Pretty good donut shop in Hell-otes. Had to do something for my daughter after schlepping her to baseball for 5 hours! The ordering process reminded me of the sloth scene in Zoolander, but I think it was because they were pulling hot donuts out of the back. The jalapeño kolaches and ham & cheese croissants are delicious-looking, but I wouldn’t know because I’m gluten free. Husband says it’s yummy and daughter loved it.

This is by far my favorite place for donuts! Everything I’ve gotten seems like it’s been just out of the oven. Donuts are always soft and light. The breakfast selection is really good, too. My go to is the sausage, egg and cheese croissants. The soft, flaky and buttery croissant enhance the eggs and cheese while the sausage makes the whole sandwich come alive and feels like a pillowy piece of heaven in your mouth. Do not pass this place up! We go here every Saturday morning: D

After an overnight stay for business I googled the place to grabA doughnut and some coffee. This place had excellent reviews and it was a little off the beaten path. All I can say about the glazed donuts was that they were so-so. The Apple fritter was flat and crunchy almost like cereal. The coffee was burnt atbest. I don’t know how it got the reviews it did, but it was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had for coffee and a donut

Really good doughnuts and croissants, I can recommend the chocolate doughnut with chocolate covered and the ham, cheese and jalapeño croissant.

I love the kolaches. So big and tasty. Donuts are always fresh, soft and not greasy. Way better than dunking donuts or shipleys. I’ve gotten donuts in the morning before work an they are still soft and tasty even after 8 hours. Worth the 10 minutes it takes to get there.

From the previous pictures on here, I thought that they would have different types of cool donuts… but I guess I was looking at year old pictures. When I walked in, I only saw ordinary donuts and lots of kolache variety. I only ate the chocolate iced donut. It had a good flavor once it was microwaved a little. I was hoping to go in there getting a bite of maple bacon donut.

We were craving donuts and found this little place. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a drive through but it is well worth it to go in. Everything we saw and tried was amazing. It is the best tasting and best prices donut place in SA. We got ½ dozen donut holes, cinnamon roll, chocolate donut, and 2 pigs in the blanket and it cost us less than $ 5! The new owner is really nice and likes to make small talk. If you went to shipleys you would pay around double and they won’t even ask to hear anything up like he did. Very clean and far exceeded our expectation. Enjoy!

With no hesitation whatsoever, Snowflake is THE Northwest Side’s 5-star, friendly neighborhood donut shop. Their variety is indeed very large… and freshness, most importantly, is off the charts. Even better, the manager always sneaks me several donuts before leaving. Check them out now!

I’m not too impressed. Based on the pictures I was expecting more variety. I did however go around 9:30 and upon walking in I noticed they open at 4am so it very well could be I missed all the good ones.(Think sprinkles and m&m laden donuts. haha) I bought donut holes and a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I like that the donut holes can be purchased in half dozen increments. They tasted very similar to Dunkin donuts. So I wouldn’t go out of my way to go get more. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit: when I asked for it the man took it off the shelf, stuck it in a bag, then put in the microwave to heat up. I was a bit confused. Then he handed me the bag after he took it out of the micro no new bag or nothing. I don’t like this practice. However I’m trying new things so I figured if I die I’ll were this Unilocal review so you know why. :) The biscuit looked and tasted like a pillsbury biscuit you get in the can and bake at home which is disappointing because I was expecting more flavor or something from a little mom and pop shop. And the egg good lord had wayyyyy too much salt and pepper on it. It was cooked into the egg so I couldn’t even wipe it off with a napkin. The bacon however was on point… But how can you go wrong with bacon, am I right? It’s a cute little shop but based on today’s food I won’t go out of my way to come back but wouldn’t totally avoid it either as if like to try again thinking maybe it was an off day.

Probably the best apple fritter in Texas. It beats Round Rock Donuts in Round Rock, and Shipley ‘s, HEB, and Dunkin’ Donuts apple fritters are blah. Their service is very good, I’ve been to the shop at least 10 times and have been given free donut holes or a glazed donut a number of times. Their other location off of Babcock is good as well, but I’d give the nod to this location as it is never crowded.

Went to this place today cause my son wanted a donut and I must say everything looked fresh. So many to choose from their donuts to kolache’s. They were so soft and once I took a bite it was just so good everything was well flavored couldn’t have gone wrong, it obvious they’re delivering fresh sweets. Btw very friendly staff, yes there is plenty of drinks to choose from plus tables and chairs to sit down but it still a small place and very clean.

Simply the best place in town for donuts, kolaches and breakfast sandwiches. The national chains cannot compare to Snowflake. They make eveything fresh daily. I’ve tried everything they make and my fav is the ham and cheese croissant. But the cool thing is you can call ahead and request a special order item incase you have special requirements. You can also place big orders in advance and they will have it ready for you at an agreed upon time to match your schedule. Great family run business, great service and I’m a customer for life.
