Bambino’s Pizzaria & Deli

I love their sandwiches and salads, their pizza is good too but not a huge fan. I enjoy this place a lot because they give you a lot of choices and they’re fulfilling. They do have other pizza flavors I haven’t tried yet so maybe I’ll order one of those next time. Great place though.

After living a few streets away for three+ years, we finally discovered Bambinos! They deliver and have a huge variety on the menu, which is great! So far we’ve tried the lasagna, beef ravioli, chicken Alfredo, and a supreme pizza. All were DELICIOUS!
The meat sauce in the pasta is sooo good and it’s covered in a layer of gooey cheese. The chicken alfredo has mushrooms which gave it a little something extra. You get two large slices of garlic bread with each pasta. Between the pasta and the garlic bread, it’s definitely two meals worth of food.
The pizza was the best I’ve had in the area, for sure. Generous amount of toppings. From the crust, to the sauce, to the toppings… Bambinos offers an all around great tasting pizza. I have received delivery twice. Both times the driver was really friendly, courteous, and seemed to be having a good night. The first delivery my order was right on time and they upgraded my pizza to the next size up for me, and the second time I ordered, it arrived 15 min sooner than I expected!

I can bravely say the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life!!! The aroma and the ingredients are so temptingly delicious, even if you are not a pizza fan you will fall for it! My daughter’s boyfriend couldn’t even wait till we get home to take a few bites before turning it to a few pieces instead of a few bites only! He said he will never look for any other pizza shop in town! These people are friendly and generous with the food they provide you. Your money’s worth and some! Such a pity that they are too far or else we would be eating pizza even for breakfast!!! Del Del aka delicious over and over!

I can’t get enough of the jalapeño poppers and wings! Could prob eat them for every meal if I was one of those people that never gain weight. But hey, you win some, you lose some.
They always got deals going on so they can get about the same price as Little Cesar’s but Bambinos is so much better!

Love this place. Especially since they deliver. Sometimes you are just lazy and want a bad as a sandwich but don’t want to go anywhere. I went for a pickup for the first time today… I didn’t have much time to wait… No place to sit down but I have two little ones so I normally eat at home anyway. No military discount but they did give me a free two liter. Good by me.

I have eaten from here many times and it never fails to taste amazing. I love this place.

Don’t order online for pick up. They have cheaper prices in person. I ordered online went to go pay cash and they wouldn’t give me the cheaper price. You would think that they would have been more accommodating instead of arguing telling me there was nothing they could do. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? All I had to do was walk away and not pay at all. They guy at the counter wasn’t the brightest and was just rude about the whole situation.

Best pizza and wings we have had in years. Beats any pizza joint in Phoenix including those in the downtown area!

This place has some of the best pizza my husband and I have ever had. We love their Mediterranean pizza! They have great customer service and I love that its a family run business. Super friendly!

This is an update to a previous review. As I mentioned before I find myself ordering from GrubHub App to place an order for this restaurant. This past week again I ordered using my App. To my delight the order was on time, and the owner sent us a piece of scrumptious cake. It was great! Bambino’s food a very good and not expensive.
The pizza is wonderful hot, but it’s that kind of pizza that you wouldn’t mind eating cold the next morning.

Delicious! Ordered a large 2 topping pizza (pepperoni & jalepenos), wings, and a 2L pepsi with a total that was less than $ 20. Very worth it. Pizza was perfectly cooked, ingredients tasted so fresh and I loved how much cheese they put on it. The wings were crispy with a kick of spice. The only thing is they don’t really give you much red peppers and Parmesan. At first request they gave us 1 of each, came back in and they gave us another 2 each. Shiesty but still really good pizza.

REVIEWERS BEWARE — Harassing phone calls en route. After reviewing this restaurant via the ordering website
I got two phone calls from the owners daughter harassing me. My review «I never get the extra greek dressing that I order» So after posting that with a ³⁄₅ star rating, I kept receiving calls. The daughter kept saying that during one of my orders I didn’t order greek dressing so my review was invalid.
First off, I don’t need owners of restaurants digging through old receipts to find my phone number. Second off I don’t need to receive harassing calls based on my honest review. I have ordered from this location about 5 – 6 times and it was pretty good food but the customer service is horrible.
By and by, look at the title, if you do post a negative review here, be sure the owner doesn’t have your phone number so you don’t get harassing calls forcing you to justify yourself.

My FAVORITE place for pizza they have the BEST Mexican pizza you can get in San Diego. The owner or manager is also very nice whenever I come in everyone is always friendly!

