Baymont Inn And Suites San Antonio

I booked a room on their website and their site included amenities as any other room I’ve ever booked on line, but this is the first time I’ve never had those amenities and no where on the site do I see I had to make special reservations for a fridge or microwave. I assumed since it was on there web site it was included, well I didn’t have either. They told me it says On there website that these amenities are not guaranteed. I wasn’t very happy to hear thAt after all the money I paid. Not a happy camper. I only gave it one star because my kids enjoyed the pool. Don’t recommend Baymont Inn on I10 in San Antonio, TX…

Wow where do I start!!! First after paying cash the printer magically went out!!! Very fishy indeed… I had to wait forever only to receive a bogus hand written receipt… After refusing to simply walk away with a childlike written so called document!!! handwritten at that!!! After handing over hundreds of dollars without a proper receipt… Low and behold the printer all of sudden started working!!! I wasn’t happy but I thought it’s a branch of a hotel I’ve always regarded highly… So I took it on the cheek reluctantly but simply exhausted!!! After driving 13 hours for a seven day work week!!! completely exhausted from the road… I decided too shower and sleep like any normal person… Little too my knowledge I would be unable to obtain this due too being bitten repeatedly in bed!!! First time ever experiencing bedbugs!!! I literally travel two weeks out of every month of the year!!! I never want too experience such an atrocity again… Absolutely horrendous… I thought room 134 would be great… it’s right next to the pool easy access!!! WTF… Bedbugs biting me in a room I literally just checked into a hour ago… In a hotel that charges these kinds of rates is deplorable!!! I have to be at work in two hours now I’m absolutely pissed off!!! I called the front desk to speak to manger and he or she isn’t here !!! The front desk attendant didn’t even offer the manger to call the room I had to ask her to please do so !!! and I’m still supposed to check on it myself in the morning!!! pitiful service!!! She did offer to place me in another room but after moving a weeks worth of luggage after that drive no sleep and work in hour!!! seriously wtf… I asked for some sheets or something anything too get at least an hour of sleep before work!!! I was told all she had was pillow cases!!! What a joke this hotel gives this hotel branch a horrible representation… I’m hoping I’ll be in another room tomorrow without sleep!!! The whole reason for obtaining a hotel!!! lugging everything around again… one that hopefully doesn’t have damn bedbugs… When the manager is available… Very poor service for such a well known name of an establishment!!! I’d watch giving out cards as well with the printer only working from pure convenience!!! One star one because it won’t allow a thumbs down!!!

When we got into our room we found not one but seven cockroaches, mold in the shower, and some in the fridge, we left immediately to the Hayat. DON’T RECOMMEND, EVER!!!

Nothing to drink at breakfast. All of their machines were broken and they didn’t seem to care or attempt to accommodate any of the customers who questioned what our options for drinks were? I mean, there is a huge grocery store next door… wouldn’t you suspect that in an emergency they could go buy some jugs or bottles of orange juice or apple juice?
Overall it felt pretty safe, parking wasn’t great, room was decent, etc…
I can say it was AVERAGE… but the customer service was BELOW AVERAGE.

Good for a quick stay if what you’re looking for is affordability and practicality. The room had a fridge and microwave which I was surpised and pleased by, and was very clean, but was nothing special to look at. There was a broken mirror and an oddly placed painting obviously covering some wall issue, but the most important part of a hotel room, the bed, was comfortable. One downside was that we were woken by housekeeping at 11 saying that checkout time had passed when we had been told checkout was at 12… however all employees were very friendly and super helpful. The AC was also a little lackluster. Over all, the best part of this stay was the good deal.

I would give this place a negative star if I could. I booked a room a week plus in advance; the day of check in, everything went wrong… we arive at a run down shit shack… get down, walk in. the whole staff was sitting down eating McDonald’s and watching maury in the lobby… after standing at the front counter for about 10mins maury finally went to commercial. the lady finally came up and asked for a reservation, about 5 minutes of messing around on the computer. she says she can’t find the reservation .we even showed confirmation of the reservation on the phone… she rolled her eyes a went back to her food and show… We ended up paying more at BEST WESTERN PLUS nearby… But anything was better than that run down Ratchet place!!!

I stayed at the Baymont during my last stay in San Antonio. After reading other reviews on various websites across the web, I was a bit scared of what I was about to get myself into. I must say, however, that it was a very pleasant surprise. The room we had was very clean upon arrival and had exactly what we were expecting it would. There was free breakfast every morning until 9:30.that offered great selections for eating. The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at Baymont very much and will be back!
