I can only say what everyone else has said the gentleman behind the counter is a complete ahole. I parked to pick up my laundry and grab a drink he told me to move my car and chased me into the laundry mat. I was ready to call the police, don’t go there he will wreck your day.

Can I give ZEROSTARS? The middle eastern guy at the register was a complete A**HOLE! I went inside with my daughter who is celebrating her 12 year old birthday TODAY9÷28÷15. My wife is waiting in the hotel room across the street and I walk across the street to this liquor store to buy a 22oz beer and a 22oz Smirnoff Ice. We are gonna cheers back at the room with our drinks and my daughters cake with candles. My daughter helps me push the 1 bottle of beer up the counter for me to pay as I push the Smirnoff Ice at the same time. The Dickhead at the register tells me he needs to see my daughters ID. Of course I start laughing and take it as a joke because it’s a cute and funny thing to do with a small child. The register Dickhead tells me there is nothing funny and this is NOJOKE! He said the store cameras saw her touch the beer and therefore the beer would be considered«HERBEER» since she physically touched it. I told him this was crazy and he is taking things way too far! Today is my daughters 12th birthday and she is simply pushing my groceries up the counter for me while I hold my backpack. He told me there is no slack and I need to leave immediately! WTF??? Are you kidding me?! I’m buying maybe $ 9-$ 10 worth of beer/alcohol for my wife and I to celebrate my daughters birthday. I literately did NOTHINGWRONG! I begin to say something to him and he screams GETTHEFUCKOUT! Right in front of my daughter. I am floored by this guys behavior and my daughter is also shocked! Again he screams GETOFFMYPROPERTYOR I WILLFUCKYOUUP! Now my daughter is scared and begins to cry. Let me remind you this my daughters birthday today. All I wanted to do was grab a quick drink for my wife and myself at the local liquor store at go back the hotel room with my daughter. I’m not a big drinker at all. I called the police and they told me this guy has every right to refuse service to anybody. Can you believe that? I get threatened with violence and my daughter is scared to tears and the police won’t do anything. Absolute BULLSHIT!!! Do not go to this liquor store! F the Police too!

Guy at the counter was a real jerk when I went recently. Me and my friend wanted to go to cheeba hut right across the street but finding close parking in PB is akin to winning the lottery, in other words it’s usually impossible. I saw that the liquor store had all the 6 or 7 parking spots free except one. The sign said parking for customers only. I asked the guy that if we bought some items if he would let us use the spot and pop in cheeba hut to order and grab our food to go which would’ve taken no more than 7 minutes. He acted nice and said sure, but after we bought a bunch of items that we didn’t really want just so we could get the spot he told us we had to leave or he would tow us. That’s not cool, and I won’t be coming here anymore. Stay away from this place unless you enjoy sh***y customer service.

The owners of this shop do not understand customer service. They will run out of their store and tell you to move your car before you can even get out. We were parking in your lot to shop in your store. Too many liquor stores in PB to give my money to ride people.

No complaints, the people there are really nice. Great spot before heading to the beach. Nice selection too!

I walked in and bought an orange juice and was waiting for my friend to come out and they demanded I move my car out of their parking lot. I politely requested my money back for my recent purchase and left since I felt disrespected over a parking space. Not getting my money and hopefully it will save some liquor store goers a waste of time.

Overpriced. If you want General Snus, continue yhe street up to US Gas and pay $ 3.29 instead of $ 6

This place is awesome. Of course it’s overpriced it’s a corner liquor store but there’s about 3 regular guys who always are friendly and happy to help you out. They have a pretty big selection for the size of the store too. It’s in a prime location for all of us who live around there and may have already had too many to get all the way to Ralphs(ps. Who wants to wait in the stupid lines at Ralphs anyway?) Open pretty late. $ 10 minium on credit card purchases, so bring cash if you’re only buying a «forty».

It smells. It’s overpriced. They’re intimidating. My 30 year old friend wanted to purchase alcohol and they would not accept her id. They have no selection

Owners are friendly enough. Good selection of alcohol. A great benefit of this liquor store is they also carry basic essentials like TP, paper towel, etc. just a block from our place so can’t beat it:-)

Pricey, but when they have the sea-salted Lays potato chips nobody else has or the four-pack of Kahlua mudslides that nobody else has, then price hardly matters. The owners are nice though.

I’m partial as I went here religiously for the first few years of my tour of PB. Now that I graduated out of PB, I still come here on beach days for whatever. It’s locally owned, which I dig, and the owners couldn’t be nicer.

It’s worth the extra couple bucks just to hear the way the owners(brothers?) pronounce the word«buddy.» It sounds like«buh-eee,» and that’s enough to keep me coming back.