Talk about bang for your buck! We’ve been driving by this place for a while now and finally decided to give them a try. We were feeling lazy and weren’t really in the mood for pizza (even though theirs look great.) We ordered Eggplant Parmesan and Chicken Parmesan sandwiches along with some Mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers.
The sandwiches were very full 12″ ones and for 6.99, were really good. The bread was awesome and even though it was a delivery order, everything was piping hot and crunchy. Sticks and poppers were good ad well, especially for the price.
The online order system said it would be 45 min, and they were right on time, which was cool for a Friday night. Glad we finally gave them a shot, and will definitely be ordering from them again.

Bambinos! Are freaking kidding me right now? 7.99 for three toppings? HELL YEAH. Look how cheesy this pizza is! Didn’t even ask for extra cheese. On top of all that this is a delicious tasting pizza! Thanks.

Not in the mood to drive, I decided to use an App to order «delivery» pizza. I was directed to Bambino’s Pizza.
PLEASANTLY Surprised! Never heard of them before — prices are just right, and quality of food, Great: I ordered large Pepperoni Pizza, 10 pc Buffalo Wings, Antipasto Salad, and 2 liter of Pepsi + 3.00 delivery charge. Under 28.00 — that’s a deal.
Food: Freshly baked, good quality pizza (it was YUMMY). Chicken wings; tasty, juicy and good sauce. Fresh Antipasto salad (good size). Definitely worth the $!
The only minus was the time frame of delivery (but it could be the time & weather situation). Originally, it was to be delivered within 45 – 60 of the order — I was alerted it would be 30 mins. more, finally arrived 2 hours from my original order. *That’s why I didn’t post photos! LOL. We were just too hungry & started picking at the food before I thought of taking the pictures. LOL.
I will be ordering from Bambino’s again — next time I will be posting pics. :)

Great tasting pizza. My personal favorite is the cheese steak pizza. Also had their torpedo sandwich which was pretty good as well. My brother wasn’t a fan of the Reuben but definitely loved the pizza.

Ordered meatlovers pizza online. It was ready when i got there in about 20min. The staff here are so friendly. There were some little girls in line before me and they were short a lite bit of change. The guy was so nice. I offered to make up the difference for them but he just gave them there food without it. I thought that was really nice if him. My pizza is the bomb! This is my first time ordering a pizza and it is awesome. I am now a lifetime customer.

Great fries and great Philly roll, very busy so make sure you call ahead and place your order ahead of time, there is no seating for eating there, it’s only take out.
We ordered a Philly steak roll, it’s baked like a Calzone, it was great.

Great family owned business! I called to place an order for pick up and wanted to order a 12 inch pizza with one half being one flavor and the other half being another. The owner was very helpful with my order and he was very concerned with the flavors mixing together. He recommended that I stick to one flavor, but he said he would do two different flavors if I really wanted it. I understood his concern and I decided to take his recommendation and stuck with bbq chicken. The pizza was delicious! Nice chunks of chicken throughout the entire pizza! Every bite was yummy!
I would recommend this place any time over Little Caesars or any pizza place like that. Bambino’s not only serves delicious pizzas, they also have great tasting calzones which you should definitely try! Support this local shop when you get a chance. You won’t regret it!

I haven’t ordered the pizzas yet but tonight I was craving for sandwiches and we ordered the torpedo and Italian sausage. Love the torpedo sandwich better than the Italian sausage. I’m not really a big sausage fan, I just wanted to try one of their hot sandwiches. The torpedo was fresh and their sandwiches are big! Better than going to jersey mikes or subway!

I’ve had a few things off their menu and most everything was pretty good. The margherita pizza was so delicious and I absolutely love the Philly cheese steak sandwich; which I’ve had quite a few times. I recently tried the Mexican pizza and that was really good as well. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the jalapeño poppers so I haven’t tried them since. Bambino’s has become my go to place whenever I crave pizza or a Philly cheese steak.

This place is great! We have tried them several times for delivery, Mostly their pizzas. The variety on their pizzas is great and the quality is wonderful. To have a delivery place like this close sure beats the chains any day! We have tried the works, the gyro pizza, the Mediterranean pizza, and several others… Our new go to for pizza delivery!

Been eyeing this place for a while. With these pregnancy cravings I decided to give it a try my boyfriend picked me up a pineapple calzone. I’m glad I decided to give it a try, it was delicious. The only thing maybe next time I’ll ask them not to put too much ricotta cheese, it was a bit too much. But other than that it satisfied my craving.

