The service was good, quick and attentive. Great vibes sitting down and waiting. Fast table within a busy Sat morning around 10am. The food was good and the coffee is great. Only negative thing I would say is the food portions. Scrambled eggs looked like 1 egg instead of 2, I had to order another side to make it look similar to IHOP. Other than that, will go again.

Love this place for having a pancake. They have the best blueberry pancake. Well, the food is good, but wait too long to be seated. Overall is good and great services.

Our go-to breakfast place when visiting San Antonio. Extremely efficient with accommodation even with a full house. Very friendly host and waiter and consistently delicious over the years at this specific location.

I love this particular the egg & I. I’ve cheated & have gone to different egg & I locations & it’s always a disaster. The staff is friendly & efficient. It’s always clean. The food is always perfect !! I wish you guys could spread this too some of your other locations.

Food was not great, there are much better options in the area. I got eggs Benedict and the yolk was… Completely cooked. Hollandaise sauce tasted decent but not the best. Probably made from a mix. My friend ordered«a single pancake» on the side and we were shocked to see that it cost nearly six dollars for one thin, average pancake. Probably not coming back.

Good service. I got the corned beef hash and eggs but it’s missing any kind of corned beef flavor. The texture of the potato/hash mix tastes like wet bacon bits on a damp sponge. I had to liberate the hot sauce and pepper onto this mess. Im disappointed that i could have payed less for chipotle and decided to come here. Lesson learned.

I have given this restaurant enough chances and probably won’t be back. If you have poached eggs on the menu, you should be able to cook a poached egg. Every time I have ordered it, the yolks are hard cooked. Even when I ask for a runny yolk up front, I receive a poached egg with a solid yolk. Also, if you have any special requests to you order(i.e. extra spinach, no tomatoes, etc.) You can bet they don’t follow through in the kitchen.

Great service(wish I could remember her name now) and good breakfast! I ordered the strawberry fields waffle and was loving how sweet it was! My dad’s Mexican skillet didn’t taste very Mexican; it was definitely toned down in taste for the targeted customer base. My mom’s ranch potatoes were delicious though, and the house coffee was strong! I’ll be back. It feels more intimate than Ihop or Denny’s. My Unilocal rating system: 5 stars= Driving across town just for this! 4 stars= I would recommend visiting. 3 stars= Average, acceptable, positive. 2 stars= You might be able to drag me in. 1 star= I will definitely not be returning.

I went on a Sunday around 12pm, it was pretty packed, however there was no wait, we were sat down immediately. The food came out very quickly and it was filling. I had the Wisconsin scramble I believe it was called? Scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and green onions, it was very spongy and moist which I liked. The plate also had well seasoned hash brown and biscuits with a side of bacon. I would definitely come back.

Went during lunch but had the breakfast, super fast service and nice staff. Good breakfast, ranch potatoes really tasted homemade. Omelet a little over cooked but good breakfast, way better than IHOP and I didn’t have to wait forever like Magnolia Haus. Will definitely go again.

Better than IHOP or Denny’s, You can have eggs with anything any way and a brunch item. Always good service, clean tasty food, never too busy. This is my fav for when I’m in mood for breakfast.

Wasn’t my favorite but it was ok. My eggs were cooked fine, I asked for eggs with cheese and I liked the way they mixed the cheese in with the eggs whereas most restaurants just put a piece of cheese on top of the egg. The pancake itself was decent, it was really big and buttery. The staff was nice and on top of things but, I don’t know if I will be going back because the food wasn’t very impressive and nothing really stood out to me.

Literally one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Plus the server was very good and very nice, even elegantly poured my coffee for me from the carafe. Had the spinach mushroom omelette with hollaindaise – deliciois and cheesy. Ymy bacon bits, cooked perfectly and no fat. Coffee even came in flavors, house, Irish toffee, and Hazelnut. Hug portion and now I have leftovers for lunch. Come here!

Stopped in for breakfast here. The coffee was pretty good. Potatoes were cold and bland. The waiter was very pushy and rushing us to get in and out. Overall pretty bad experience aside from the above average coffee.

Lucky enough to get a kids friendly server who knows what extra chocolate in my iced mocha coffee means. $ 4.99 Kids waffle meal has half an adult size, cut in halves, with an egg and slice of bacon. Comes with a drink of milk or juice(oj extra .30¢). Plenty for my 3 year old. Love the empty quiet of coming before breakfast rush, and the quality of food you get when the kitchen isn’t in a big rush. My only complaint is the obviously older strawberries I’m paying for that are bordering on being downright bad(spoiled). Otherwise I’m a happy camper and so is my kiddo. Our server, Victor I believe(horrible with names but he’s very tidy shaven and polite, loved the slight accent!), made the experience. I recommend looking for him if you come in on a quiet enough rotation he’s working that you can request his section.

Been here several times, its very hit or miss, one day its good food good service, the next horrible. Today was horrible. I ordered eggs Benedict the wife ordered a spinach omelet. Food took 40 minutes and my eggs Benedict were cold, the ham had never hit the grill, eggs were over poached, the grits were ice cold, the butter would not even melt. The wife’s omelet was cold also, had obviously stuck to the pan. We had both meals sent back, my eggs Benedict came out correct this time but the grits were even colder. The wife’s omelet came back allrite but minus the toast. Oh and I had to wait for a new fork to be brought to me since the first one left with my returned meal. That took a while since our waitress delivered other meals and took other orders before bringing me a fork. To be fair the manager comped our entire check, and she apologized for the whole mess.

I ordered the Waffle Eggspress with scrambled eggs and bacon. The waffles were good, the eggs were a little runny for my liking and the bacon strips had a bit too much fat on them which I cut off and trashed. Everything came out as ordered, but there were a ton of employees in the back just standing around and I was quoted 15 minutes on my order. Nearly 45 minutes later I was just getting my food and this was after I told the kid at the host-stand I was there to pickup a To-Go order and he called someone over to take my order again. Turns out he was half-listening because he couldn’t wait to get back on his phone. For the quantity of food you get, it’s fair.

Tell my why we never have to wait. Tell me why the pancakes here are the bomb biggity. They’re so good. I recommend the blueberry pancakes they’re so good and filing. I recommend the hazelnuts coffee yum. The bacon is good and so is the turkey sausage.

Came here on a Sunday morning. It was not packed at all. We placed our order at 11:15 and by 12:00, we still didnt have our food or even an explanation. Tables around us were having the same problem. We let the manager know and I’m assuming he did something about it because when we finally got our food, the waitress rudely slammed it onto the table as if saying«here!» Good food but not worth the service. No customer service whatsoever. Id give it 0 stars if I could.

Sorry and simple this time. This is always a breakfast goto for my wife and I. Good service, handful of healthy and gluten free options if that’s you’re thing. Overall good experience!

The wait is long but the menu is awesome. I went last week for eggs & waffles! The waffles are huge & the prices are good. The only downer is that we waited about 45 minutes for a table for 4.
