The Egg & I

Ironically The Egg and I doesn’t serve real eggs. I ordered an omelette in which they put the wrong ingredients in, but honest mistake. When I finally got my omelette, I could taste that they were not made from real eggs. I asked the waitress what kind of eggs were used and she said they were some kind of liquid mixture. She said that if I wanted eggs made from «the cracked shell» that I needed to ask. To add insult to injury, the bill was $ 37.50 for 3 omelettes and 3 drinks — way overpriced especially for artificial food. I will never eat there again.

Good product. Never have I been disappointed with the service. Sometimes you have to wait. But everything is very good. Versatile menu. This location is very clean.

Poor service and bad management. Waffles are soft like pancakes. Ordered sausage and bacon and received only extra bacon. The waitress told me to give back half extra bacon off my plate, I have never seen that happen at a Restaurant. Sausage patties are super oily and has no taste.

Good brunch and great service! Ask for the first time gift from the manager!
The new items on the menu were well identified and easy to see. The waiter was very friendly and fast. The manager walked around and made sure the service was good to go.

Absolutely love this place. No matter what I get, its delicious. If you haven’t been here u need to go! We always enjoy the service and the food. No matter which one you go to its always good and friendly. Its amazing.

Pretty good American breakfast. Their eggs are not freshly cracked which is disappointing. The Santa Fe huevos is my favorite breakfast plate.

I’ve been to a few locations, this one is right by my old ‘hood in SA. I stopped in by myself and ordered the «Parisian» eggs benny. It has smoked ham and swiss cheese, and instead of a muffin or something on the bottom, it was a croissant (whoaaa, it was a whole new level of E.B.). The service was great; I would definitely visit next time I’m in town.

This place never disappoints. The eggs are always cooked perfectly. I chose the Huevos Rancheros with salsa on top, but I suggest you get the salsa on the side. It was a little too much for me so I took most of it off. They have so many great options for breakfast. They have grits, corned beef hash and eggs Benedict as well. All very good. I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

Consistently great food and fantastic service. Tried something new this time, a skillet breakfast, and it was delicious. Those ranch potatoes are magical.
The price is right and the food is always great no matter how busy they are.

The food is always great and the waitstaff is always friendly. My husband loves everything blueberry or pumpkin. I love the omelets. Mom loves the soups. We’re all happy! We’ll keep going back.

Solid little place. It’s definitely a chain restaurant but the food is good. Better than ihop for sure. I had the Parisian Benedict and enjoyed it and my SO had the pumpkin spice waffle that came COVERED in pecans. Bummed to pay $ 2 for a tiny glass of juice and our waiter was a little TOO Eager but all in all, good breakfast spot and I was full all day.

A nice place to have brunch. The food is what you would expect. Not great but good. The service was great. The Smarter Choice menu makes it a good option for those watching calories staying Whole30 compliant.

I wanted a light lunch so I ordered soup and salad. Soup was like barely warm. Salad was half wilted I spent so much time picking through it by boyfriend was nearly done by the time I started which is fine I’m use to restaurants serving crappy salads. But their ranch had no flavor. I’m so confuse. No flavor. I couldn’t even eat what was left of the salad and got maybe half way through the semi cold soup cause I had to spend so much time picking through the nasty salad. I guess they specialize in breakfast. Don’t order the salad. Needless to say I got to eat nothing.

Loved this cure little place. The staff was so friendly and the food came out quick.
We also came on a Monday Morning about 10am.
Very family friendly. A little more expensive then Denny’s or Jim’s but worth it.
I will definitely be back here and I do recommend you give it a try.

Loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Everyone was so attentive. The menu has so many amazing choices I would come back ever day to order a different item. Had the Cambridge omelette and it was awesome! A must stop next time I’m in town.

Took the family here for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. The girls had the breakfast sandwich and ranch potatoes while i enjoyed the french toast with egg and sausage. Staff is always friendly with a couple cuties in the mix. Place was clean and service was prompt. It does get busy but the wait is never too long.

I come here almost every Thursday and Sunday morning. Love there menu, love everything about Egg and I. Gets pretty packed but you won’t wait for that long, always has a friendly staff when I walk in and the atmosphere is clean. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves breakfast and loves keeping it healthy

The wait time of 15 minutes on a Sunday was tolerable. The wait time for food to come out was 35 minutes. In my opinion way too slow for a table of 3.
Our waitress apologized but actually she can’t control the kitchen service! Would go back again another day or tine.

OMG, the cream cheese omelette is out of this world, but so fattening. Why is it the best tasting dishes are the worst for you.

Very happy with the service, very clean and food was egg-​selent. Although it took a bit longer than expected. This is my first time here, by the way.

Everything is excellent ! Good service — great coffee and very nice selection of quality coffee. Large portions — flexible with substitutions — and eggs like poached are done to specs. Highly recommend any of the benedicts (hollandaise is home made) omelettes are big and fluffy and meats are good quality. A solid go-​to and much better than Cracker Barrel with good prices. Also, if you are a coffee lover, they provide a full carafe so no waiting for a refill.

The Veggie Benedict was fresh and well-​prepared. Our waiter, Gilbert, was friendly and personable as well as attentive. I had an enjoyable breakfast experience here.

I came here for breakfast on Sunday and the service was quick, the food delicious, and plenty of seats. I ordered the green chili chicken hash with scrambled eggs. It was flavorful, fresh, and very delicious. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a Mexican flair to their breakfast. It wasn’t too spicy either. I would have preferred a more «skillet» flavor, but the dish was certainly better than I thought it would be.
Second, had the strawberry and banana waffle with pecans. Presentation was great, although the waffle was not was crispy as I would have liked. Perhaps it’s because we waiting about give minutes before digging in.
The dark rainforest coffee is always delicious and includes a giant refillable carafe. Spent a leisurely two hours here and didn’t feel rushed or uncomfortable. The waitress was very attentive and I like how you can just check out at the counter when you are done. Makes the service go faster and you don’t have to wait for a receipt, return of credit card, etc.
