Oh Diego Dawgs, how I would love to see you again. I love Mission Beach & during my last visit, my friend and I decided to try some fries from this place. I don’t remember what they were called, but they were topped with cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch. Oh, maybe they were the Monster Fries? They were the most delicious thing in the world. I keep talking myself out of driving down here randomly just to eat them again. I hope to come back here soon.

Nothing MONSTER about this place… its a hole in the wall with average tasting Hot Dogs! Ohhh my bad… their is something MONSTER… the price. I ordered 3 hotdogs, 2 small drinks and fries… wait for it. wait for it. Grand total of $ 26.95. If they had pictures of the hotdogs next to the prices these guys would be out of buisness FAST! Stay away… better of eating hotdogs @ AM/PM.

I actually really liked this place. We were just wandering around and were really hungry so got food here! The guy thought my hubby was from Alabama which made me giggle given that we are from UK. Turned out the guy was also from UK! Would I go back? I wouldnt rush out to get there but if I was passing yes. I wish there was a half star for this one.

Excellent O-rings, respectable hot dogs and corn dogs, all at the usual jacked-up fairgrounds prices. You could do much worse around the park.

We were in San Diego on vacation. We ventured down to Belmont Park to check out the beach and such and found Diego Dawgs. All I can say is MOREMONSTERFRIES… totally fell in love with them! The hot dogs are good sized… no skimping there! They also have deep fried twinkies and oreos, it was just what I need after a day at the beach… oh and all reasonable priced too, you defiantly get your moneys worth.

I hope I’m not being one of those douchebags that«FTR» an establishment that’s already been ESTABLISHED on Unilocal just to get that FTR, haha. I really cannot find Diego Dawgs on here! Anyway, spent the day at Belmont Park and Mission Beach today and stopped by Diego Dawgs for some grub. The boyfriend ordered the footlong, I ordered the Monster Fries and a large lemonade for a total of $ 16.not bad for«fair food». My Monster Fries(pictured) was pretty bomb. I’ve seen bigger and better but the ones here deserve 3 stars. Fries aren’t crunchy enough for my liking but that’s only because I love everything extra crunchy(like well done fries at In and Out, wutchu know about that??!). The chili was actually pretty good, too! I hate the chili at Carl’s Jr. but it wasn’t too shabby here. What makes these fries stand out from the rest is the hot sauce they spritz on there… it tastes like the rooster hot sauce(not sriracha) you can find at Roscoe’s! Yummm. The lemonade was a bit over $ 4 for a large; a bit pricey but it was soooo refreshing. It’s just your average lemonade but it’s the perfect thirst quenching drink being in that atmosphere. Of all the places to dine at Belmont Park, I’m glad I tried Diego Dawgs. I secretly wanted to try Five Star Grill and was disappointed when the boyfriend chose Diego Dawgs but luckily, we chose Diego Dawgs because Five Star Grill has 5 out of 6ONE star reviews. Yikesss.
