kid’s plates.
Sandwiches, burgers, burritos.

Jay Jay plate is: pork chop ranchero, chicken enchilada verde, chicken taco
Priscilla Plate is :2 chicken enchiladas, Suizas, side of chicken fajita.
Mark plate is: a small tortilla soup with 2 chicken flautas, rice, beans
Delicioso plate is: side of beef fajitas, chicken enchilada verde, beef enchilada, cheese poblano enchilada
Texas plate is two enchiladas, carbs Guisada, cheese enchiladas, rice, beans, 2 tortillas, lettuce and tomatoes.
Great place that’s been open a couple of months but is doing a great job with their quality of food and a great variety of food dishes.
We can’t wait to try some other things here.
