Nosh was great! Service at silo is not the best. The bartender did not want to work that night and was terrible to be around. We moved back to nosh since the service was a significant improvement…

Fantastic! We loved every bite of our truffle oil fries, mussels and wild boar sliders. We also love the idea that they keep the menu small so they can change things up every few months. We will be back!

We have eaten at Silo a few times so we thought we would try out Nosh. We tried the mac n cheese with wild boar and pizza bianca. They were both great dishes. We tried a couple of their specialty drinks, cucumber refresher and New York sour… highly recommend.

First time here. Only came here for the fried risotto that everyone posted pictures of… Sadly, they removed it off the menu! Bummer. Sliders were also removed from menu… So all of the pictures that enticed me to come here in the first place don’t even exist. Ended up with the wild boar pizza, not bad.

Came here on a special date night with my husband. We were less than impressed with the service. When we got there we waited a very long time for someone to take our drink order and then we waited even longer to actually get our drinks and have our food order taken. They were not busy at the time, only 2 other tables were taken. We ordered the cheese plate and the truffle fries which were excellent. We also ordered the margarita pizza which was a stretch… it was just a cheese pizza with basil. It was VERY greasy, but it wasn’t horrible. Food was fine, service was bad, but the prices were great… very inexpensive. $ 35 for 2 cocktails, 2 appetizers & a pizza. Can’t beat that …

I got raw chicken. That is not cool. Chicken scaloppine. Sorry guys, I was expecting something better from a trendy looking place.

Chef Luca’s dishes are simply amazing! We tried a variety of things from the menu, and loved every bite. The lemon chicken scallopini was just the right balance of sweet lemon and saltiness from the capers, and the fried quail legs were perfectly cooked. We got both types of cannoli for dessert, and honestly can’t decide which one we liked better! We will definitely come back!

When you enter Nosh, the first thing you’ll hear is, «Are you here for Silo?» It’s a little confusing(Silo is the sister restaurant upstairs); you’d think they’d come up with another way to greet customers. After visiting Nosh twice, I’d give it a solid 3.5 star rating. The dinner options are good, and the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the chopped salad both times, because I liked it that much, but looking over the menu again I’m sad I didn’t see the mushroom and kale crepes(I guess I’ll have to go back!). We’ve also had the truffle fries, which are pretty standard. My husband had a pasta dish that was good, although it didn’t have a ton of flavor. I appreciate Nosh’s plentiful vegetarian options, and the portion sizes are a good size even for being a «small plate» restaurant. They also have a varied selection of beer.

Yum! A friend and I went here for lunch before going to the McNay. Service was quick and our server was friendly and helpful with giving advice on menu items. I appreciated her honesty about portion sizes – what would be enough for two, what was a little smaller, etc. I also appreciate that she didn’t try to upsell us into buying more than we could actually eat. The food was perfect for sharing. The shrimp salad, fried asparagus and wild board sliders were ask very tasty and just enough for two people needing a light lunch. I’d order all of it again! I’d recommend going during the day, the place only had a few other tables filled so it was very peaceful. The ambience was calm and casual, but stylish. I will be back.

Came for a quick bite! Great as usual. Kale salad with fried chickpeas was especially good. Partner loved the mushroom/kalamata crêpe. Good service.

Stopped with a friend of mine for lunch just before Christmas. The place is small and of course attached to Silo’s. We met on his break from ‘the Sam’. Yep, small plates. You get to share. I do enjoy the concept. I ordered an unsweet iced tea; this tea was excellent! Orange, peach, & ginger maybe? Loaded with flavor, I imbibed four glasses of the stuff, good stuff. We ordered wild boar sliders, truffle oil & Parmesan fries, the trio of spreads with house toast, and the shrimp salad. The boar was moist & tasty served with the shallot & jalapeño it was magical. The fries were served with this sauce… maybe mayo, ground mustard & horseradish? These were some damned good fries were generally fries are just fries, these were special. Each of the three spreads was incredibly flavorful. And the shrimp salad, wow! In retrospect, I would have been happy with just the salad. Overall a very pleasant experience. Perfect for lunch, we will go again.

Where to begin? The place has a lot of potential but unfortunately has not taken advantage. The menu, in my opinion, was an interesting and intriguing circa 2010. We started with the oysters which was def a mistake, poorly shucked and not fresh. Fortunately the mignonette was good/strong enough to compensate. Truffle fries were decent, if only they would have actually had truffle. We also ordered the trio of dips, margherita pizza and a salad. Pizza and olive tapenade only reason 2 star review as opposed to a 1 star review.

Arrived on a Saturday night at 22.15. They don’t close until 23.00 The«chef» aka line cook told us they closed early because they didn’t have any business. We told them the customers just arrived to which they replied«sorry we are already closed» It would be great to hear«sorry we are closed however we’d love to have you back in the future here is a comped meal»…instead we were just told they closed early. Not even a half assed apology. Not worthy of a second chance *Kanye Shrug

I stopped in Nosh the other night for a quick something cold to drink. I opted for the Blackberry Storm. So cool and refreshing. The perfect cocktail for a hot summer Texas day. Would definitely get this enticing beverage again. The beef tartar is fantastic. The celery, anchovy, mustard dressing really takes it over the top. The fried risotto balls are very tasty. Love the ambiance and the service was professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

Yeah, they were ok. I had the slider sampler(crab, pork, and beef sliders) and the wife had the mahi-mahi fish tacos. They have an excellent selection of beers and specialty drinks from the bar. I think the slider sampler was about $ 12. I don’t remember how much the tacos were but I think the sliders had more flavor than the tacos did. All in all, it was just a tad overpriced. This is an Alamo Heights type place trying to sneak up the old Austin Highway. I expect to see more of this over the coming years…

We came in for lunch and it was our first visit. Initially, I was surprised how small the restaurant is. We waited a few minutes for the staff to greet us and seat us. After being seated the server stopped by for drink orders. We talked a little about the menu and that the items were ‘tapas’ and appetizer portions. We decided to sample seven different items… LOVED them all. Pizza being one of the best. We will be back!
