Amazing Lash Studio – Carmel Valley

I’ve been getting lash extensions on and off for about 3 years now. Was thrilled to find out a lash studio was opening up literally down the street from my house! I’ve been driving by for weeks now monitoring the progress and saw that it was up and running and decided to give them a call. Lucky for me they were looking for people to practice on and it only for a donation of $ 20! Score!!! Normal prices for a full set of lashes are well over a 100 so of course I was thrilled! I made an appointment time ASAP and today went in and had the most pleasant experience. The gals at the front were all so warm and welcoming and the place was just beautiful and brand new! They have you fill out a waiver and ask if you need to use the restroom prior because the appointments are pretty long…2 hours for first timers. Just by luck I got paired up with the most amazing lash technician her name was Beverly! We just had so much in common and I just really enjoyed our conversations and it made the two hour appt just fly by! She did a wonderful job on my lashes and I just love them. I will update my review in a month to see how well they held up. I plan to join their monthly membership which is just $ 59 a month. Welcome to the hood Amazing Lash Boutique :)
UPDATE: it’s been exactly one month since I got my full set. I have to say they lasted a long time! Today I went in for my fill with Jessica and she did a fabulous job and it only took one hour :) The membership makes it really affordable to keep up this habit… cheapest I’ve found! Kate at the front desk is awesome too!

Just got my lashes done here. This was the first time I’ve gotten professional lash extensions. I was super excited and went in thinking that I would be provided with some guidance and suggestions. Instead of being offered suggestions, each and every one of my questions was answered with a rigid «so what do you want?». Strike one.
The process was short, only an hour or so. I looked at my lashes in the mirror and I thought they looked alright at first glance.
I paid and went home, and my roommate commented that they didn’t put any lashes on the corners of my eyes — and I remembered that the girl had said I DID have naturally long lashes — however, this just looked unnatural and like someone hadn’t completed their work. Strike 2.
I got these done last Wednesday afternoon, and went out of town right after. I haven’t work eye makeup, wet my eyes, nor slept face down, etc. and have brushed the lashes as instructed ever since. It is now Monday night and the lashes are already missing in some parts. Strike 3.
Overall, I am very disappointed and would not go back or recommend to a friend.

My first experience with lash extensions was 2 days ago at Amazing Lash Studio, and now I won’t be bashful about being «lashful!» This is to say that I will definitely be back regularly. Not only was the end result great, but the whole process was pleasant. Lacey (salon manager) is warm, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. My lash stylist, Karrah, is an eyelash genius with years of prior experience applying extensions. She is scrupulous about customizing each style and not putting extensions on natural eyelashes that aren’t strong enough to properly hold the extension. I was confident that the health of my natural lashes wasn’t being sacrificed. I had the opportunity to also meet the owner, Theresa, who is passionate about good eyelashes. The studio is beautiful. Clean, modern, hip. The music and atmosphere were relaxing. And my lashes… my lashes! A friend took one look at me and called to make an appointment to get hers done! Amazing indeed.

I made an appointment at the brand new Amazing Lash Studio Carmel Valley on Wednesday this week. They were running a special for their soft grand opening while their lash stylist were still mastering their lash application techniques. I have never had fake lashes like the kind they apply here which are the individual lashes attached to your real lashes and I was quite nervous after having read many different horror stories. However I decided to give it a try while they were running their special and I am so happy I did! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. Theresa Shay the owner was there and was so nice and took the time to explain the process and care techniques to me to calm my nerves in regards to everything I had questions about. The actual studio itself is stunning! It had gorgeous sparkling chandeliers and everything was pink and white and absolutely immaculate. I felt extremely lucky to get lash stylist Bianca. She was very friendly and paid close attention to the detail of my lashes making sure they were full and were not going to fall off anytime soon. I went in there thinking I would just try it but I loved the outcome so much that I have become a member. For this service their prices are extremely reasonable and their products are also reasonably priced. I got the lash styling wand and will be going back to get their oil free mascara next week. I already made my next appointment for a fill with Bianca! I would highly recommend Amazing Lash Carmel Valley to anyone interested in getting Amazing lashes that enhance the look of your natural lashes.
