Super fresh fish. We’re very big on sushi and literally every thing we ordered off the menu was beyond great, not to mention the staff was BEYOND BEYOND friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Let me start by saying, I’ve been here a couple times, habe always spent over $ 100 and the food was
, I walked in at 235 pm and one of the chefs just made a hand gesture to leave and indicated they were closed. Their sign outside said they close at 3 pm. A hostess finally came over to say they do a last call 30 minutes before closing. They lost a good customer today as I won’t be returning after being treated that way.

Cane here with some friends who recommended the place .wow it was so so good we got the kicker roll (delicious) the taste of San Clemente, rainbow roll, too good to be true (so good) edamame and yellow tail sushi we will be back here soon the waiter was super nice and knowledgable prices were average for rolls definitely worth every bit .next time id like to try the randy roll and spicy miso soup and get the kicker again and again :)

Amazing! Seriously the best sushi in town! I recommend the spicy miso soup and the kicker roll. The red snapper sushi we got was caught that morning. You can taste the freshness. Wonderful customer service too! Can’t say enough great things

So happy we have a solid sushi place on del mar. The fish is brought in fresh daily. The sushi is creative and flavourful. The salad is the best I’ve ever had in a sushi place.

Enjoyed our first visit tonight. We arrived just before 6 and got the last available table. From then on out the line was out the door. We ordered the Kicker, Last Night in SC, Spicy Tuna, and Deep Dead Sea rolls along with fresh Tuna Nigiri. Our server said they get there fish from the Fish Market approx 6x/​week. We could tell just how fresh the fish was. I really enjoyed my Salmon Skin Hand Roll and the Vegetable one too. Service was great! Rolls took a awhile, but good things come to those wait! We’ll be back!

This place is super delicious. Amazing flavors, well thought out rolls and friendly staff.
Highly recommend the Dick and Daiane, Sparkling #1, and Steve’s Cutback — the sauces that come on these rolls are ridiculous.
Can’t wait to come back and try even more!

This place is surprisingly good, it is brand new but if the quality keeps up this should be a hit for San Clemente locals who love fresh sushi.
The atmosphere is light, a bit «beach» with a bit «vintage» quaintness that suits the small restaurant. Parking? Easy-​peasy in free lots right across the street.
The staff is attentive and friendly. Small details are really important and not overlooked; the seasoning sauce on the sashimi, the whipped cream on the Thai tea, the «pink foam» on the garnish all add to the experience.
Not on the menu but amazing is «Muse Maki» which is a rice-​free set of rolled fish (salmon, tuna, crab), topped with delightful things like fried onions and caviar.
I prefer sashimi and was not disappointed. Fresh fish; very fresh and good quanitities.
Give Muse a try; you’ll be glad you did!

Tucked away in the heart of downtown San Clemente is this little muse. Houses the most caring and considerate workers, who are always on top of things. The sushi is fresh and the service is stellar. Don’t miss this diamond in the rough!
However I can’t eat anything here because I’m vegan. But my dad loves it so i guess it must be pretty good.
