This is some good pizza. Shared the daily special, two slices of ginormous pizza and a drink, then added a drink for under $ 10. We both had pepperoni and it was really good. The thin crust was nice and crispy, not soggy. The cheese was hot, topped with delicious pepperonis. They also have another combo — slice of pizza, salad and a drink. Staff was very friendly. I will definitely come back when I’m in the neighborhood.

Very good pizza, very friendly staff. I was there 20 min. before closing and they were happy to take my order. I waited and the pizza was ready in 15 min. Definitely one of best crust I have tried. Highly recommended.

I’m a little hesitant on writing this review because I didn’t eat pizza during my first visit at Goombas, BUT I did have the spinach calzone, which was phenomenal(my spinach was melted with the cheese, *ahem*). The people I was with did order two slices of pizza each, and based off their silence while chomping away, I’m assuming the pizza was pretty damn great! One of my friends even said it was the best pizza she’d ever had, saying it was exactly how she liked it-not too much sauce, and barely any grease. The joint was pretty packed considering it was lunch time, and although the aesthetics of the place weren’t amazing, you just felt at home. Check it out!

Goomba’s in Wonderland has excellent pizza similar to the location further up I-10 at Wurzbach and also a skip, hop and jump away from the Bijou theatre so be sure to grab a slice or two from here instead of the mediocre and overpriced pies served at the theatre. You’ll be glad you did. You can’t go wrong with the 2 slices and a drink special for $ 6.75 The slices are big, foldable and piping hot just like true NY style pizza. The only minor pet peeve is that they close at 7pm so it’s not a wise choice to try and grab a slice from here if you plan to watch a late movie showing at Bijou. But its not bad for being located just inside Loop 410.

Closes at 7pm, so I guess if you work 9 – 5 job you can only pray to beat traffic to reach this place on time.

Found this place while taking kids to si-fy at crossroads. Decided to give this place a try. Now I’m in love. My whole family loves this place. Even my very picky husband that doesn’t like anything. Great wings and pizza. Now I drive from sea world just for this amazing greasy pizza.

An awesome New York style slice in the heart of San Antonio, TX. Whodathunk it? Cheese had an incredible stretch. Crust was crisp with a good chew. Sauce was on point. This slice would definitely give a few traditional pizzerias in NJ and NY a run for their money.

Great experience, quality food, but you pay a premium for it. If you have the money it’s a nice dress casual environment.

I tried the spinach ricotta pizza and gave it 5 stars since it was simply delicious. Thin, crispy crust, lots of toppings and just plain great pizza!

This place is excellent! The lunch specials are a good price and the pizza slices are huge and always fresh. They will customize your slices right there! When ordering for pickup they are very friendly and have always had the pizza hot and ready on-time.

Not too much happens at The Wonderland Mall of the Americas. If not for the Bijou Theater most of these businesses would have packed up and left. But slowly with each and every new store the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to shine. Enter Goomba’s Pizza. I remember when this used to be Sbarro’s, but now it is housed in this area rather nicely.
If you are new to the Goomba’s Pizza experience here it is in a nutshell. It is hot, fast and good. You can buy pizzas by the slice or buy a full one, but split the difference with other friends. They have calzones and salads. They offer combos with a drink, but most people just buy a slice and buy a drink from another vendor. The pizza slice I ordered was a pretty healthy size. It reminds me of the slices I used to get at Luca’s in Windsor Park Mall. They are as big as the mall! The crust is chewy, the cheese gooey and the sauce just right. I suggest you filler up before you go to a showing at the Bijou Theater, I have noticed there is more shopping upstairs and on it’s way. Goomba’s Pizza is quality stuff at fair prices. With each slice, each bite you take you are helping bring quality stores to The Wonderland of the Americas. Who ever said that a place can’t be built by new businesses alone certainly underestimates the power of the pizza to change lives. Or in this case by the slice…

Great pizza and wings. Food was hot. They delivered to the hotel we were staying at. They lost a star due to the delivery time. 100% accurate order.
