Breastfeeding With Grace

I have known Grace for nearly 30 years. When I had my second child I immediately began to notice that the breastfeeding was not going well. I scheduled an appointment with San Diego Breastfeeding and came away from them knowing what I already knew.
8 frustrating weeks later I sought help from Grace. Thank God I did. She knew right away that my daughter was tongue tied. Within a week we had an appointment to have it fixed. Grace came to the appointment and coached me through the process. She was amazing. It was a miracle to have her in my life. My daughter is breastfeeding so much better! And getting so much more milk! Thank you Grace from the bottom of my heart. Love u

Grace has been a part of our family since our first born almost 5 years ago. I was having a difficult time with her keeping her latch at 1 week old. My husband did some research and found Grace. She was so sweet, thoughtful, and understanding. She came to us quickly (yes, came to our home to help us!) and was full of such knowledge. And that wasn’t the end of our relationship; it was just the beginning. If I had a question, I called, she answered and she helped. I had two more children since my first and Grace has yet to fail me. She is an amazing person with an amazing heart. My second child wouldn’t latch for almost a full 24 hours. I called Grace and she saw us within just a few hours. Within minutes my baby was finally latched and feeding peacefully. My third baby was tongue tied and she was with us every step of the way. There aren’t words for how amazing Grace is and how she has helped us through some difficult times with nursing. With Grace’s guidance and love, I have now successfully breastfed three children (and am still nursing my third). THANK YOU!

I found Grace by a Google search in the middle of the night when I was jut about to give up on breastfeeding. My daughter was 10 weeks old and we were given a nipple shield at the hospital (they said my nipples weren’t good for BF) and my daughter wouldn’t nurse without it. Even with it the pain was huge. I was bleeding and it was a nightmare. I figured I would call Grace for one last shot. She came to my house within a Day or 2. After 30 minutes she had her nursing without a shield. We never used one again. I went on to nurse successfully WITHOUT pain for a year. Then my second baby came and I thought we were doing well but she had bad reflux! I called Grace not really thinking it was something I needed nursing help with but thought I would just talk to her. She is such a wealth of knowledge. I saw her the next day and she found that my baby had tongue tie. She walked me through the whole process and we never had reflux issues again. I recommend Grace to everyone I know! If it weren’t for Grace I would have never breastfed successfully!

Grace is amazing! If it weren’t for her expertise I wouldn’t have been able to breastfeed my newborn son. I breastfed my first son with zero issues for an entire year so when my second son was born I was stumped as to why I was unable to get him to breastfeed successfully. He was evaluated by his pediatrician and a lactation nurse at the hospital post-​delivery and nobody batted an eye at my traumatized nipples. I thought I was doing something wrong and I was so devastated and in serious pain during each feeding. I found Grace online and immediately called her. After explaining my issues she was able to come over to my home within just a few hours. She was so nice and professional and made me feel so comfortable talking to her. Within minutes she discovered that my son was tongue-​tied and got me in touch with the right resources to get him help right away. She gave me so much valuable information to get me through this obstacle. I seriously can’t describe how grateful I am for everything she did for us. I was just about to throw in the towel and give up on breastfeeding and Grace came to my rescue! I was able to breastfeed my son for 14 months and I owe it all to Grace.

After difficulties with our newborn not pooping or gaining weight we were referred to Grace for lactation support. She quickly discovered our baby was tongue tied and taught me ways to supplement until having her ties released. It was great to find ways to supplement at the breast rather than resorting to just a bottle. Grace made herself available by phone, text, or email for any questions or concerns I had — day or night! It was so incredibly helpful having somewhere there for me while I was struggling with breastfeeding my first child. Thank you Grace for all your help!
