I used to come when it was Fire Bowl and love their food. I tried their Kung Pao, and it wasn’t the same, hardly had flavor. Although, the veggies were delicious. I also tried the coconut soup, so different from everything else. It was good and creamy, but probably I won’t get again any time soon. It was like eating arroz con leche, anything like Chinese food.

I love this place. The food is very good and it is always clean. I love using the optional chopsticks that are provided. My daughters and i would eat here all the time. Just a couple of days ago, we were shocked to see it is GONE?! WHY?! Another restaurant is in its place. Did they change names or did they close down?

A friend and I ordered two different types of meals & received the same type of noodles. Neither what we asked for. When i tried to correct my meal he just pointed at my receipt to say«no thats right»… It wasnt. Guess they gave us what they had(or didnt feel like remaking it). Guy behind the register wasn’t super greeting either, overall not very friendly looking employees. Food wasn’t bad it just felt more like a «eat your food and leave» kinda vibe.

This place has been around for at least 14 – 15 yrs. It’s had its share of different owners. The food and menu hasn’t change much. I still find it to be good, but the customer service could use some improvement… which is why it’s only getting 3 stars. So I ordered my usual make your own stir fry with shrimp, spring veggies(water chestnuts, carrots, bamboo shoots, snow peas, broccoli) and fried rice, mixed with classic Chinese sauce, and a side of crab rangoons. As usual it was piping hot and delicious. The area is really clean and the food always looks fresh. They also have a small section of classic Chinese food, but it’s mostly a stir fry restaurant. Give it a go after a day of shopping.

Fire Bowl has been a place i’ve yearned to visit since the 6th grade. However, only recently did I get the opportunity and financial freedom to try their food. I was really excited that they were doing stir fry as I have recently taken a fascination with Chinese-style stir frying. I was sure that FireBowl would meet the expectations I had in diversity and flavor. Unfortunately, their menu was created for American taste(duh!). The vegetable options weren’t very great as only the basic ‘frozen stir fry’ veggies were offered – I was looking forward to some bokchoi, crushed peanuts, celery and some unique sauces. However, the noodle options were plenty which made trying something new easy. The lemongrass tofu was mediocre simply BC it was overly sweet and sour and had too much cornstarch in it as a thickener. After trying my friend’s dish(teriyaki chicken) I determined that they used a similar base in that dish as well, but tasted more savory than the lemongrass. The noodles felt overcooked and clumpy. Would have like to taste more traditional flavors like garlic and ginger. I’m not sure if I will try Fire Bowl again, however, their customer service was great and the menu was very easy to read.

So everyone has to come to the counter to order, which really creates a bottle neck. The ‘bowls’ are for the most part ‘pre– selected’. You can pick your protein, from two choices of veggie pre-packaged and then a sauce. Not nearly as user friendly or custom as Genghis Grill and not nearly the ability to ‘have it your way’. The staff was somewhat rude, so if you’ve never been here and don’t know ‘their way’ of ordering — well, good luck as their sole focus is getting you through the line(the bottleneck) quickly. I don’t see us coming back

I am pretty sure that this place doesn’t use MSG because when I eat MSG, my joints hurt, i get a runny nose the next day and feel miserable. After I ate here, I did not get tired, so this place gets an extra star from me. I ordered the shrimp with chow fun noodles in black bean sauce with custom veggies, my husband had the gluten free ginger chicken on white rice, and i got a cup of hot and sour soup. The fact that this restaurant has gluten free options and no MSG gives it 5 stars… but then again, I am sick(literally) of eating msg from other restaurants. So if you hate MSG as much as I do, you can safely eat here!

We went to Fire Bowl to eat dinner after a movie, do not eat here. It was bland, the sauce and veggies tasted like they were from a can, the noodles were over done and the manager was pushy, overall just a bad experience!

This place is pretty good for what it is; fast, casual, americanized Asian. The place is clean, the staff is friendly & fast. The food is good. I’ve tried the Pineapple Fried Rice w/Tofu, Thai Tom Kah Soup w/Tofu, do-it-yourself Veggie Stir Fry & summer & spring rolls. They were all good & I always have enough to eat the next day. It’s a place that me & my husband can agree on & it’s conveniently located. Definitely would recommend it.

The food was fresh and prices were great. I got the fried tofu with vermicelli, kung pao sauce, and the veggie bar. My dining partner got the fried tofu, lo mein, Thai veggies, and fire sauce. My bowl was amazing. My partner’s dish had great flavors but he thought the sauce was too tomato-y. You’ll like this place if you don’t expect it to be authentic Asian cuisine. If you love vegetables, the $ 1 veggie bar is worth every penny! We’re excited to visit again and try more stir fry combos.

We went based on reviews. Not good at all… panda express is better than this food. Very bland. And the employees were about as nerdy/weird as you can imagine… seriously.

I had high expectations and was very disappointed. You pick your sauce, a meat, veggies, and your base. I got Chinese chicken with noodles. My bf got pad thai. The food took forever to come out. My dish was swimming in sauce. The sauce tasted like it came from a can. The chicken had a weird texture, possibly frozen. The pad Thai had no flavor. I would not come back here.

Sort of a Genghis Grill type place, where you choose your main ingredient, vegetables, sauce, and rice or noodles! They also have some items already created on the menu! There are a lot of vegetarian options, which are marked on the menu. Tofu is an available main ingredient for a make your own stir fry! Conveniently located in the Quarry, it’s a good place to take people with varying tastes and diets!

It was difficult for me to find. I wish I had known it was right next to Papouli’s. The interior of the restaurant was clean, but then again, I went in right after they opened. It also slightly reminded me of any other Chinese fast food place. The staff was relatively friendly. I ordered chicken pad thai to go. Tastewise, it was nothing spectacular. Not that I was expecting much for the price, but it barely tasted anything like pad thai. I’m guessing the sauce wasn’t right. Anyways, in terms of portion, it was ok and they gave a decent amount of chicken. Overall, I’d prefer Pei Wei over this place in terms of taste and atmosphere.

Today was the perfect day to sit outside enjoy the weather and some delicious food. The stir fry your way is definitely the way to go since with so many options you’ll always find what you are craving. I had the chicken veggie spring mix with Szechuan garlic sauce and the ramen noodles. My boyfriend had the chicken veggie spring mix also but with the lemongrass sauce and vermicelli noodles. They were both delicious vibrant and the veggies were still crisp rather than that soggy problem that sometimes happens. We also ordered the potstickers which were crispy and delicious as well. The service was prompt, polite and the food came out quickly.

I’ve never had an issue with this place but today 3÷27÷15, I saw an issue with the cleanliness of this place. I spotted a couple of small roaches running across the wall. I was eating my meal and then half way through, saw them and decided it would be wise if I left. What I didn’t do, and I regret, is that I didn’t let the employees know about what I had just seen. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because the food is in fact, good. I won’t be coming here for a looooong while.

This is such a great place to stop by for a quick bite to eat! I loveeeed everything! Pros — Clean restroom and restaurant — Spacious seating — Easy parking –Reasonable food portions and fast($ 7.50-$ 9) — Fast service — server was patient in explaining their menu — condiments section and it’s labeled — spicyness and flavor is not overwhelming — plenty of shops nearby so if you’re feeling really full after, you can walk it off! — safe location of restaurant — offered limes to put in your water — made fresh after you order! Will definitely be back!
