I took a six week dance class here and it was so much fun! The intro class was only $ 50 for six, weekly 1 hour lessons! I went with a girl friend of mine so we could carpool, and our class had people from all age groups. We learned the Foxtrot and the Waltz basic steps. There were more girls than guys, so we all took turns rotating dance partners to learn the steps. It was a GREAT (fun and relaxed atmosphere) experience and I can’t wait to take my next class there! (Their rates are very reasonable for private lessons too!) A Starbucks is next door for those of you who want some energy before hitting the dance floor, which btw is absolutely GORGEOUS! Enjoy Thanks Renee (our instructor) for a wonderful introduction to my dancing shoes!

We were looking for a dance studio to learn our wedding first dance. Mara was an excellent instructor, teaching us 4 to 5 patterns of Rumba per lesson and did not try to sell on us the idea that we need more lessons (like a certain other big-named dance studio that will remain anonymous). We ended up taking 6 lessons to perfect the steps to our wedding dance, and everything turned out beautifully.
We loved being able to take private lessons at a very affordable cost and are hoping to take some group dance lessons with Studio One as soon as we have more time on our hands.
I would definitely recommend Studio One for anyone out there looking to get into ballroom dancing or even just to learn their wedding dance. They have flexible hours and are great to work with!
