Good but a bit expensive. I also don’t know what to do with the chicharon nor do they, I think.

I’m from California and since moving to San Antonio, I have tried a few different places. This is hands down the best! Everything was very clean and organized. The early bird special is a great deal and I love that they had a great selection of fresh and choice looking avocados. The tamales were amazing and only $ 10 for a dozen. These were moist and juicy. The fresh flour tortillas were soft and warm and the pico and salsa were super fresh. The Barbacoa was lean and had great flavor. I will be returning here for all of our barbacoa needs. It was soooo tasty! Even our cat(who won’t eat any people food or wet cat foods) came back for extra tastes!

There’s not much to say other than their tamales and barbacoa are amazing! It’s a small pick-up location. They usually have an early bird special for the barbacoa. But like the name says… The star of the show are the tamales. Pork and Jalapeño are so flavorful. That’s my recommendation. Don’t pass this place up!

My hubby ran down one morning to get some tamales for us. He said he had some breakfast tacos while there and they were really good. The kids and i have really enjoyed the tamales and plan to get more. I can wait to try the tacos.

Another place the family has been coming to for awhile. Their food(barbacoa y tamales) are good. My all time favorite thing that I MUST have from there are the chicharrones! If I ever drop from a heart attack this place is to blame. Their chicharrones are too good to say no to.
