Pasha’s is a great Mediterranean restaurant within the Medical Center! The thing I love about it is fresh naan. When it gets cold, they come by and ask if you want a fresh naan even if you’re barely halfway finished. And it’s fine! GETTHEFRESHONE. It’s so warm and delicious. My go to is always the gyro plate. It’s a generous portion. Hummus and greek salad are great. Sometimes I’ll sub for their potatoes. This place is located in a renovated Taco Cabana. I always thought the building itself looked more like a big toilet bowl though… Anyway parking can be a big pain. There’s a small area right in front and then some in the back, but there’s not a clearing to get to the other spaces for the other buildings. So the immediate lot is full, you have to drive back out onto the street to get to the other side of the lot. Service can be hit and miss. It can be pretty slow when it gets really busy. Other times, it’s great.

This place is pretty awesome. I wish I visited more often when lived not far from it. Their naan that comes with the meal is sure bigger than your head. It’s so fresh, hot, and delish. The best part is that it’s UNLIMITED. So eat as much as you want if you are not afraid of carbs overload. On my visit, I had the beef kabob lunch plate that was pretty decent. Service was very attentive. And they even packed up a naan for me that was freshly out of the oven when I was leaving, free of charge. How awesome is that?! Go to Pasha, you will have no regrets.

We came to pasha for Saturday afternoon lunch. Service was pretty slow. Overall chicken kabob and Greek salad were good. Hummus and lamb kabob were mediocre at best. Interior décor and environment was decent.

The food was so so, nothing special. It was my first time there and I ordered the gyro lunch plate. I’ve had so much better. I was really let down.

We were really craving Mediterranean food so we decided to go out on a limb an try out Pasha. We were immediately greeted with a giant plate of naan and oil and spices. The server was wonderful, he pointed us toward a bigger meal we could share together and try a variety of things. The kabob meet was cooked well and so was there beef and chicken. My favorite part was all their sauces, the tazikiki was great and they had a view others that were just delicious. They also serve Turkish coffee which we ordered after our meal. Good decent Mediterranean for a decent price. I recommend it.

The food is divine! So many textures and flavors to choose from: you’ll find something that interests you no matter what! The wait staff are attentive and can explain and recommend menu items, even offering little tastes of sauces so you can understand the spices and hotness. The naan is fresh and hot, my drink was never empty. One slight downside: it’s very popular so very crowded and loud. Don’t come here for a quiet conversation. Otherwise, outstanding!

One of my favorite spots in the Medical Center for some great gyros and greek salad, and even San Antonio! I would recommend the Joojeh Kabob. The service is excellent. My favorite thing about Pasha is the complimentary naan(bread) that is given after being seated at your table. It comes to your table hot with a side of oil. Delicious! I have to remind myself to save room for the food… if not, I could fill up on the bread. Also, some of the best hummus I have ever had. Portions are great! During lunch, they have reasonable specials. Although it is busy, they are still very fast. I heard that they have breakfast now so I will definitely need to try and come back and review their breakfast options. This location is pretty spacious inside despite it being tucked into a corner off of Bluemel/Wurzbach. Overall, great food and quality of service just like the 1604 location. Fun place to dine with the family.

Middling Mediterranean cuisine at ludicrous prices. This stuff is not complicated, and the ingredients are cheap. This is housed in a converted Taco Cabana in a less-then-desirable neighborhood, so I know it isn’t the rent. The reason they have consistently raised prices over the years until it ceases to be worth it… because they can. They have every right to charge whatever they want for their product, but I have every right to believe it is highway robbery. It’s also SUPER loud in both the dining room AND in the patio. NOTRECOMMENDED

Delicious! I went to Pasha with a party of 7 on a weekday, and we had to wait for about 10 – 15 minutes. Although the restaurant is nothing fancy, the food is really fantastic for a great price, and the staff are really, really, really attentive. The manager even came out to make sure that we were enjoying our meal. As for the food, I ordered the gyro plate and it was SODELICIOUS. The meat was really well-cooked and seasoned; the hummus was the best hummus I’ve ever had, and the portions were HUGE. I definitely had enough food to bring home for a second meal. They also give a lot of Naan bread, and I loved how fluffy their naan was, especially because it went really well with the hummus. I will definitely be frequenting Pasha because it is the best Mediterranean food I’ve had to date.

Pasha is a Mediterranean restaurant that offers a few tasty vegetarian items, matched with great service. I visited on a Monday night, looking for a quick bite. I ordered the falafel appetizer(six pieces of falafel on a bed of red onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles). I also ordered the vegetable kebob platter, which included rice, hummus, and grilled onions, peppers, and zucchini. The falafel was fine. Each piece was probably fried for a bit too long, making them hard to bite through. But once I bit through, the inside was quite tasty. The vegetable kebob plate was okay: the rice and hummus were savory, and the vegetables were grilled well, but they weren’t seasoned that much. I don’t think it’s a plate that I’ll order again: it’s a bit plain, and needed the falafel and hummus for every bite. I have to mention that the service here was really good for a sit-down-but-not-fine-dining, restaurant. They just did all the small things right, without asking. Lemons on the side, and a straw, for my water was a pleasant surprise. Even the butter on the rice was still wrapped so I had the option to delay the inevitable clogging of my arteries. If I were to return, I’d order the falafel sandwich or try a different, non-hummus spread.

