Service was okay, but food was not good. My husband’s turkey burger was extra dry, and I ordered chips with my taquito combo and even though they are a carls jr/​green burrito, they don’t have the salsa bar here. I asked for salsa for the chips and they hand me packets of hot sauce… wow. So then I said guacamole, which they had, but it is not fresh… a good 2 days at least. Bummer

Every single time I get the core of the head of iceburg lettuce. Pure white, thick ass piece.

I wish I could give this restaurant a higher star rating but I just can’t. To begin with my host seemed impatient with me as I looked over the menu. Just stood there with a big frown on his face. Next when I attempted to use my debitcard my order was one dollar more than what I was told it would be. I enquired about it and was told it was because I used my debit card. I said forget it and walked out.

Stopped in after work for a Chicken Club and zucchini. Service was excellent, food was delicious.

I have come here many times with grandkids after school. The food is always good and the service is excellent. This is the best fast food in the area! The manager is always working hard too. Very good customer service!

I was in San Diego on business and did not know this location wasn’t 25hrs. They take my order a little bit after opening and never responded. I drove around to the window and the last opened the door and immediately said «We were not ready yet».
I worked in the industry as a teen and that was the purpose of arriving at work early and prepping. You should be ready to fully serve customers at opening hour.

I only have ever gone thru the drive thru. The people are nice and get your order correct. Food is fresh and semi fast. No complaints

Would never eat there. Working in the area on a SD city project & used the restroom Tuesday & again today, 2 days later & the bathroom has not been cleaned. Still no toilet paper & poo splattered in the toilet. If your employees do not have a clean restroom to use or can keep it clean then they cannot be clean in the kitchen either.

What were we thinking when we went into this fast food restaurant… big mistake. We had the beef, bean and cheese burrito and the chicken enchiladas. First the burrito was mystery meat if I can even call it meat. I think it was essence of ground beef and fat.
As for the chicken enchiladas I’m still looking for the chicken. It looked nothing like the picture packed with meat and fresh salsa. These two items were horrible. Now I have had other items on the menu that were fine however I should know better than to order Mexican food in a burger fast food restaurant.

I don’t eat a lot of fast food but my little sister is super into CJ burgers. And this one sucked.
Sucky customer service.
Out of so many products.
Got home and my order was wrong.

The white guy working here has a horrible attitude about everything. I advise going to. McDonalds for a better overall experience

So, let me start off by saying this is an update.
Secondly, I feel really bad for the guy manager that works here. He is always giving free stuff because the people in the back NEVER get orders right. They should all be fired! Literally!
Third, The customer service that the females give here when you order is amazing! But the new guy who happens to be the only white guy who works there is ATROCIOUS! He should also be fired. I came up to the window was getting my app ready and this jerk has the NEVER to tell me I need to be ready to order when I come up to the window. I was like excuse youu!!! I told him he needs not be so rude. Took my order and not only did he get it wrong but when I asked to speak to the manager he rolled his eyes and yelled at him to get over to the window. Real loser that one. Never in all my years of coming here or to any fast food drive-​thru have I ever been talked to with such disrespect like that. I am also calling the corporate office and telling them this as well. The manager guy is so nice though. But the other dudes that work there and the ppl in the back really need to be fired. Rude and never get the order right. Seriously no joke. Food is good though. I will give them that. A couple of the ladies already know what I want and anything extra they ask me if I need. Lol. The ladies are awesome in the front!!! Never get rid of them

I go to this Carl’s Jr. when I am in the area but watch out here. They put a wrong receipt in my drive thru bag and I freaked out thinking they charged my Am Ex $ 18.00 for 2 burgers. I called the restaurant and the owner/​manager pulled the paper work and found out that I was charged properly and the girl just screwed up the bags.
Otherwise, this is not the worst Carl’s Jr. but it is not the best either. Therefore, 3 Unilocal STARS.

This is the best CJ’s that I know of! Great customer service and can’t say enough of the great food. When in this establishment ask for Jonathan

I come here a lot. It is right next to my office. The people are really nice & go out of their way to get your order right!
Love their Jalapeño Turkey burger, lettuce wrapped, side salad… also love the zucchini, and Sweet potato fries.

Since the last few experiences at this Carl’s were undesirable I haven’t been there in awhile. But I was in the area and had a sudden munchie urge so I decided to give them a try. At first look they seemed quite busy so I thought it w o usd forsure be a repeat of past experiences but I was wrong the staff was polite and everything was fast and smooth … plus my double western was AWESOME!!!

It’s good olé’ CJ, you should know what to expect. I have to admit, they’re marketing manager does a killer job. Their commercials make you want to make love to a western bacon. Then you eat one and immediately regret ever doing it. (the eating part not the making love part). I crave CJ every once in a while and am never satisfied, but I suppose that’s par for the course. I usually get the waffle fries and western bacon with little no remorse. Unfortunately, 10 times outta 10 the burger looks like a hockey puck instead of the fluffy piece of art you see in the commercials. I’ll stop writing now so I don’t go and eat another mistake.

Worst Carl’s Jr ever. I frequent this one only because it’s so close to my house but it looks like I’ll have to find a different one to go to now. They have never got my order right. Even though they read it back to me, and it is correct on the monitor, I never get exactly what I ordered.

Came here for a $ 6.00 burger. Went into the bathroom to wash my hands before ordering when a male employee, Benito, exited the stall and left the bathroom without washing his hands. I confronted Benito in the dining room about his lack of hand washing. His response was, «Bro, I’ll wash them in the back in a minute. There’s a dishwasher back there…, you know? I notified another employee because there was no manager at the location. The postal worker who also witnessed the incident left the restaurant with me without ordering. Damn it! I really wanted a 6 dollar burger.

When I order in, the drink station, and tables areas are usually clean and organized. When I’m on the road, their drive-​thru person always verifies my order and does their usual upselling. They haven’t screwed up my order and give me correct change. So far, so good.
