I’m frustrated — not with the actual unit or location, or even the people, but with the fact that they make it hard to make any changes to your account(credit card #, phone number, etc.) except by going in to the office or sending a notarized letter. They won’t do it over the phone and there isn’t an online way either. Nor can you pay online. I don’t live that close to AAA. Recently my credit card company canceled our card(because a major retailer was hacked) and reissued it with another number. We were out of town for several weeks when this happened. In the meantime, we received a letter from AAA. Not only was there a $ 10 late fee, but there was a $ 10 «letter fee» for them sending us the letter with the late fee! I called and left a message to let them know about the credit card situation but they didn’t return my call. The only good thing is that the gentleman that I was able to eventually reach on the phone was extremely courteous. He is the only reason I gave 2 stars. But then when my husband took the time to drive down there to give them a new credit card number, they refused, saying that I had to do it, even though we have the same last name and address. When my husband asked what the billing cycle date was(so he could find out the date by which I needed to do this) they refused to tell him. The way they run business seems old fashioned and archaic. Maybe this is a good reason to get rid of extra stuff and cancel the unit altogether!
