They have a fantastic location but the staff is not good. The place is hot. the flavors are good but not sure if I will come back to this specific place.

I have only wonderful memories of my first visit here. I was on vacation with a very special someone and we were visiting San Antonio from Austin for the day. We walked the Riverwalk hand in hand, enjoyed the sightseeing and people watching. Grabbed a bite to eat and we were ready for a sweet treat. It was the red and white awning that caught our attention and the sweet treat was decided… ice cream :-) Climbing the steps and entering the little shop it wasn’t busy at all. But it was also midafternoon on a weekday. We made our selection, then stepped outside to enjoy our treats at the single table with two chairs on the little platform. The young lady working this day was very kind and had a friendly smile, she took care of our orders and sent us on our way. I have passed this little shop many times since this very first visit and each time my mind travels back to that very special someone, the fun vacation we had, and the sweet find we discovered on our journey around the Riverwalk. If you catch yourself touring downtown San Antonio and in need of something sweet, pop into this comfy little shop and they can take care of you!

Mmmm. Haagen-Dazs. Not a ton of flavors available but satisfies the sweet tooth regardless. Ladies, get the kiddie size. It’s less money and calories.

What grossed me out the most was that one of the employees kept touching their hair the entire time we were in there. Not only did I clearly see a visible hair straighter plugged in on the counter, but, the ladies were very rude and unfriendly. They also DONOT honor the coupon that was posted on this app or any military discount.

When at the Alamo, eat Haagen-Daz. Always a good stop when doing the tourist stuff with visitors. Take your ice cream and walk across the road to enjoy the view. Dulce de leche is delicious.

Expensive, no peppermint bark cones left and the staff weren’t particularly friendly. But as options go on the river walk, its tasty, there’s about 20+ flavours to choose from and if you get one of the outdoor seats, there’s a lovely view.

There were no prices anywhere that I could see which usually meant it was expensive. It was around $ 7 for two scoops of ice cream in a cup. I suppose it was expected to be that much since this place was located in the Riverwalk. There were only two tables inside and maybe a couple of chairs outside. This was a small place so be prepared to take your ice cream outside. The ice cream was good but for the price, it wasn’t worth it.

Haagen-Dazs is outside the Rivercenter Mall. It’s no secret the price, the kajillion calories, what they have and how good it is. Always in the mood for ice cream when my job travels me, and driving around(before I knew how close Rivercenter Mall was to my hotel, I had seen Haagen-Daz.) I couldn’t figure out where to park, so I left my car at the hotel and walked to Macy’s…and I figured out where Haagen-daz was. It is outside the mall, but I guess they still consider it the Riverwalk. I had a caramel milkshake. It was one I saw on a picture while contemplating what to order. It was really good, as expected. Caramel swirls were on the outer boarder of the milkshake which I could see in the glass. I think it was called«caramel cone milkshake.» The ice cream so creamy and perfectly blended with a pretty swirl on top. I’ve never eaten at a Haagen-daz shop, so this was a treat. They don’t have any chairs or tables in there so I took it inside the mall, and despite 40,000 children on Alamo field trips, I found a table to sit at and enjoy. Ca ching: $ 7…which I took off as a meal expense, after all, ice cream makes a wonderful lunch.

It was delicious! If you have to pick a place for desserts I would pick haagen dazs for the place!

Yum. Expensive like crazy but very yummy. My child’s cup was $ 3.85. Our total for 3 people was about $ 15.(Child’s cup and two double-scoop cones) Their ice-creams are always creamy and yummy. I really enjoyed my coffee ice-cream. I loved that it wasn’t cloyingly sweet. It did, however, made me a little musical and that’s not a good thing when you’re on a road trip. :x

Baileys Irish Cream shake is definitely the way to go at Haagen-Dazs! This location is tricky to find if you are on the street level. It’s a small space with very limited seating indoors(maybe like one table) and limited seating outdoors. You’ll want to grab this to go. The night we went(which if I remember correctly was a Saturday) there was only one employee working. Not a good idea. However, when you are getting ice cream, most everyone is in a good mood. Enjoy!