San Antonio doesn’t have a plethora of Mediterranean restaurants to choose from. That being said, Pasha is a solid choice if you’re craving Mediterranean food. I think it is just okay. All of their dishes taste fine, but nothing has blown me away to where I would make regular visits. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the complementary naan bread they serve before the meal is delicious! Their Shawarma wraps are very popular and are pretty good. I would recommend ordering that if you’re not familiar with the cuisine. Pasha is a decent restaurant for Mediterranean food in San Antonio.

I usually stop by Pasha whenever I’m in San Antonio! If you love Greek cuisine, you should try Pasha! They also give free flatbread which are so delicious! I ordered the gyro plate which had gyro with hummus, and Greek salad. FOOD: 5⁄5 SERVICE: 4⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

Good place to get Mediterranean food. Portions are large and shareable imo. I got the pasha kabobs. There was a small wait during lunch rush, as expected. They give u this huge pita bread and will refill if needed. The food was good, quality is on par. This place is definitely a locals favorite. I would come back again.

After I came here for the first time, I came back twice more in the same week. Who doesn’t love the piping hot, fresh naan? That is reason alone to come to pasha. The oil that comes with the naan is a little bland for me but the hummus is a perfect accompaniment. I think it’s probably the best hummus I’ve had. I usually get the meat combo so I could eat a little of everything. I have also gotten the quail — pass on the quail. It’s hard to eat in front of people without looking like a Neanderthal and it’s tasteless. The Turkish coffee — for those who never had it is like sludge. Super sweet sludge. It was really hard for me to drink. Service and ambience are great. This place is popular but I never have to wait more than 10 mins for a seat. Although it looks small from the outside, it feels roomy inside. It’s a quick and easy place for lunch with coworkers.

Went to meet some friends here for lunch this weekend. One of them is a vegan, so a place like this provided her a lot of options. I ended up getting the«Large» Greek salad, which turned out to be the size of a normal house salad. I was hoping for a nice salad with lots of good greens and a Greek-style dressing. What I received was a romaine salad with a few pieces of darker greens mixed in, with three katamala olives, a little feta cheese, and a dressing that was more like french dressing than Greek. The shrimp that I got on it was a little overcooked, but had good flavor and size. Although I didn’t go here expecting completely authentic Greek food, it did not impress me at all. My boyfriend had the chicken shwarma wrap. He said it was ok, but not nearly as good as the ones we get at Baghdad Bakery! Overall, the food wasn’t impressive, but having a good restaurant atmosphere could have made up for that. Unfortunately, we had 5 people and were seated at a 4 top when there were bigger tables available. Our waiter was really nice though. The worse thing I saw while were were there was a manager that was repeatedly yelling at and talking down to his employees out in the dining area. Didn’t make me want to come back at all.

My boyfriend and I have been coming to Pasha since our 2nd date, nearly 6 years ago. This place used to be authentic, and it was my introduction to Mediterranean food. Since then we’ve seen the service go downhill with the food quality. Tonight, I saw a manager yell at a server to «get out of the way» so he could serve the oil dip that had been previously sent back. He yelled at this server on the floor and slammed menus around when he got back to the kitchen, then proceeded to have a fit in the kitchen, throwing things around. I even saw him snapping at a woman who was complaining. Everyone was watching the meltdown. I’m not sure how the owners have let this establishment slip so far, but the’ve lost a customer. Their hummus tasted like plastic and their meat was sub par at best. I’m not feeling so hot after eating there, so add that to list of complaints that I have. I would love to see them improve, since this used to be my favorite restaurant.

Not surprisingly, Pasha was packed for lunch on Monday. We were seated right away, however, and a server came to take care of us. It was very busy, but we still got the attention that we needed. Food: Pasha has many options. They indicate gluten free options, as well as foods containing other common allergens. The lunch prices weren’t bad at all — I think that some of the menus ran around $ 8.99. Also, I wasn’t expecting this, but Pasha served naan bread and a side of oil dip as an appetizer. They frequently refilled the bread, and served it warm. I got the chicken kabob for the lunch, which came with chicken, rice, and roasted vegetables. Honestly, though, the chicken kabob failed to ‘wow’ me. Nevertheless, I’m a fan! Overall, good food, good service, good atmosphere. I would recommend this place for any occasion, from casual meet-ups to business meetings.

A great Mediterranean place. I usually get the Shwarma Trio(beef, chicken, lamb) comes with hummus and a salad, so good! They give you this huge piece of naan as an appetizer.

This little place is the bomb in this side of San Antonio. Unique Mediterranean joint with plenty of bold flavors to offer. Start with the keshke(spell?) which is a roasted eggplant app with garlic, mint, and Greek yogurt. Such a unique flavor mixture unlike I’ve tried before. Have it with their freshly grilled bread(or big fat Tortilla). I then had the pasche salad with more Greek yogurt, basmati rice, and veggies. A but bland but good non the less. I had hoped that their flagship dish was more rewarding.(I did end up asking for some hot sauce to bring out some spice… and the chili paste I got was good). Service was friendly and attentive but no alcohol here so be warned. Would come here again if I was around the area.