I swear I’ve passed this little rundown corner in Paradise Hills more times than I can remember. Growing up, it was one of several corners I’ve just avoided. A few years back, Bambino’s made its appearance. I was never tempted to try this place, until I had a recent conversation with my sister that went like this:
Sis: I’m hungry. I want pizza.
Me: Mmm… we can go to Little Italy.
Sis: Too far.
Me: I’m not buying Little Cesars or Dominos. How about Mexican?
Sis: No. Pizza.
Me: Burgers?
Sis: PIZZA!
Me: Okay. Okay. Pizza. Sheesh.
Coincidentally, she thought of this place, so we ordered a few pies. I bought a 20″ pepperoni, sausage, olives and mushroom and one 12″ Alfredo. I would have preferred to do a half and half for the 20″, but they don’t do it with the Alfredo because the sauces are different. So, we ended up ordering 2 pizzas, which gave us leftovers. For days.
This place is a strictly take out joint. It is probably best to call in your order. It’ll take about 30 minutes for them to make and bake the pizza. They do have a few seats to wait in-​house. But, I don’t recommended hanging out in the lot, while you’re waiting for your pizza, especially at night. There’s not enough lighting in the lot and there are a number of crazy folk walking along Paradise Valley Road.
For the area, Bambino’s is probably one of the best choices for pizza. The pizza is pretty good, even if it’s slightly pricey. I’d say totally worth it for a good quality pie. It beats having to buy from a crappy pizza chain store. It’s also a great way to support a local, family-​owned business.

Tried Bambino’s on a whim, because we just wanted to try something new instead of the usual pizza chains in the area. After seeing pictures of their pizza, we decided to go for it, and we’re so glad we did! We ordered an All Meats Pizza, and it was delicious and not even the least bit greasy, which was amazing. On the side we tried their cheese breadsticks, and their BBQ wings and both were delicious! If you’ve tried cheese sticks from papa johns and like those, then you’ll LOVE these! Even cheesier, and more flavorful! Their wings were really big too! At first we thought they might’ve thrown in extra because of how full the container looked! Lol. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to break free of those pizza chains!

This place is always busy and so good! My husband found out they have another location owned by the brother out near Santee. Tonight we ordered a cheese pizza with garlic butter and ricotta. They made it to please us even though they normally only use ricotta on their margherita pizzas. Thank you for such delicious pizzas!

Ordered delivery from this spot! Oh my had the Greek pizza! Delicious! Also ordered the Shrimp Scampi. Wow talk about flavor! Crust/​Dough was so good. perfectly cooked! This is definitely a favorite for me!

This little gem is tucked in the hood off of Paradise Valley Rd. Apparently been here forever and I just never heard about them. I’ve been told they have amazing everything!!! Pizza is definitely DELICIOUS!!! As well as priced for your budget. Family owned joint so you know they take pride in their cooking and you can taste the love in the food. I definitely will be back for more!!!

Large pepperoni & sausage pizza
I’m not sure if this is a fair review because I didn’t order a speciality pizza. But my thoughts are that its better than little Cesar’s but not as good as most pizza chains. The sausage is the worst flavored sausage I’ve had. But the dough/​crust is on point. If you live close by it doesn’t hurt to give it a try.

Let’s start with the pros. Bambinos had excellent customer service and they make 28″ extra large pizzas, two of which are enough to feed a huge group. They also offer gluten free 12″ pizzas for $ 9.99 fyi. The order process (over the phone) was very easy and you just need about 2 hours notice. They also offer local delivery for a fee.
The pizza itself (I didn’t taste given my GF allergy) was just OK from what I was told from adults. However, the kids enjoyed and that’s all that matters since it was a kid birthday party!

I saw this pizza joint while on my way to my brother’s house two days ago and I thought to myself «pizza sounds good right about now». Didn’t get to have a pizza till today.
The place looked like a hole in a wall kind of restaurant and i was worried if this place was any good. I did look it up in Unilocal and saw lots of people liked it. I went inside and that worry grew a little more and was thinking that it might be like little ceasar kind of establishment. Glad I worried for nothing and didn’t walk out because it was pretty darn good pizza. I got the $ 10 deal which included one topping (i chose sausage), soda, and breadsticks. Pizza was melty cheesy goodness and the sausage was of good quality meat. The dough was cooked in perfection — a little crisp but still soft but cooked. What I love about this place is that they gave 2 marinara sauce to dip my pizza and breadsticks so i was pretty happy.
This place is an only takeout and delivery so no dining in. There is only a few parking but since there is no dining in i dont think it will be a problem. The staff looks all serious and stern but once they talk to you they are polite and nice.
I will be back here again and I am looking forward to try their sandwiches and specialty pizza like their greek pizza.
