Food is just not great, mine was inedible. The manager agreed something was off. Go for real Chinese, which is hard around there.

It has been over a year since I have been to Pei Wei but was pleasantly surprised at the menu changes. Great«quick» food option. Had the Kung Pao with the lettuce cup option instead of rice and had it wok-steamed. I also had the Thai wonton soup. Soup: very good soup, lots of flavor with good wontons. Kung Pao: decent spicy favor without the fried coating(got it steamed). Food tasted fresh and was cooked well. Service: fast and friendly Conclusion: Meal was very good and menu options offer great flexibility. I will come back more regularly after this visit.

I REALLY like this. Very nice food items. Quik to table. I had a minor change of drink choice and planned to let it be. Manager and staff lady insisted a refund to me. Very sweet both. I am having 2 dif crunch sushi rolls and a salad roll. All very good and I will absolutely return and suggest to friends. Thanks folks. Well done here.

I expected more. I had the honey sesame shrimp and the flavor and texture were just subpar. The rice was extremely dry and overall, from previous visits to this location and others I just left feeling disappointed. If I were PF Chang’s I would be embarrassed to associate myself and/or my brand with this quality of food.

Well since I ate at PF Changs last Friday and it was ok, I thought Pei Wei was a decent Dinner choice when the twin recommended it … WRONG… I was quickly turned off at the register when the cashier told me our military discount was gone … But that she thought it was coming back. But hey I’m here so let’s discuss this meal . The meal: App: wonton soup and crab wontons were predictable but decent. $ 1.99 for 2 crab wontons and a small cup of wonton soup(forgot price) with three wontons, tasty and flagrant . Entrée: EXTREMELY Salty and presented sloppily. The noodles were bland but the Mongolian Beef was tender. I did feel a slight stroke coming on as my Blood pressure rose due to the high salt intake. Yuck. I was hungry enough to consume but hated it enough I won’t be returning anytime soon. The nieces shared a sesame chicken meal that was a tad bit better but still not up to the Pei Wei Standards I’m used to. Sorry but … Cereal … Soggy Cereal would have been better.

I absolutely love PF Changs and was excited to dine at PEIWEI. While the cashier was«Da Bomb» and got our complicated order correct, the cooks in the kitchen were a little heavy handed on the SALT! My sister and I both had the MONGOLIANBEEF and my husband had the SESAMECHICKEN and all three meals were Super SALTY(thankfully we all ordered water). To top things off, my meal was un-picturesque(Yep, that’s what I meant), which means SLOPPYPRESENTATION. I’m sorry but I had much higher expectations for this restaurant.

We tried Pei Wei again, really to see why we had not eaten there for a few years. Food was terrible. We tried a chicken and beef dish and crabmeat Rangoon. The quality of products is low. Hard to believe they are affiliated with PF Changs. Don’t waste your money here!

Hoping to Unilocal a few folks out here. The food is handcrafted fresh, fast, and made for you. At least that’s what the sign says. Regular food is ok some pretty good. Lettuce wraps are good. The Thai dish is good. The sushi is horrible. Not even a 1 star. Go to HEB and buy theirs before you get it here.

Really good food. I got the chicken teriyaki with fried rice and crab meat rangoons. SOGOOD! Chicken was cooked perfectly with a little crunch around the edges. Just the way I like it. Rangoons were cooked perfectly as well and were not greasy at all. My mom got the Mongolian beef with white rice and she loved it too. Will definitely be going back. Service was great too.

Really liked the Ginger Broccoli chicken with brown rice. The broccoli was cooked al dente. One can see the crab meat when you break open the crab wontons. The pork egg roll was cooked properly. Didn’t have to wait longer for all of the items to come out. Only negative was they didn’t have any forks. Going to have to learn how to use chop sticks. ;) Restaurant was very clean even though it was busy.

I’d give it 0 stars if I could. Absolutely the worst Asian food I’ve ever had. The egg rolls were so greasy, the grease was running down my hand. The Lo Mein Noodle dish was sweet. Yuck. And the so called Sesame Chicken was really a dish of chicken in a bitter ginger sauce. Soooo disappointed. Will not go back or recommend to anyone, ever.

It used to be better quality food. Maybe they are trying to cut corners to make more profit. The last time I went to pick up an order it was not ready and the front of the house was severely understaffed. One person pulling all the to go orders. I had the hot and sour soup but have to say it was overly thick and not very full of ingredients. I can’t recall which stir fry dish I had because it really was’t that memorable. Next time I’ll make the time to go to Lemongrass Thai instead.

We really like the selection in this place. Prices are very reasonable and good sized portions! Always tempted to try something new every time we come.

Our first visit in a year, and probably our last ever. The menu refresh is not for me. The steak taste battered and deep fried before being sauced and added to the minimal amount of veggies. The fried rice certainly wasn’t fresh, and the egg rolls were oily from being fried at too low of temperature. The good aspect was the ordering counter staff, very courteous and helpful. The waiter on the other hand, no plates or even a serving spoon, had to retrieve one from the waiter station ourselves. So the refresh was to marginalize the food, increase prices, and increase profits. Won’t be back, ever.

We always liked Pei Wei as our reliable up-scale Chinese food source. But something has changed for the WORST… cutting costs on the new menu? Tonight I tried the new SpIcy Tuna Roll offering… the rice was dried out and the meager piece of tuna had no flavor.(Prepackaged and had not been rotated?) Wife got the Spicy Chicken Salad… she said it was mediocre at best. Chicken was floating in a sea of tasteless, sugary sauce in separate container. Lousy food has become the norm at our local Pei Wei it seems… we are done.

I’m not a big fast food fan… but I’ll settle on that for Pei Wei. Not the fanciest food in the world, but a great alternative to a whopper. I love their Thai Dynamite, plus all the starters are awesome! Very quick as well.

Okay, so the food is pretty good. I got the Teriyaki chicken combo last night, and although it was really tasty, there wasn’t enough chicken or anywhere near enough sauce. I sneaked some tastes of my friend’s sesame chicken and that was plenty saucy(heehee…saucy) and the flavor was YUM. Just spicy enough. The problem I have with this place is that the line of customers waiting to order gets very long, and the partition separating them from diners is low and way too close. I felt like I was in a fish bowl and all these strangers were watching me eat. Not my favorite. So if you’re NOT an exhibitionist, then maybe don’t go at regular lunch or dinner rush hours, but definitely go off peak, and be sure to ask for more sauce if you get the Teriyaki chicken.

My husband and I love Pei Wei! I usually go for the small plates menu. The Bangkok Noodles are my favorite. Perfect portion and like the small pieces of chicken in the bottom of plate. It is so good! The other chicken small plate is good. They use the chicken mixture for lettuce wraps And served over rice. Chai Tea is delicious, no need for sugar. Refreshing. My husband likes his Mongolian beef as well as the Teriyaki. Yay! We love Pei Wei. Service is good and fast. Good music, nice atmosphere.

I love Pei Wei. They are the same in every city. If I order something, the chicken coconut curry is my fav, I know it will taste the same no matter which location I go to. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and overall the experience was enjoyable.
