First time visiting. Bloody Mary wasn’t bad. The vintage goodwill furniture was hard to stay comfortable in. I overheard the faux Native American looking bartender telling another patron that her pet cat peed on her expensive leather sofa at home, then killed the cat by hanging it, then left it on an ant pile as punishment. Didn’t know if this was a joke or not. Either way; sick. Will not be returning

Really enjoy the drinks here. It was a bit dead and I wish there had been music playing instead of the tv. But the drinks seriously made up for it a little lack in atmosphere. Me and my two friends sat out on the nice little back area and had a few cocktails. We especially enjoyed the whiskey sours. I love whiskey sours. A lot. I ordered it because I was being Indecisive & it’s always a good stand by. But this one. Was delicious!!! Perfect balance. And the egg whites! Yes! Awesome bar tender. This dude was so friendly and he made our drinks with care. Craft! 4 stars because the drinks were freaking awesome, but hopefully when I go back I’ll have some jams along side my whiskey sour :)

Drove past the spot a few times before checking it out; street advertised as «neighborhood bar», that indeed what it is… for the time being. The place is very cozy and inviting. The outside is reminiscent to a churches chicken joint, but the inside is that of a northern neighborhood bar, plush vintage seating areas, small bar fit for 5 – 6 bar stools, and an outside back patio to chain smoke that night away –if you choose-. Besides the token drunk, who ended up plunging his business down the toilet so another patron could use the facilities, ball buster that woman was –demanding that he rectify the situation(one toilet bathroom) so she too could release her inner business, it was a good spot to meet a new interest. He enjoyed the venue as well. Went back the following day, after the barkeep(handsome man) advised of being open at 11… AM! Immediately my mind went to ‘day drinking, days off, bored at home’ and so I needed to check it out, DAYTIME style. Brought my fru fru, more and more pretentious as she drinks friend, and she too was impressed(mostly because she foresaw the potential of this being her new day time, quick drink or two spot before class or having to do the domestic thing at home. Owner was there; cool chick; used to own the thrift store, Texas Trash, that was there before, prepping food for the day… YES, they serve food! A few groups for lunch swang thru; was really hoping to see if they were down and order a drink, but no, they were behaving and having cola(HA) Ordered the Italians grinder…#Legit So all in all I hope they don’t light the street sign up because then all the near by «bridge and tunnel» crowd will be a knockin; this place is fit for the hipster, minus the Texas trash prices ;)

The drinks here are great, but the guy who I am assuming is the owner(dude with long beard) loudly humble bragging about how business oriented he is and how the bar is paying for itself really takes away from the experience. Had one drink and left.
