Located near the middle of Belmont Park close to the bumper cars, this fast food classic sells hot dogs, hot dogs on a stick(corn dogs) and lemonade. Surprisingly they had turkey dogs and veggie dogs as options. As some of my other reviews have stated, in the context of beach food they get a solid four. That being said, I would give them a three at best for food in any other location. Also, the batter would be better if it were double or triple dipped

Whenever we are at the boardwalk, we stop by here for a quick bite. The kids like the deep fried cheese sticks and lemonades(however you spell that). I normally don’t eat from there because I am an adult and have a more developed palate. But I do on occasion sneak a bite of my kids. #glutton

Typical Hot Dog On A Stick they have corn dogs lemonade and more lemonade its near the end of the midway. The line here could get super long because theres not many places here to grab a quick bite to eat so be prepared. They really do have one of the best lemonades you can find anywhere which always keeps me visiting their locations!

Food was great but the brain trust working behind the counter was the only reason they get a bad review. We were there on Saturday night and they had 3 of the rudest employees I’ve ever dealt with.

I just visited Mission Bay area from Arizona. I don’t remember when I had this stick dog last time but It was so good. One stick dog is $ 4.50 and fry is $ 4, very expensive though. Oh well, the location is by the beach, I can’t help it.

Yes!!! There’s a Hot Dog on a Stick location at Belmont Park! We came here to grab a quick bite to eat during our date this past weekend(especially as Kathy had a «buy two, get one free» coupon from Belmont Park’s website). As always, the corn dogs were cooked fresh, with a nice crispy coating. The fries could be a bit more crispy, though(hence, the 4-star rating). The staff are friendly enough; then again, they get to work at the beach(although with those outfits, I’m sure it can get chilly at night…). Also, I always knew there was a reason why I held onto my Hot Dog on a Stick frequent customer card when most of the chain’s locations were closing up… not only did the counter girl stamp it at our initial order, when I returned a bit later to get a couple of lemonades, she stamped it again! Double stamps = cool! It wouldn’t be a boardwalk experience without a hot dog/corn dog vendor on site, and with its affordability, Hot Dog on a Stick fits the bill.

Went to this place and as you can imagine the park /place was ridiculously packed for hot dog on a stick. There was only one worker working her name was kayona and she was as sweet as as can be. Big kudos to her as she kept her composure and handled all orders as the line did not go down for 2 hours straight. The owner of this store needs to hire more employees like her and she definitively deserves recognition from management for the fine job she did today.

This new franchise location at Belmont Park is just what Belmont Park needed, hot dogs and refreshing lemonade! The park is turning around with the new owners and management bringing in well established vendors like Hot Dog on a Stick. The Hot Doggers(employees of Hot Dog on a Stick) at Belmont Park are very friendly and always put on a smile, maybe because they are working at the beach in San Diego, it doesn’t get much better than that! Good food, good customer service. While at Belmont Park, do yourself a favor and Grab a Dog, an ice cold Lemonade and stroll through the park.
